some of the panel that we are talking to parents have higher them and say they are bringing people into the office because they are good individuals. it is a hard school to get into, but this gentleman on the front row has hired how many of them? seven. >> and you love them all. >> they are the best. harvard grads all across the country. >> ainsley: why is that and what makes the students different? >> they have self starting can-do attitude and any supervisor are the best that you want. they've got the wide breadth of skills. >> ainsley: that is great. let's talk about u.s. parents putting food on the table, gas in your car. it is expensive right now but inflation, feeling the effects of inflation. that is how the rest of the country feels also superior the majority of us, that is the number one issue going into midterms. pete, brian, that is a conversation this morning. we have been talking about education. we have been meeting with this group for what, two years now.

until after the midterms. the saudi government says in a statement, "the decision made unanimously by the opec+ group. and through continuous consultation with the u.s. administration that all economic analysis indicates that postponing the opec+ decision by a month according to what has been suggested would have had negative economic consequences. john kirby from the white house is responding. we had analysis that backs up in terms of when supply is concerned right now. the lack of global supply continues to be, quite frankly, the biggest challenge in the global energy and cutting supply makes no sense. mathematically, period. energy inflation and price is 8.2% higher than this time last year. but president biden says it could be worse. >> today's report shows some

will continue to talk to the voters who are parents and concerned about education. here is another wrinkle in this, say you live in eastern oregon, all right? and you want to be represented in your capital. maybe you don't want crt or, you know genter disorient talk to your second-grader. maybe you want to be part of idaho because idaho seems to reflect your values better. there are two counties i believe in oregon who have now voted to succeed from oregon in joining idaho. you are looking at the map 17 counties in eastern oregon want to be a part of idaho instead. brian, i don't know how this works. can you vote to leave a state as a county because it looks like they are trying to do that? >> brian: i don't remember that county but how we acquire states for a country, but how does a county leave a state? i think the overall picture is

as these referendums get voted on on november 8th is, how desperate are you? how hostage do you feel because you live in a rural area? most of the voting is coming in of inner-city's, which tend to vote way left. inner cities have been ruling before our eyes like portland, just destroyed. wait a second, i don't want to be a part of this state anymore. if portland will continue to be the center of anarchy and liberal policies as you mentioned crt and gender studies and pick your pronoun instead of do a math homework. i want out. here is from greater idaho my spokesperson who told this to fox news digital. >> what is unique to oregon is eastern oregon borders on a state that has almost the same values as eastern oregonians and that is idaho. so that makes a lot of sense. it makes more sense for eastern

portland, chicago, atlanta city, chicago. 5% of the people say they are going somewhere else. >> ainsley: yeah, that is what i love about the oregon story. they are sagging, "we are not leaving. you are not forcing us out. our grandparents are here, families, raising her kids here. we left it but we don't like portland. but we love our community so we are not moving. we will just change and become another state." i think it is also in there awesome because people who love new york love new york. people like us even if we didn't love new york we can't leave necessarily. there are too many people around the country... be when i am getting an idea if you support me, let's break off long island. let's break off long island from new york city. how about that? >> ainsley: i thought about that. people want new york city to go, you know, sail off into the atlantic. and then the rest of the state would be happy. >> brian: right. >> pete: we could start a trend. >> brian: yes, please.

can you explain that? >> there are two offenses going on and one is in the east heading all the way from khaki eve down to the donbas region and the other one you mentioned, kherson and the focus is the city itself. what the ukrainians have done is cut off access to the city by dropping the bridges and damaging them. and forcing the russians to be at siege. in other words been cut off from supplies. ukrainians don't want to go into the city to write building by building a block by block because they know that his casualty producing. they would squeeze the russians and force withdrawal. that is likely what will happen. we will see that unfold over the next few weeks. spoon one they say russia is beginning to evacuate the khersn residence. some against their will and that is another tactic to take a lot of ukrainian hostages and send

and it is to all of y'all. what are your thoughts when the a.c.t. scores are the lowest in 30 years? >> well, what is really shocking is it is the college bound students that are taking the a.c.t. and the first place. so those numbers are actually quite a bit higher students graduating are not meeting the d reading, math, et cetera appeared for covid, yes, two years of learning loss, they cannot deny even the teachers union at this point. but you don't get the a.c.t. scores without having a long-term problem with reading and math and benchmark spirit it is not a two-year problem. covid blew the lid off of all of these underlying issues and education. >> ainsley: what is the solution? >> you know i'm a proponent of classroom education" link back to the basics and finding out what is important and not doing as much of the social engineering in the classroom and the psychiatry in the classroom.

