august 21st, an intelligence firm noticed the unusual presence of russian strategic bombers on site, spring break supersonic bombers designed to carry nuclear weapons. you're seeing the satellite imageries on your screen right now. then just days ago, on septembei intelligence spotted three more russian strategic bombers, t tu-95s. prior to august, there were no strategic bombers. now, as of this week, there are at least seven. ukraine is well within the range of both bombers. in related news, the deputy of the head of intelligence, determines there's a high risk of imminent risk of tactical

strikes on ukraine. how could you going to lower the temperature, prevent global nuclear war? that's the only question that matters. our leaders, though, have no answer instead of calming tensions, they seem to be deliberately provoking russia. today joe biden once again accused vladimir putin of blowing up his own pipeline. >> asked me earlier about the pipeline. let me say this. it was a deliberate act of sabotage, and now the russians are pumping out disinformation and lies. at the appropriate moment, when things calm down, we'll send divers down to find out exactly what happened. we don't know that yet, exactly, but we're not -- just don't listen to what putin is saying. we know what putin is saying is
5:03 pm
not true. will: in february biden says, if russia invades there will no longer be a nord stream ii. the state department said the same thing, if russia invades ukraine one way or another, nord stream ii will not move forward. who has the incentive for it to come to an end? they make the threat, because nord stream ii helps putin. no reason to destroy his own pipeline. we know who is capable of shutting down his own pipeline. that would be joe biden and the keystone xl pipeline. look, there are those, in all fairness, who say the following. they say this is russia's way, bombing their own pipeline, of constricting supply to jack up
5:04 pm
global oil and gas prices and in turn make money on existing contracts with india and china. but here's a question -- why blow up your own infrastructure? why not, you know, just turn off the tap? in fact, that's exactly what vladimir putin did just a few weeks ago. he shut down the nord stream ii pipeline. there was no gas flowing through of the pipeline he's accused of destroying to restrict the flow of gas, none of which was flowing through. i don't know who's responsible for this. i'm logically following incentive. if the u.s. and its allies sabotaged russian pipelines it wouldn't be the first time. in 1982, ronald reagan, authorized the cia to blow up a siberian national gas pipeline using software. so we, american citizens, before we march to a drumbeat directly
5:05 pm
into global nuclear war are entitled to answers. you know who else is entitled to answers? climate activists. you'd think they'd take notice, you'd think they'd ask questions. why? because the nord stream ii leak caused more than 300,000 metric tons of methane to enter the atmosphere. sounds like a lot, right? here's how much according to bloomberg. that's roughly, quote, the same climate impact over a 20-year period as the annual emissions from about 5.48 million u.s. cars. but our leaders, even our green energy czar, they're hoping we ignore all of this. if that's the plan, it just might work, because there's so much going on it's hard to keep track. in what amounted to a crazy day, that literally flew under the radar, flew under the weather radar, and the news cycle, russia attempted to annex parts of ukraine, and then in turn the u.s. announced new sanctions on russia. >> we're announcing new
5:06 pm
sanctions today as well, including new authorities to sanction anyone who provides political economic support to russia's fraudulent territorial claims. i've been in close touch with our nato allies, who are united in our resolve to take on his aggression. >> once more, let's dare to ask a few critical questions, let's dare to critically think. why would more sanctions deter russia? the last seven months of sanctions have led to blackouts and food shortages in europe. meanwhile in russia, the rube rublegot stronger. by the way, our economy tanked. history has thrown from japan to russia, sanctions don't deter, they provoke. maybe that's the goal. it's the only way to achieve regime change in russia, which is the stated goal of the biden administration. remember, putin, quote, cannot remain in power. joe biden's words last march.
5:07 pm
he means it. in april, russia and ukraine had a tentative agreement to end this war. ukraine could have kept its territory. all they had to do was promise not to become a nato member, because nato wants to remove putin from power, but the biden administration and the uk vetoed that deal. so, again, a critical question. is this really about keeping ukraine safe or is it about regime change in russia? even if that means starting a world war. today if there was any doubt left the president of ukraine settled that question. he signed ukraine's, quote, expedited application to formally join nato, yet another slick, well-produced video from kyiv. watch.
5:08 pm
>> will: nice pan on the handheld camera. if ukraine joins nato, that means world war under article five of the nato charter. millions die. instead of trying to avoid that catastrophe, our media, though, is telling us that is essentially inevitable. "the new yorker" published this excerpt, that we're already fighting in the third world war, whether we acknowledge it or not, perhaps save for the whole holocaust. over to nbc, a historian compared putin's russia to nazi germany before the start of the second world war. why? because putin announced he's annexing territories into russia. ukrainian territories into russia. is that comparison fair? putin to hitler? nato thinks so. the foreign minister of poland just pledged that nato countries will use nuclear weapons against russia if russia's strategic bombers carry out a first
5:09 pm
