4:00 pm
resolved faithfully to follow. >> and monday on "special report" the funeral of queen elizabeth ii. thanks so much for watching "special report." i'm john roberts in washington. "jesse watters primetime" is coming up next with guest host pete hegseth and it starts right now. hi, pete. >> pete: hi, john, great to see you. have a great weekend. starts now for you. >> john: you too. >> pete: thank you. welcome to "jesse watters primetime" i'm pete hegseth and tonight we start with a fox news alert. alarming new video out of texas where hundreds of illegals poured over the border last night. fox news' national correspondent bill melugin is here with the latest. bill? >> yeah, pete, good evening to you. as usual, we had ourselves another big, busy day of activity out here in eagle pass and we will get right to the video and show your viewers. starting with this. take a look. this from our brand new nighttime flying fox drone with thermal imaging. what you are looking at are large groups of migrants
4:01 pm
crossing in the early morning hours, some in the river. some of them going up a river bank and ultimately more than 100 of them crossing illegally into private property here in eagle pass. this part of the del rio sector, which sometimes seems upwards of 2,000 illegal crossings per day. cuff see border patrol eventually led all of those migrants away to be processed. but that certainly wasn't the only group we saw. take a look at this second piece of video after the sun came up. another group of approximately 200 migrants crossed illegally. many of them just walking along a local highway. that's the sort of thing that happens out here in eagle pass. you can just be driving down the road and see large groups of migrants coming into the country and being processed by border patrol. as you can see, many of them single adults. and then as that was happening, take a look at other group that crossed on the other side of town spotted by fox news drone another group of about 200 or so. again, you you can see predominant bely single adults. not seeing many families or little kids anymore.
4:02 pm
this del rio sector includes 450,000 illegal crossings so far this year. that is double the number this same time last year. lastly, take a look at this major fentanyl bust at the nogales port of entry in arizona. cbp agents stopping a vehicle driven by a snug glory who had 2,276,000 fentanyl pills hidden in his vehicle in the spare tire. 146,000 of those pills were those rainbow colored fentanyl pills that the dea is warning cartels are using to target a younger user base. in fact, out here border patrol in del rio sector report they recently arrested a convicted murderer from nicaragua. he was previously convicted of murder in miami in 1996. they say they found him walking on a local highway with a group. they took him into custody and realized he had been deported two previous times, as recently as this past june. thankfully, they caught him again. we will send it back to you. >> pete: bill, thank you so much. we cannot become numb to this.
4:03 pm
because what you just saw is a secure border. that's according to joe biden and border czar kamala harris. they are telling us to not believe our eyes. just trust them. i've seen this happen before about 20 years ago. do you remember baghdad bob? he was saddam hussein's press secretary. during the war his job was to tell the iraqis and the international audience that no americans were coming. everything was fine. even as american tanks were rolling in behind him. >> the last time the world saw mohammed he was denying that u.s. troops had entered baghdad despite the fact that he had already stormed the city. >> there they are not near baghdad. don't believe them. >> pete: don't believe them. they are not near baghdad. oh, look. there is tanks. that's exactly what joe and kamala are doing to us. ignore the 8,000 illegals pouring into our country every single day. our border is closed.
4:04 pm
there's no fentanyl pouring into our communities. there aren't any bodies floating in the river. the cartels, they are not making billions off of smuggling humans, no, the only trafficker you should be concerned about is the governor of florida. >> you have laid out the craziness of the time in which we are living where some politicians would rather not only have an issue but exacerbate it to the extent of literally human trafficking. >> peter: literally human trafficking. sending 50 illegals on air conditioned flights to run of the richest islands in america is literally human trafficking. those flights landed in broad daylight. what about the ones that were sent in the dead of night? they weren't sent by desantis. and they didn't land in martha's vineyard. biden has been sending, as you know, secret overnight planes, buses and trains stuffed with illegals all across the country for over a year. he doesn't care where they end
4:05 pm
up. as long as they are far away from thinks voters. >> a surge in crossings at the u.s.-mexico border in recent months has led u.s. border agents to drop some migrants off at sites in rural american towns to begin their wait for court hearings. these towns often lack the means to cope with the influx. >> pete: pbs from over a year ago. but somehow he wants us to believe him when he calls desantis inhumane for sending a couple dozen to barack's vacation town. >> republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props. what they are doing is simply wrong, it's unamerican, it's reckless, and we have a process in place to manage migrants at the border. where we are going to make sure it's safe and orderly and humane, republican officials should not interfere with that process by waging these political stunts. >> pete: i'm gri gripping this microphone and yelling at you as hard as i can the illegals should have been greeted with
4:06 pm
