how do we explain it? >> i think we got to be straight up with them. what we do know is that even one pill can kill. and if you look at the victims across the united states in the last four or five years, many of them had no idea what it was they were taking. or who they acquired it from. they are really the victims of new organized crime as we are seeing it in this country. to be straight with our educators, to be straight with parents, with coaches. everybody needs to get on the same page here and warn our kids. ainsley: hey, jack, i wanted to ask you are these drug dealers or people that they found this colorful -- these colorful drugs on, are they just using that to evade police and try to get over the border or if they get caught police won't know what it is, they will just think it is candy or are they actually putting it in candy and selling it to people? how would it get from those drug dealers into our halloween boxes? >> produced primarily in mexico. brought across the border

obviously illegally. and then they will package it in any way they can to sell it and to move it. much of it is done to disguise exactly what it is. you see here in your illustration of colorful packaging, but it's all done to appeal to the user base that they are going after. in this case it's young kids. and that's what really keeps me up into the night because we are seeing this expand across the country. >> ainsley: in school we used to buy candy and they would go class to class and sell it and go to charities so our teachers would let us have it. i'm scared some kid could buy that and it could get in the wrong hands. i don't know. we all have candy around our house. what if the 15-year-old in your house does have this fentanyl pill in a nerds box and their 8-year-old brother or sister goes and thinks it's the real candy and it's not? >> that's exactly what parents should really be concerned about. and i think the more we move closer into the holiday season, it's even more important that we