strike. he said it doesn't even matter if ukraine is in nato or not. in washington, you will not find a politician, in either party, who disagrees on that point. they all believe that defending ukraine is worth risking armageddon. of course. so does lindsey graham. he just also compared putin to hitler. >> i hope we'll also send a very clear signal here that we're going to have more aid in the -- if we do an omnibus in december, which i hope we will, to fund the government, we'll have a robust package of military support taking ukraine into 2023. have we learned nothing from the last century? what should we have learned? that when it comes to bullies and crazy people who want to, you know, put the world under their thumb, like hitler, they should believe what they say, stand up to them sooner rather than later. >> will: that was lindsey graham. standing next to him, democratic
5:10 pm
senator richard blumenthal. why are both parties trying to provoke russia into using the bombers? we'll ask colonel doug mcgregor, a retired u.s. army colonel who joins us now. colonel, great to see you this evening. a whirlwind whiplash of news today when it comes to russia and ukraine. what should we make of it? >> well, not quite what senator graham had to say, or for that matter president biden. the destruction of the pipeline was clearly not executed by russia. no one believes that. in fact the german population is being polled. overwhelming is opposed to the notion of any war with russia and dismisses out of hand the notion that the russians are responsible for the pipeline. i think three things are what we're dealing with right now. first of all, putin has decided that no one in washington will negotiate with him. he knows that washington is ultimately in control. and so he's decided that if
5:11 pm
response he's got to escalate the military operation. people aren't aware of it in the west, but the russian forces in ukraine have always been outnumbered from the day they entered ukraine. that's going to change rather than dramatically. i suspect the bombers that you referred to, who carry both conventional or nuclear weapons, will have conventional arms, and those bombers are probably going to be used in the escalation we're about to witness in ukraine. i think he's going to settle this dispute in ukraine on terms that are acceptable to russia that we may not like. other than poland, no one in nato is interested in going to war with russia. if we persist on this line, we will see nato dissolve and fragment. >> will: because you're saying they will not follow poland's lead, not stand to together. i assume that's what you're saying, colonel? >> of course, absolutely. no one wants to go to war with russia, other than the poles and
5:12 pm
a few people in washington, d.c. >> will: that will be the key. that will be the key, whether or not if the world does not follow poland into the war with russia, will the united states of america push the world into war with russia. colonel doug macgregor, thank you so much. >> sure. >> will: a fox news alert. hurricane ian made landfall in the carolinas today. we're in charleston, south carolina. molly, what are you seeing with the latest? >> good evening, will. the rain and the wind has tapered off. things have slowed down quite a lot here as ian as moved further inland. in downtown charleston have, we had a chance to drive around. there was 6 inches up to a foot of water on the streets down there, not uncommon when there's a big storm. this city is used to that flooding. around 6:00, 7:00, it had begun to recede quite dramatically. a lot of people on the streets checking for damage, picking up palm fronds and branches that
5:13 pm
had come down. still right now tens of thousands of people without power. so they're keeping their eye on big, gusty winds that still remain. more than one person expressed a general sentiment that charlton dodged a bullet with this storm. further to the north, from here to myrtle beach, the coastline got pounded. one of the hardest-hit spots is pauly's island, inundated with ocean water there in that area. there were high water rescues, the midway fire department pulling out high water rescue vehicles. will? >> will: momomolly lyon, thank u so much. brian, where is the storm now and where is it going? >> will, the storm is located in north carolina now. take a look at it there. and i'm going to do a little meteorology with you here. you can see this line right here. the storm is called
5:14 pm
post-tropical where top winds at 60 miles an hour, mostly over the ocean. it's called post-tropical because it's more like an inland nor'easter right now, morphed itself. that line i was showing you, that's the line -- didn't draw that well, did i? that line is between the cold air to the north and the tropical air to the south. when cold air and tropical air meet we end up with a lot of rain. we still have the winds. look at the rain. again, it's north of that line. that's where that tropical moisture is running up over that colder air. this is going to be very heavy rain in some spots. they have flood alerts out. i mean, kind of a big deal across that part of the country. here is the wind situation. so by tomorrow morning, 40-mile-an-hour winds here, moving out of north carolina. then the storm dies out by saturday night in terms of the wind. ignore all the colors here. u.s. why think of all the areas under a wind alert.
5:15 pm
it's because of the tropical and nontropical characteristics of the storm. then we talk about the rain. here's the rain. you can see why the purple areas are, 5-8 inches over hilly country. that's a lot of rain, causing flooding. here's the deal. in the yellow area there, that's what the national weather service is saying has a very likely potential for flash flooding. that's tonight into tomorrow. so from charlotte to columbia, over to norfolk, and raleigh, be on the lookout for that possibility. it's a dangerous night to be out. everybody should really stay in. then take a look at the rest of the weekend. here's the big band that we were talking about coming in with strong cells, heavy, heavy rain tonight. we go through tonight into tomorrow, and this slowly peters out, but spreads north and ruins the weekend up and down the i-95 corridor. then finally just dies out this weekend. all right, guys, that's it. back to you. >> will: brian, great information for anyone living in
5:16 pm
the carolinas and the eastern seaboard for the rest of the weekend. brian norcross, thank you so much. tucker will make an appearance this hour. that's straight ahead. plus, should joe biden take a cognitive test? we'll go over that next.

