performance by patrick mahomes and the kansas city chiefs. everybody thought they were gonna be on a down slide after tyreek king-el departed for miami. he ran near the goal line one time i got right up near it and was going to get tackled then gave a little basketball hoop pass and they scored a touchdown. he is so much fun to watch. he really played well. he had watched at super bowl tape a couple of years ago when they lost in tampa to the bucs which was a much, much bigger game. it really aggravated him and motivated him. kansas city when they get rolling with kelsey and just the weapons that they have, they are tough to stop. they went against the tampa defense i couldn't stop them last night. tampa had only given up 27 points the entire year. they gum up one more point than that last night. kansas city was on all cylinders. >> brian: is he healthy? >> yeah. it looked like a mind heard his arm a little bit on a play where
5:53 am
he got blindsided but came right back in through two or three more touchdown passes after that. i don't think it is an issue. it's football. guys get banged up. he was a little banged up but didn't seem to bother him at a all. what bothered him was they kansas city offense and those guys are hard to chase. he fumbled the ball in the first play of the game ended and set the tone. kansas city went up 7-0. it was out of the races from there. >> brian: let's go to the eagles jaguars game up 14-0. doug peterson going against his old team. eagles are the only 4-0 team in the nfl. are they the best team from what you saw? >> well, it's hard to make that evaluation after one month. they are the only undefeated team. they look like they are a team that is going to have to be reckoned with. they are in the division where nobody feels it's a tough division even though the giants are 3-1 and the cowboys are 3-1. washington is not a good team. they are going to be for that
5:54 am
division and probably win that division. they are going to be a team that's going to be a playoff team. right now, they look like they have it. it helps that trevor and lawrence who has been just terrific so far this season fumbled the ball 4 times. that is a first in the nfl. it's hard to be a first. that hasn't happened in a long, long time. five turnovers on the day because he also had an interception. the defense of the eagles has been terrific so far this year. i look for them to be a team to be dealt with. >> the buffalo bills and ravens are the top teams in the league's. the ravens up early but a comeback that is the story. >> it is because the bills are also being one of those teams that are being looked at. they chiefs and the bills might be on a collision course. baltimore gave up a 17-point lead. they gave up and lead to miami. that's got to be very concerning for the ravens. the ravens had an opportunity to kick a field goal on fourth down
5:55 am
at about four left. even though coach harbaugh did have an explanation and he went to analytics. he could've taken a 3-point lead instead. he puts it on the foot of the bills. they cash in. there you have it. buffalo is in pretty good shape. >> brian: new concussion protocol after he gets hit twice pretty significantly in four days and people think you should know been out there after he was knocked silly on sunday. he plays on thursday night game again. a trainer gets fired. the nfl says they are going to make some changes. they made a statement. nflpa have agreed to i got some different protocols, 15 seconds, jim. what can we expect now? >> he should not have been on the field. the unaffiliated doctor, he was let go. the nflpa once the players to be treated like they are patients, not like they are guys who just get thrown back out on the field.
5:56 am
that was atrocious. it should not have happened. new protocols need to be in place. >> brian: let's go, the radio show and podcast featuring jim gray, tom brady, larry fitzgerald. thanks so much. it was great. >> thanks for having me. to >> brian: more "fox & friends" in a moment. g go ♪it takes two to make it outta sight♪ ♪one, two, get loose now! it takes two to make a-♪ get double rewards points this fall. book now at bestwestern.com. mahindra is the official tractor of tough. right, chase? yep. that's right, tony. this baby's got four thousand pounds of front-end lift capacity, right? it sure does. so who's tougher, kid? me or you? you are, tony. can you put me down, now? what? you want to go higher? okay. i said down, you old goat! i am the g.o.a.t. mahindra - the official tractor of tough and stewart-haas racing.
