results ahead. president biden appears to be taking a victory lapse over the inflation reduction app as the stock market is tumbling. chuck schumer says america will feel costs coming down. republicans say they are not coming down fast enough. we begin tonight with our final primary night. take it away. >> it is hard to believe this is the end of the road for the primaries. tonight as you mention, delaware and new hampshire and rhode island. let's take you to delaware first. incumbent in new hampshire is maggie hassy. no surprise there. she's a vulnerable democrat on the list of republicans that they're looking to take out and

possibly gain control of the senate. the republican field is really tight right now but it looks like retired army general, don bodug is up a little bit. it looks like there is not many pathways for chuck morris for the votes coming in. 70%. we still have some to go. one of the counties we were looking at is right here where concord is. the board is acting up on me. morris is ahead, however, not by the amount that they thought he would be. that is around where his hometown is. it is where he's expected a big vote. it looks like bolduc is going to pull it out. he was supported with some democratic funding. we'll talk about that in a

moment. first, the district two race, this is very tight. we are down to just about 100 votes here in and this is the second congressional district, robert burns is up. he's a local business owner. the former mayor of keen george hansell is trailing. if we can go to house district one, this is over. this has been called for caroline levitt. she's a former trump's official white house in office. she goes on for this win, she was backed by ted cruz and jim jordan and mike lee.

she will face the democrat chris papas there. what we are hearing from naew hampshire is a lot of concerns for the economy and where the country is going. >> i don't think it is ethical but that's the way it is. i guess you have to do your homework in this day and age and hopefully everybody did. >> 100% is extremely hypocrite cal. >> i am an independent so i have a problem with both sides doing it. nobody is completely innocent in this. they all had blood on their hands. >> what they are talking is the democrats and the democrat party funding the candidates on the maga side. republican candidates who are protrump. they have done it in nine states, $53 million so far. that is one of the states is in new hampshire. it may work out and not only in one congressional race but maybe

in that senate race that you should know a few hours. >> rich. >> also, the president, brett, making an unscheduled stop on tuesday. what will can you tell us about that in >> president biden went to delaware and he went to cast a ballot in delaware, and it is really interesting. he could have done that over the weekend. there was absentee balloting, he was in delaware. he went today and he got the "i voted" sticker. there was a lot of blow back on twitter and elsewhere saying it was $177,000 for the president and the first lady to go backup to delaware with all the white house. he did. he got the sticker. he voted today in the delaware primary. >> got to get that sticker. >> brett, thank you so much. >> you bet. president biden's celebration tuesday of congress passing the inflation reduction act last month. awkwardly timed following the

karka karine jean-pierre was pressed at the white house about reduction inflation act. >> experts have said that this would be the inflation reduction act, it would be beneficial to the extra $300 billion deficit. that's really important as we have right now 1.7 billion in deficit deduction under this admini administration. it would lower that even more which is incredibly important. >> tough back and forthright there for the press secretary. now, there are some experts out there that believed the headline inflation number is actually jumped more than 13% since joe biden took office. a man by the name of peter earl, he's an economist for economic research says core inflation is up 10% during the same period.
9:09 pm
the numbers how you slice them are awful economically, that can't be good news for the president and his party with the midterm around the corner. >> kevin, thank you. well, let's continue that conversation about these new inflation numbers of wall street and the white house in all this with our democratic strategist kevin walley and jason pravis. jason, job numbers haves been solid. what do you say about that? >> for the president of the united states to say he's not concerned about inflation, all republicans need to do is run that ad. the white house's spokesperson trying to say the deficits have been reduced.
9:10 pm
there is no family in america sitting at the table, hey, guess what, the deficit had been cut a little bit. nobody is talking about that. that's why democrats are struggle right now. they don't have a message. they spent trillions of dollars and they peaked the situation worse and not better. >> and the student loan forgiveness slumps that over. >> kevin. >> this event today at the white house with james taylor and the rest of the crowd. >> yeah. >> is that a strategic blunder? you got inflation reduction act and on the other side, you got wall street tanking over inflation. >> the timing of it with the situational on sexual street is not great for the white house. i am a democratic strategist. >> you would strategize that? >> it is going to cut energy cost by the $800 at least a year

9:12 pm
immigration. these are all tier one issue that republicans need to talk about. don't take the bait and don't be talking about january 6th or donald trump. go out and talk about issues that americans care about. >> we see polling favor democrats recently. these are individual races. that is encouraging for democrats but you still have a situation where you have an incumbent president. that does not look good for an incumbent party especially with the economic picture as it is when it comes to inflation. how do democrats get out of that? >> it is a good point. historical trend against the democrats heading into this midterm election. what i am worried about and excited about are the two house members, former colleagues now, new colleagues of jason's in congress from alaska, the fact that we changed that seat after 60-year of republicans controlled and held that special election in new york.
9:13 pm
it is indicating what a lot of people did not think was going to happen with this midterm election that we are flipping the script on republican control potentially, heading into november. > > . >> democrats are trying to turn the script as well. this idea there is been this focus on abortion after the dobbs decision. you had lindsey graham put out this abortion plan today. is he helping republicans here? >> lindsey graham is going to do whatever he does. they'll be vigorously debated. as far as the national elections and the house members and senators are going to be talking about is inflation, energy, crime and immigration. those are the core issues. those are the things they need to talk about. >> how do democrats flip the script, kevin? >> it should be left up to the state which is where lindsey
