5:01 pm
about your lawn mower. how many have voted to expand the powers of the irs that don't pay their own taxes? more than a few. how many politicians who support gun control from armed bodyguards that you pay for? every single one. whatever they demand, be dead certain they're not doing it themselves. it enrages people. people say this is hypocrisy, but it's not. it's privileged. when nancy pelosi walks into her hair appointment without a mask at the height of the covid lockdown, not because she forgot to bring a mask, she's affirming her position in the social order. nancy pelosi is in charge. you are not. nancy pelosi can do whatever cares to do. you can't. another word for this is a caste system, increasingly what we have in the united states. caste systems are common in poor countries, where immigrants come
5:02 pm
mostly, but it's the opposite of the traditional american system. in the old america, every 16 was considered equal under the law as well as the eyes of god. everybody had to follow the same rules because nobody underneath it all was more important than anyone else. we were all citizens. citizens is a term you rarely here anymore. citizenship implies inherent rights, rights that politicians can't take from you, because you were born with them. the people running our country do not acknowledge this. they do not believe in inherent rights nor do they believe in equality. you may remember how hysterical they became a couple years ago when a few old-fashioned souls dared to say that all lives matter, which they certainly do. the people in charge hated that. they don't think that all lives matter. in their view, some animals are more equal than others. it's hard to think of a news story in recent memory that illustrates this phenomenon as clearly as what's happening on
5:03 pm
martha's vineyard. two nights ago, governor ron desantis generously sent a planeload of 50 immigrants to martha's vineyard. it has everything you could want in the world except for racial diversity. under normal circumstances, the residents of martha's vineyard would have no choice but to say, thank you, governor desantis. you must accept the immigrants. that's the rule. it doesn't matter how disruptive these new people are. it's irrelevant how much they cost to support or how dramatically your quality of life may decline after they arrive, if the crime rate spikes, if your daughter is afraid to go inside, the school becomes unusable, the hospitals fall apart, it doesn't matter, you take it like a man. you don't mention it's
5:04 pm
happening, even in private text messages to friends. if you do, you're a dangerous racist, and could wind up on a government list. that's how america works. everybody knows it, because it's been going on for a long time. that's the rule. but it turns out the people of martha's vineyard are the people that make the rules. they had no intention of following them, not even for a day. the venezuelans were thrilled to be there. watch. >> they are not angry at ron desantis. they're thanking him for having brought them to martha's vineyard. >> tucker: well, yeah. they're thankful. they got a free flight to the vineyard. at first, it seemed they had every reason to be grateful because the people of the town appeared to welcome them as they walked in from the airport, 3 1/2 miles, they saw signs like
5:05 pm
this one, on martha's vineyard, the sign reads, we stand with immigrants, with refugees, all are welcome here. hate has no business here. in other words, no one working for donald trump can go to martha's vineyard. they didn't know there was a caveat to that welcome. hate is not welcome here. okay. then on thursday, an elected official on the island gave the migrants even more reason for hope. and we're quoting. this is a community rallying to support immigrant children and families, state the state representative, dylan fernandez. it's the best of america. then to prove his point that martha's vineyard will do whatever it can for immigrants, fernandez uploaded this picture on to social media, because, of course, everything is a social media opportunity. the picture shows several venezuelans gathered on a porch, run celebrating ruth bader ginsburg. clearly he got that from a local. are these people welcome on martha's vineyard?
