have problems with my map. here is what we know, ian continues to intensify to major hurricane in the last hour in cayman islands and cuba and those along the florida panhandle, don't want you to say this is not going to hurt me, this will impact the whole state of florida over next 24 to 48 hours. water temperature is what we look at in terms of strengthening and we have all ingredients for strengthening over the western portion of cuba. it will not affect the storm that much at all and in front, very warm waters ahead. there is our hurricane forecast, track, on wednesday and thursday, we are expecting this to become a category four storm just off the west coast of florida and anywhere from tampa

up toward the florida panhandle, along that big bend, you need to be paying close attention, go through time it gets tricky. there is not total graechlt where we will see landfall. you need to be prepared with evacuation plans and they need to be coming into completion now, today. as we go through sunday, impact southeast, atlanta, georgia and charlotte, it will be weakening, the problem is we will stee the storm surge, the most deadly component of hurricanes. okay, well category one, it is going to have the impact of a major hurricane in terms of storm surge, that water going into tampa bay, one of the most vulnerable spots in the u.s. for

storm surge, that is what we're concerned with here, storm surge along the west coast, including tampa bay area, if you live in cedar key, jacksonville, you are still impacted by this storm, as well. here is the timeline to be ready today, key west, will feel impact of tropical storm force condition and through wednesday, even orlando, you need to prepare for tropical storm conditions. power outages are a big deal, widespread from sarasota to tampa and places like fort myers through ocala, be prepared for many days of possible power outages in florida and it is warm this time of year, severe storm threat. could see tornados in some areas and water spouts likely with landfalling hurricane, counter

clockwise motion and that provides ingredients for tornados. not talking about a long-lasting tornado, but some that could potentially do damage. the cloud canopy, this is a large storm, we are expecting wednesday 5 p.m., our latest impact and it looks like anywhere around tcape coral are, good news for tampa, because worst wouldn't be coming to tampa bay area. all these areas along the coast need to be prepared for impact and there is still potential that this storm hugs the coast and comes closer to the big bend and the florida panhandle, which has happened before. if you live along the west coast of florida, we have good idea of where this storm will make impact, we need everyone to be prepared for tropical storm force condition and hours along the coast in the tampa bay area

years and part of it is inflation, people holding on to their money, a lot of people decided, i've been locked up for two years, i'm ready to get out of here. we took a big hit, we started to see recooperation when school started back up, people were back home, getting back in the groove and this hurricane comes. we'll see. >> todd: do you worry inflation will get that much worse and worse as demand for basic necessities skyrockets, following a hurricane, people need to replace everything, especially with power outages and damage to their home, are you worried inflation will go through the roof? >> i think it is in spite of this hurricane, i think we'll continue to see rise in inflation, which is ridiculous, it is happening, but i feel like we'll have to wait and see. hopefully people will stay on track and be able to make this