just focusing on what they are there to do in the first place reading, writing, math, period. >> ainsley: darius, you said it is the unions and the school board. glenn youngkin is a start but he is not enough. he can't do it all on his own. it has to seep into the leaders. >> it does. and i think the way to solve this to amy's point, you need to vote every single time at the federal level, state-level, and municipal level and get the democrats out. since 1979 when the department of education pulled out as a favor to jimmy carter for the teachers union and support in '76, they have spent $1 trillion. tell me what we have gotten for that from the department of education? >> ainsley: why spending so much on crt when our scores are down and the basics? >> seek i think there is something deeper here. this is an attack on the family in an attack on the church, particularly if you are a christian, right? they get to the kids, they bring

in crt, equity and now gender contagion which is extremely dangerous and harmful and a way to get to the kids, break up the american family, and at the same time, we now hear this term called "personal nationalist." another term the left is using to go after the church. >> ainsley: fred, we were talking during the break and you came from kenya as a child. you went to virginia tech and ran track for virginia tech and went to the university of south carolina. we were talking that you ran there and competed against our school. what were your thoughts? you came to america for a better opportunity and give your kids a better opportunity. are you disappointed? >> i'm very disappointed. my daughters are the most important thing to me. this whole crt thing and equity thing, which i can't believe -- i can't think of anything more racist and telling a black student that we are going to increase your grades so that you can catch up because you are black. i can't think of a more racist

policy. i don't want my daughters -- just think ten steps ahead, come on guys! ten steps ahead, what are employers going to do when they hire a black person that they know the grades were pumped up and throttled? it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that racism will creep into hiring. it is ridiculous. it is the most racist -- it is the bigotry. no longer soft bigotry of expectations but the open bigotry with low expectations and it has to stop. >> ainsley: what you say to the academic schools that want to be more diverse but not accepting diversity in politics? they want everyone to be liberal. they are not accepting -- and we have to have freethinkers. we have to have great debates, especially the college level. we have to teach them to go out into the world to be autonomous and in order to do that, they have to hear both sides but that is being silenced. >> it shows the hypocrisy and political agenda behind what they are doing. if they are really about diversity, they would give

diversity a thought. for example, i tell all the time, if you found out that your child was in a secret, underground club at school or being taught the gospel in class, and that the school board and the principal were in on it and you only find out, how would that make you feel? >> ainsley: we want to know what her children are doing in n the classroom. >> they don't mean it when they say diversity. diversity is code word for "our way." >> ainsley: cheryl, education is important why? >> education because we talk about the future leaders. even though my daughter is only with two years left in school, i worry about what is education going to be when i have grandchildren? and the attitude that i have seen, you know, when my son started school in 2007, parents were encouraged to be a part of

a make your child's education. in that attitude has shifted so much and i think we all saw it when i got smacked in the face. when we went to the school boards and begged them, "please reopen our schools. our kids are struggling." and they said, "we don't care." >> ainsley: round you talked about fairfax county and loudoun county. what do the school boards look like? loudoun, have they improved and are they listening to the parents now? >> thanks for that question. and no, i myself ran for school board 2019. and i ran for school board because like amy said to come at the a.c.t. scores and other issues that we have with fairfax county, loudoun county and other areas. it is not happening. it has been a problem for over a bit of time. 2019, i talked to the parents on

issues around -- having said that, the school boards have to be changed completely. they have to be governed well. we have glenn youngkin but it has to change at the local level. and we need good governance, good leaders and without that, it is hard and tough for our kids with the education. >> ainsley: tracy you have gotten involved in this issue but why? >> because i saw my kids crying. >> ainsley: really? >> i saw them in a ball on the ground because i have no other choice. i don't want to be here. i don't. i don't think any of us really want to be here, do we? >> ainsley: where you want to be? >> i want to be home with her kids who are happy and not one or two years behind in their education. that is all i want. i want to take them to swim. >> ainsley: what did you say when you said, "why are you

crying, honey?" >> when you try to do school on a computer and you are a kitten or gardener? what else are they going to do? i did everything and made the bouncy balls and i made the special room and i sat there and worked with them and they still cried and can you imagine the kids, the families couldn't provide the bouncy ball in the special room and able to work from home. my goodness. that is why i'm here. i'm here for them too. >> ainsley: anyone else have a story similar to that? i would like to just at that tracy's comment about none of us want to be here. of course, we want to be here to see you, but this is exhausting work. you lose friends. i've had families shun me. people don't like that we are advocating and exposing what is going on in public education. >> ainsley: yes. and i just applaud all of you for that because we have to.