5:06 pm
what are they eating? there's no kale or brie for the venezuelans. instead they got corn pops, froot loops, rice krispy, with a side and paper napkins. this seems like a nice place. the food is garbage. it's way worse what we eat in caracas. corn pops? froot loops? what message are you sending? ha-ha-ha. of course the message is really clear many the serfs eat garbage. what does your average venezuelan eat? froot loops? venezuelans love froot loops. they may have gotten the hint that they weren't really welcome there. it was hard to know. the community seems to be rallying behind them. but then, if there was any doubt in the morning, it was gone by afternoon, because the message changed very quickly. the new message was, get the
5:07 pm
hell out of here, brown people. >> the difficult challenges are at some point they have to move somewhere else, right? we cannot -- we don't have the services to take care of 50 immigrants. we certainly don't have housing. we're in a housing crisis as we are on this island. we don't -- we can't house everyone here that lives here and works here. we don't have housing for 50 more people. >> tucker: we don't have housing for 50 more people, says the lady on an island that literally has more than 100,000 empty beds at that exact moment, because it's a seasonal place. more than 100,000 seasonal residents are gone. so effectively martha's vineyard was the largest dormitory in the united states. but no, there's a housing
5:08 pm
crisis. at some point they'll have to leave, meaning in, like, eight minutes max. so there was a guy who's a leader of a nonprofit group, who stepped up to help the refugees. he had a different take. he said the problem wasn't the housing at all. it was the migrants. we're quoting now. it's like me taking my trash out and driving to different areas where i live and throwing my trash there, this man knolled told nbcnews. oh, they're trash? they're human garbage? they're not even real. do they have souls, venezuelans? do refugees have souls? i don't know. they're like trash. someone dumped them on the front lawn. give them froot loops and get them out of here. call the truck, have them hauled away. nbc news actually tweeted out that quote, calling our beloved sacred immigrant community, these non-documented immigrants trash. once they revealed how they real
5:09 pm
feel, they deleted it a few moments later. not everyone on the left, we should tell you, is so intent on sending the migrants away. there's this alternative. quote, i would love to see the obamas open up their huge property, perspective tents, look after these people while they're being tents, she said. actually we're in search of the one decent liberal left in america. that's a fair point. barack obama has a long documented history of having people on his front lawn. in fact, he set up a tent city to house hundreds of people for, let's see, oh, himself, his own birthday party. can he do that again? of course. he should. because to do anything less than that, barack obama told us what essentially punish the people of martha's vineyard. mistreating immigrants would rob them of what makes america a worthy country. watch this. >> america is a nation of immigrants. that's our strength.
5:10 pm
and the notion that somehow we would stop now on what has been a tradition of attracting talent and strifers and dreamers from all around the world, that would rob us of the thing that is most special about america. >> tucker: right. so if people don't camp out on your lawn, people have no right to be here in the first place, you're only hurting yourself. but obama even on martha's vineyard, where approximately 100% of people voted for him and love him, even on martha's vineyard, he could not make the sale. he could not get people to they told us this is a way to help the migrants. we're quoting. martha's vineyard is a community of open-hearted individuals that
5:11 pm
view the migrants as people, not political pawns. or trash. ha-ha-ha. ha-ha-ha. however, continuing the quote, the island is a resort community with only 20,000 year-round residents and already faces a shortage of affordable housing and off-season jobs. oh, it's not just rich enough. they don't have enough beds. it's one of the richest places in the united states, and has more valuable beds than any other place probably in north america right now, but can't swing it. you can do your part by donating to the fund. by donating to the fund, they'll help the migrants. a lot of people believed it. the fund raised $40,000. here's the best part. you'll love this part. how much of the money is going to the migrants? oh, none. none. an update on the fundraising page reveals the funds will instead go toward, and we're quoting, building up a reserve to assist situations like this in the future rather than directly helping this group of migrants in their situation.
