running a full campaign. >> i think the people who voted, who want to vote for you, want to be reassured that the doctors say you can do the job. so is there anything like that that might be forthcoming? >> i believe that, and that's what they have done. >> okay, and it's not just his health that pennsylvanians are feeling uneasy about. they are his policy positions, as well, like calling for the release of all second-degree murder suspects and those convicted of second-degree murder from pennsylvania's prisons, which he appeared to do with comments last year when he chaired the state's board of pardons. >> a lot of what's going on in this race right now is people hiding the truth. that's the opposite of what we want in a democracy. what the candidates out there asking and answering questions, you want the voters to be able to quiz us, and money is pouring into protect john fetterman. >> that it is, indeed.

by the way, there's also this happening in the great commonwealth. crime. unfortunately it's just about everywhere, that includes places like wawa. i love wawa. they are considering to halt further plants in the city due to crime. in pennsylvania they also say the state -- so much going on there -- will disregard the supreme court guidance on counting mail-in ballots arriving with envelopes, with typos and incorrect dates, saying the state commonwealth court has already established that practice. a lot happening, and worth keeping an eye on, because little decisions like that were made at the state level and to have a major impact on that senate race we just talked about. >> and it's not just about his health. these ideas are very extreme. against voter i.d. come against fracking, which is their economy there. century cities, no restrictions on abortion, pay for injection

have what looks like a protective covering to try and probably, at this point, shield us. you can see the major crimes unit, we learn from a witness, she heard several shots fired, around 10:45 p.m. last night. we believe this was just before 11:00 p.m. we have since learned from connecticut state police that two officers were shot and killed and later died at a local hospital. in the third officer is now seriously injured at this point. we also have video that we want to show you, just the show of support that we have seen from state police here in connecticut and local police officers throughout the state at that local hospital where we believe the officers were brought to be treated earlier this evening. and we also know that a procession right now is leaving from that hospital to bring the

talked about yesterday, in chelsea, ps 33, has received some of the students. to this impact your entire district. what are your concerns? >> we are concerned that the families are arriving here and they are not receiving the support they need. this students should be enrolled in schools but they don't have the papers, access to medical care. our schools were not prepared. we don't have bilingual teachers. children are being asked to translate for other children. our schools will were not prepared to receive this influx of students and we want to make sure everybody's being served well. >> ainsley: are they vaccinated for measles, mumps, rubella? all the vaccines most kids are getting and required to new york schools. how are you going to test them to make sure? went to the laws say? >> the law says that within 14 days a student in t the

new york state must receive immunizations. you want to make sure they have access to medical care and the students have access to the immunizations. so we don't have spread in our schools. >> ainsley: what happens next? what is the solution? can you accomplish that in 14 days? >> i hope so. our schools are doing the best that we can. but it's being dumped in our schools, and it's not our responsibility to do immigration policy. the schools are already struggling. in new york city we close schools for a long time. we have violence in the city really impacting schools. we are concerned about the capacity with all these crises. >> ainsley: you are probably getting a lot of calls. there is one mom "the new york post" interviewed and she said she has a third grader in the class with first graders, second graders, and third graders, and they are dumbing down with their teaching

teaching in school. they are not up to standard because they want to make sure all the students who don't speak english are learning, as well. what do the people who live in your area and your district say? >> that's been a huge concern, huge learning gaps in the same class, and asking teachers to differentiate the instruction. it's not feasible. our teachers are doing the best they can, but you cannot teach five grade levels in one class, and they teach to the average student. the kids who are behind and who are really advance end up not being served. >> ainsley: teachers are overwhelmed and they'll end up quitting because they can't handle this. they are under pressure it's a little. how long did you get of notice that they would put the skids in the school? >> at sometimes it's the next day. we received almost 100 students in ten days. our schools are doing the best

free debate of ideas." that's what higher ed is supposed to be about. >> ainsley: we are supposed to argue our opinion and be a freethinker, but it is so discouraged, the opposite of what the university wants you to feel. >> he says, "i'm not trying to cancel yale, i'm trying to stop them from canceling people like me." you are canceling and hurting students at yale if you won't take them, but he says he has to draw the line somewhere because you want students to come out of law school and be good advocates. to me, one of the best things i did in law school was moot court, where you have to flip and argue the other side of an argument. and justice scalia said he wanted one click to be a liberal all the time because you want holes in the argument, the thins you are missing. it's only when you debate the other side he could do that. >> brian: the debate has gone out the window, but it's not just yale. other ivy league institutions, the same things. i think about alan dershowitz, as liberal as liberal gets come and he's been canceled by the