progressive or traditional and the rate of crime. the rate of homicide in trump states as compared to biden states, take all 50 of them, is 40% higher. >> the republicans say the opposite. >> republicans lie. let's just get down to it. republicans lie. that is what they do. >> will: so much to work through there. a pennsylvania congressman joins us. let's start with the statement "it is working." the policy is working, according to -- -->> totall delusional. if you graduated with 300 kids in your high school class, three

victims would be the victim of violent crime, if you were in philadelphia. that's staggering. the person to blame is krasner. the fact that he fired 30 veteran prosecutors when he took office, in essence, did away with cash bail, for example, leading to the chaos and the violence we're seeing on the street. >> will: it's not as though we're at the cutting edge, the leading edge, of watching and experimenting, how these policies play out. we're seeing it across the nation. so in other words, when he says it's working, it makes me wonder, well, maybe it is in your estimation, maybe it is working, if you actually want to create more crime. that's exactly what's happening when he says, well, trump states, red states, have higher crime, ignoring the fact that's localized in blue cities within red states. >> you can correlate the rise in crime to two things. number one, das that in fact

decriminalizing a lot of offenses. also the defund the police movement. we've seen in places like l.a., for example, no, where they cut $1 billion, crime rates go up as you defund the police. they can't hide from these statistics. >> will: no, no doubt. unfortunately philadelphians can't hide from this crime. it's being played out, not just in philadelphia, but cities across this nation. you have to ask, then, what is the goal that you're actually working toward then? what is the goal? all right, congressman, thank you for joining us this evening. >> thank you, will. >> will: major cities becoming more dangerous, this while the economy is in a free-fall, nuclear war, a possibility. at a time like this, you need, not just want, you need a competent president. so you have to ask, what's joe biden been doing lately? we assembled a montage of recent joe biden footage. all these clips are from the month of september. >> some people ask whether you

seeking an elected position should be fully transparent with their physical and cognitive fitness to make sure they can do the duties of the job they seek or that they hold. now, the president in november of 2021, had his annual physical exam. we get it every single year from the presidents, and they say how strong they are. the president's physician talked about some of his, you know, common medical comichaelmi morb. under the affordable care act, those 65 and older are required to have a cognitive assessment when they have their annual wellness exam. yet the president's wellness exam did not mention his cognition. if you remember in 2018, president trump, because people were questioning what his mental state was, he underwent a common generalized assessment, the montreal one, and he passed it with flying colors. so now the president has his annual physical coming up in about a month. he'll be 80 years old. president or not, any
5:29 pm
80-year-old man should be subject to cognitive testing. >> will: yeah. i think that's probably the most important point. you know, i don't think it escapes anyone's attention, but in that clip, asking where jackie is, congresswoman walorski, wondering where is jackie. if you were not president of the united states, you'd want a cognitive test. we're talking about the leader of the free world. >> well, will, and that's unfortunately -- that's why i wrote the article. that's why it's coming to my attention, because of these gaffes. we have to know if the presiden, deserve to know, as americans, you know, elections they're essentially investments of our future of america. the we need to have -- put our strongest foot forward, dealing with inflation, coming out of covid, everything else we're dealing with.