5:12 pm
in other words, martha's vineyard is building itself an endowment, just like harvard it's amazing. an endowment for martha's vineyard, not to help anyone, because why wouldn't martha's vineyard want an endowment? okay. well, yesterday at the request of martha's vineyard representatives, they broke it up. the governor of massachusetts, the thoroughly loathsome charlie baker called up the national guard. charlie baker, mr. compassion, literally brought in the army to remove brown people from the whitest island in the atlantic ocean. once the army brought them off martha's vineyard they were sent to a military base on cape cod -- a military base? how welcoming. ha-ha-ha. cape cod is a lot more republican than martha's vineyard. let's send them to them. here's the scene of the migrants being escorted out after less than 48 hours on that jewel in
5:13 pm
the sea, martha's vineyard. >> thank you so much for being here, everyone. we're going to show you, as we're leaving today, a live look in massachusetts. we're showing the ferry carrying migrants, who had been dropped in martha's vineyard, have arrived in cape cod. that bus you see there, heading to joint base cape cod. >> tucker: they don't mess around. the liberals aren't joking. so the rest of the country, just pick a city, pick a city in the country, and ask the person how many refugees do you have living here, migrants, many of them undocumented? how many illegal aliens live in your city and what does it do to the services in your town? they just have to live with it. the hospital is a mess, the crime rate is up, the city looks like crap. nothing we can do. the government sent them here. martha's vineyard don't play. they bring in a army in a day and take them out like the
5:14 pm
garbage. there's a lot of irony here. we'll try to unpack it as quickly and crisply as we can, but just a day ago we were told that ron desantis was a human trafficker, comparable to adolf hitler, because he organized the transportation of migrants in his state to martha's vineyard. watch. >> this is so cruel and so unnecessary, so uncalled for, and so brazen. it shocks the conscience of any fair minded human being. >> this tactic is about as unchristian as it gets. >> stephanie, that's not a political stunt. it is an act of evil, being done by evil men. >> some politicians would rather not only have an issue but exacerbate it to the extent of literally human trafficking as you said. >> and sending them to destinations because you want to
5:15 pm
own the libs. >> in a country, where a woman with a fetus inside of her, with no brain, has to travel a thousand miles to get an abortion. >> look, here's short ron desantis and frankly greg abbott and doug ducey. we hate immigrants. get the f out. we will help you get the f out. >> tucker: these people. ha-ha-ha. ha-ha-ha. morning joe literally had the chipmunk on, talking about human trafficking. there's not enough abortion, by the way. who mentioned abortion? i don't know. these exact same people are applauding massachusetts for using the military to remove undesirable immigrants, trash, trash they promised to safeguard to a military base. i mean, what? is anyone noticing this. what's interesting is that this
5:16 pm
has been going on in other forms for quite a while, for several months now. the governor of texas sent bus loads of people to chicago. it got some attention. we enjoyed it. most people didn't notice it. the second brown people arrived in martha's vineyard, whoa, swarms of reporters descended on the scene because they've been there before. they know martha's vineyard. they don't know a ton about the south side of chicago. brownsville, what? martha's vineyard, are you joking? cnn reported there was pandemonium. >> this is the location. this is the one homeless shelter they have on the entire island. there are five different towns. st. andrew's parish house can handle 10. they've had to increase the number to 50 after immigrants were unceremoniously dropped off on two different planes in martha's vineyard. >> tucker: look at the glasses on that guy. are the glasses on tv people getting more complex by the day?
5:17 pm
in any case, putting it in perspective before we proceed, this is 50 people. 50 people. we've had 2 million people come here illegally. where did they go? they went to probably every state in the country. the biden administration threw them there to change the demographics of america forever. that's just true. sorry. and no one said a word. but 50 people? it's chaos in martha's vineyard. why is only ron desantis a human trafficker for doing this? why is only ron desantis a human trafficker for doing this? it's interesting. according to gavin newsom he's a kidnapper. for more than a year, the biden administration has flown immigrants throughout the country often throughout the middle of the night. we showed you footage of the flights. they're happening in secret. secretly flying people around
5:18 pm
the country. isn't that what the cartels do? biden is doing it. by the way, to his credit, he said he would do it during the presidential campaign, he promised to relocate migrants throughout the u.s. he announced that the united states has room for millions and millions of migrants. watch this. >> we can afford to take in a heartbeat another million people. the idea that a country of 330 million people cannot absorb people in desperate need and who are justifiably fleeing oppression is absolutely bizarre. absolutely bizarre. >> tucker: yeah, it's bizarre. you're a bigot if you're not into it. by the way, just for perspective, the one thing that shouldn't be partisan is immigration policy, because immigration policy is the one policy that's irreparable. it changes your country forever. you should have a broad consensus about what you want
5:19 pm
your country to become before you tamper with the formula. someone like joe biden, only partisan, that's it, doesn't care. by the way, what happened after he transported all these people around the country, hundreds and hundreds of thousands? in one community in florida, that, quote, can afford more migrants, a 24-year-old honduran man murdered a father in his own home in jacksonville. that didn't get a ton of attention, but apparently people on martha's vineyard were watching. they don't want that. that's why the minute biden's voters have to deal with venezuelans seeking the american dream, they call in the national guard to ship them to military installations, as florida's governor said yesterday, this really does have to end. >> all the people in d.c. and new york were beating their chests when trump was president, saying they were so proud to be sanctuary jurisdictions, saying how bad it was to have a secure border. the minute even a small fraction of what those border towns deal
5:20 pm
with every day is brought to their front door they all of a sudden go berserk, and so upset this is happening. if you have folks that are inclined to think florida is a good place, our message to them we are not a sanctuary state, and it's better to be able to go to a sanctuary jurisdiction. yes, we will help facilitate that transport for you to be able to go to greener pastures. >> tucker: yeah. greener pastures. aspen next. and, by the way, every ivy league college, all seven of them, and then maybe you hit wesleyan, boden and stanford, that support illegal immigration, that have more funding per capita than any other institution in the united states, elite liberal arts college.