open arms as soon as they atlanta landed in martha's vineyard of course it is a paradise. this is their policies at work. instead, the residents melted down. they were completely broken by 50 illegal immigrants. first, they blamed desantis for not calling ahead. >> not only did those responsible for this stunt know that there was no housing and no employment awaiting the migrants, they also very intentionally chose not to call ahead to any single office authority on martha's vineyard. >> pete: okay. do you think illegals called governor abbott before they show up in texas? no. they just walk through the open border and start their new illegal life in america. hey, at least desantis gave the immigrants, the illegal immigrants a map to get around town. >> they were provided with a cartoonishly simple map of martha's vineyard and the united states and a brief brochure containing snippets from the
4:07 pm
commonwealth of massachusetts website. >> pete: i find cartoonish maps helpful, personally. luckily for the illegals, the vineyard liberals will be them for them no matter what. >> the people who find themselves, these wonderful people who find themselves on our island, i have a message for all of them, you are not alone. we have your backs. we are proud to be here for you. and we have got you. >> pete: your plane wrecked. you are not alone. that was until vineyard liberals kicked them out. deported them all off the island. they have to get to their court dates after all. >> many of them have dates to appear in san antonio monday morning, tacoma washington monday morning, washington, d.c. monday morning. you tell me how that's possible. >> pete: i'm sure these illegals are dying to leave martha's
4:08 pm
vineyard and head back to san antonio to make their court dates. don't buy there is no room for them left on the island excuse. summer is over. all the rich liberals left the island. their mansions are empty. why wouldn't they led them to the illegals for a couple of months, you know, just a quick stay out of kindness, out of love, welcome everybody. no hate here. because democrats don't actually care about these people. they want them far away. sent back to texas and florida. non-sanctuary locations. but desantis says this is far from over. florida has a lot of cash and he is going to use it. >> there's also going to be buses and there will be likely more flights. but i will tell you this, the legislature gave me $12 million, we will spend every penny of that to make sure that we are protecting the people of the state of florida. >> pete: stephen miller former senior advisers to president trump and america first founder stephen miller.
4:09 pm
architect of sane border policies that were actually humane to see what's going on now and have authorities tell us it's not happening before our eyes. baghdad bob immediately came to mind for me. do not believe what you are seeing everything is under control. and it's the governors here who are the evil ones economists never dreamed up propaganda as outrageous and false white house the as simply as i can. so that a 5-year-old can understand it. when donald trump was president. sent back home with joe biden in office, they are released to go anywhere they please all throughout the united states. that's the reason why people are coming in numbers that no nation in human history has ever seen. and in addition to the millions of illegal aliens coming into our country, consuming our resources, e8d occasion, public
4:10 pm
benefits, hospital and medical services, you have modern day slavery, child sex trafficking. you have violence and death on a scale never seen before at any point in the history of our country. that is evil. that is the result of joe biden's open border policies. now you have a situation where just 50 illegal immigrants out of the millions who have been resettled in our country are sent to martha's vineyard. the epicenter of the rich, far left democrats who fund the democratic party. and they cannot handle it for 24 hours. 50 illegal immigrants were deported by the military after they arrived less than a day later. whether you are talking about mark zuckerberg or bloomberg or nancy pelosi or chuck schumer, rich democrats want to live as far away as possible from the illegal immigrants that they are pushing into poor and working class neighborhoods.
4:11 pm
>> pete: 50 illegals one of the richest places in america, mobilized the massachusetts national guard to come effectively round them up and take them to the mainland where they are far, far away from rich residents. this has served to illuminate the problem. steven, i know this isn't a solution, and i know governor abbott and governor desantis know it's not a solution. should this continue? should it amplify? is it having the effect they want to wake people up to the reality of the frankly iniquity of what happens when you have an open border? >> for the first time in more than a year, the media, the leftist media, cnn, msnbc, "the washington post," "new york times," pbs and on down, are finally paying attention to the daily atrocity that's happening at our southern border because of joe biden's anti-enforcement, anti-constitution policies. so my message to every republican governor tonight is in every instance that you can,
4:12 pm
take the illegal immigrants in your state, the law allows you to and put them into the neighborhood of rich, democrats that are financing joe biden. put them into silicon valley where mark zuckerberg lives. put them into high an necessary port. put them into nantucket. put them into every rich, exclusive enclave. by the way i can think of no better place than martha's vineyard. if you actually believe the nonsense that these are asylum seekers and these are not. these are illegal immigrants coming here for jobs and benefits. martha's vineyard is the place we should set up tents, we should set up shelters and they should be there while they are waiting for their hearings. >> pete: i love what desantis and abbott say again and again we are not a sanctuary state we are sending these illegals to sanctuary states which profess to want this, to value, this to embrace it. yet, they don't because it's been hypocrisy from the start.
4:13 pm
stephen miller, thank you so much for your time. and i agree, every governor should be watching this and following this example. thank you. >> thank you. >> pete: you know it's bad when even cnn is trying to kick nancy pelosi to the curb. and, later, what ever is this? >> frog went to the score and got a new skirt for frog's self and so cute. then for my bug you would say something like bug's special interest is monster high. ♪ more on that soon. ♪ ♪ the best part? the prequel is pretty sweet too. ♪ ♪