5:21 pm
how many migrants or refugees are they taking? let's hope the governors of sane states are watching how democrats handle this. within 24 hours of having immigrants dumped on their shores, the people of martha's vineyard had the military move them out. why is nobody else doing that? it's true. there's no longer any reason that republicans should do that. this is the template. in texas, arizona, florida, etc. the editor-in-chief of outspoken joins us. thank you so much for coming on. in some way, it's easy to mock, these people are literally beyond parity, and lack all self-awareness, but they're effective. they don't want illegals in martha's vineyard and they're not going to have them. a military took them out. what's the lesson there? >> oh, absolutely. as someone who knows this type of liberal quite well and spent
5:22 pm
virtually my 20s in the area as as a minimum wage worker, there's not a question in my mind if this had been 50 white ukrainians, they would have flown out a parade, lining up to adopt them, host them in their guest bedrooms, parade them around social media. look at my pet ukrainian. me and dmitri are going apple picking. >> tucker: ha-ha-ha. >> they're extremely racist human beings. this is going to upset them a lot, because unlike when they call us racist we just laugh because it's so clearly not true and doesn't affect us. they don't like being called racist, these things being pointed out to them, because it hits at the bone and core of who they are, how they view the world. race is very important to them. they think about it, obsess about them, and frankly don't want people that look like them in their vacation homes. >> tucker: i don't think the average person is brooding about
5:23 pm
race all day. that's an ugly thing to do. they're obsessed with it. they're obsessed with race. that suggests to me there's something really ugly inside them. >> and can you imagine the optics if they put 50 ukrainians over to a military base? ha-ha. they don't care if they're doing it to the brown people of venezuela, because one said they're like trash. it's dark stuff, revealing who they are. we've always known this is who they are. this is exactly who they are. >> tucker: boy, is that true. so true. thank you very much. >> thank you. my pleasure. >> tucker: so america has a strategic petroleum reserve. it's called that for a reason, because it's one of the most valuable things this country owns. and joe biden is draining it. draining it at a rate never-before-seen. marjorie taylor green of georgia has a plan to stop that. she joins us next to explain.

valuable things we do own, is now at its lowest recorded level in many decades. the white house claimed we were using that reserve to lower domestic gas prices, but as reuters reported actually we're sending millions of barrels to other countries, including china. the washington free beacon found that the white house sent a million barrels to a chinese firm that hunter biden was heavily invested in. again, this is a crime. and no one is saying anything about it. marjorie taylor greene however is. she joins us. congresswoman, thanks too coming on. selling off assets to china to a company that his son was invested in. why is no one saying anything about this? >> i'm not sure, tucker. i think it's absolutely outrageous. so do the american people. the one role most important for the president of the united states is to protect our country's national security. our strategic petroleum reserves
5:30 pm
are just that. our national security, when it comes to oil, the very important resource that we have that fuels our economy, helps us drive our cars, and petroleum also feeds over 6,000 products, things americans rely on every single day. but joe biden has been selling off a million barrels of oil every single day. we're down to 434 million barrels of oil. america consumes around 19 million barrels of oil a day. we cannot sustain this. it is putting us in danger. by our tracking he's sold over 7 million barrels of oil to china. china. our number one threat that wants to conquer us, wants to become the number one superpower in the world. because of that, tucker, it's imperative when republicans take back congress, we have to hold joe biden accountable for this, because he plans to sell more
5:31 pm
oil out of strategic petroleum reserves. i'm starting an article of impeachment on monday, because of this outrageous move he continues to make, putting our entire country in danger. >> tucker: so he's doing it now, we're in september, next month is october, the month after that, if i'm following you correctly, would be november. the first tuesday of which is the pivotal midterm election. he's doing it this for political reasons, to get gas prices low before people vote. >> absolutely. our strategic petroleum reserves are not meant to lower gas prices for november elections. they're meant to be a national security emergency supply for all americans. but joe biden is abusing it. he's putting our entire country in danger. because of that we're not going to have any more oil left. he's selling it to our enemies in corn countries all over the world. joe biden has to be impeached, and we must do it. >> tucker: yeah. it's not his.
5:32 pm
i know he's lived at public expense for his entire adult life, but he doesn't own that. it belongs to the public. he can't just sell it to china. it's too crazy to continue. >> those are his business partners, for sure. >> tucker: marjorie taylor greene of georgia joining us tonight. thank you. >> thank you. >> tucker: so a few days ago a parolee call chris copeland robbed a convenience store in tupelo, mississippi. the clerk cooperated with copeland. he was clearly afraid. within seconds, copeland, for reasons that are not at all clear, but you can interpret them, ordered singe to his knees and then executed him. this is a horrible video. it's not the only video like it. we'll show it now.
5:33 pm
>> tucker: we apologize for showing that. it's awful. it will wreck your sleep. there's no reason to do that. the clerk is complying. that animal murdered him just because he could. because he's been coddled for his entire life obviously. in fact literally. copeland it turns out has previous convictions for multiple violent felonies. there's no reason he should have been out of prison, but a judge let him out on parole. why is that judge not famous? that judge should be famous.
5:34 pm
anybody that participates in a system that allows people like that to roam free and murder hard-working citizens, convenience store clerks, should be punished for it. this is happening all over the country. we have another example of it. jason, good to see you. >> good to see you. back in 2005 in vancouver, washington, when chelsea harrison was 14-year-olds, she was strangled after she was raped. he was sentenced to life under the state's three strikes law, but democrats have been trying to weaken the law. they removed a bill removing second-degree robbery because of equity. then last year the lawmakers on the screen right now, who knew about russell, made their robbery legislation retroactive. that means roy russell, and
5:35 pm
dozens are, are getting resentenced. with time served, and good every about, he could be out in four years or sooner, depending on how a judge rules next month. this guy is only 61-year-olds. he has plenty of more years to murder young girls. the state supreme court in washington recently ruled that courts have to resentence young criminals with sentences and take age into consideration. we're releasing a lot of these people. >> tucker: yeah, but you can't have a gun at home. we'll get vigilante justice soon, because justice isn't dispensed by government. that's what it is. thank you for the report from the pacific northwest. >> thanks, tucker. >> tucker: on a far happier note, we still can't get over, like a song that plays in your head over and over, npr reporter nina totenberg falling in love with the woman she covers, ruth
5:36 pm
bader ginsburg. we got her new book, because it's our civic duty, and it was so amazing that you'll hear a dramatic reading of selected excerpts from the steamiest book ever written by an npr supreme court reporter next. i left headquarters after hearing a plane hit the world trade center. this can't possibly be an accident. look at the sky. it's beautiful. i had in my mind that this was an attack right away. you saved so many lives that day.
5:37 pm
where were you when the towers came down? i hear this loud noise. i look up and it was the north tower coming down. and i can just remember the huge antenna imploding into the building. i looked up and i said, i'm not going to outrun this. i dove under an apparatus there on the corner of west and vesey. awaited the dust cloud. right here. right here. i was in my house in the south tower, came down, and i received a phone call from a firefighter. he said to me, frank, it's really bad down here. i said, i know. and he goes, no, you don't understand. nobody's come home. and i had to get off the phone, tell my three sisters my brothers, that steven wasn't coming home. he ran through the tunnel to the towers. and that's why we started the tunnel to towers foundation. all these men and women have inspired us. every time i'm here at the american response monument that represents the 12 horsemen that rode into afghanistan, they were told,

few minutes rebounding like a goose that had stuffed for foie gras, then compared ginsburg to the queen of england. is she capable of writing prose? we enlisted our voice-over master, our senior producer. pour yourself a glass of rose. chow a gummy, whatever it takes to get you in the mood and prepare for selection from "dinners with ruth by nina totenberg." >> there's no way to transition to this next sentence, dear reader, but every time i took my seat in the supreme court chamber before a big argument i would look and think there's not one man in this chamber i would go on a date with, much less
5:43 pm
kiss. >> tucker: she was supposed to be working, but actually she was having naughty thoughts. she decided that no man on the supreme court could possibly satisfy her desires, when one rh baser ginsburg enters. >> the one item of clothing i remember her commenting on was a scarf that i mistakenly spent a huge amount of money on. i bought in a rush, wore it, and a bill of $600 arrived. i was shocked. i thought, nina, are you crazy? you don't buy a scarf for $600, but i couldn't take it back, it's beautiful, and ruth loved it every time i wore it. >> tucker: nina totenberg is almost 80 years old, still talking about clothes. tell us how feminism is real. real or not, ruth bader ginsburg
5:44 pm
loved the scarf. they went on an intimate shopping trip together. watch. >> the woman who adored opera understood that life in its own way is a performance, and she was prepared to command the stage. that said, shopping with ruth was a humbling experience. she was petite and beautiful and could wear almost anything, and everything she put on fit. her sizes were 2 and occasionally 4. mine hovered around 10 or 12. the first size to sell out. i could never have worn what she did. on me, most of my clothes would have looked ridiculous. >> tucker: nina tottenberg fantasizing about wearing ruth bader ginsburg's clothes. nina's heart was pounding like a gavel during heated appellate arguments. it wasn't the tight-fitting close that seemed just right, it was also her hair.
5:45 pm
nina would give anything for that hair. >> once at a dinner party, i sat next to a man who had been in her law school class. she was not just beautiful, but exotic looking, he said, ago that on the first date of their torts class, when the professor addressed her as mrs. ginsburg, there was an audible groan from her male classmates, which may have been one of the race she wore her hair pulled back in a crunchy for most of her life. she had luxurious, glorious hair, but pulled it back to keep it out of her face so people would take her seriously. only when dressed up would she wear it down. >> tucker: when she dressed up. did you follow that? audible groans, luxuriant hair, exotic-looking beautiful people. 19a tottenberg doesn't need to go to court to tell you about this appeal. of course this is moving toward
5:46 pm
something, a grand conclusion, a climax, if you will. here's nina tottenberg once more. >> then of course there's lust. young people may think it wanes later in life. they are wrong. >> tucker: ooh. lust doesn't wane with age. that's the message of "dinners with ruth." for the first time in a long time, we believe nina totenberg on that. a house hearing went off the rails when a republican member of congress exposed a so-called climate lawyer. it made him angry. that's next. we were told, super young, that you have to be tough, you have to be macho in a male perspective. you feel like, you know, you're not able to open up and, you know, be vulnerable with your feelings, you know what i mean. you have this idea of this machismo, right? like that you have to always be the toughest, the strongest. for me as a man, it's about opening up. not feeling too macho to tell someone how you're feeling when you're feeling down.
5:47 pm
opening up your heart and sharing with other people the way that you're feeling. i have a twin sister who, when i'm sad, i call her and talk to her and we normally have the same feelings. i face time, my grandchildren. that always seems to kind of give me a boost, even when you're having your darkest moments. kicking the stigma means talking about it. it's something that a lot of people go through. it's normal. nothing's wrong with you. and in fact, come join us because we all feel this way. it's okay to feel not okay. kicking the stigma.
