if you talk to the base, people want accountability. there are things that have gone down that need to be reconciled before we move forward. whether about elections. whether about treatment folks peacefully there on january 6, whatever it was, those are messy politically items to deal with. a lot of people care about what happens with those. i think it will be interesting to see how they handle that tension in 2023 should republicans take the gavel the idea it becomes preventative to slow down the things biden administration is doing in the future as they are the majority in congress. pete: sure calling mayorkas to the carpet is that helping what is happening there? rachel: we're talking about issues of equal justice and these issues for sure. there is also issues of equal justice when it comes to the abortion situation in this post-roe v. wade era where we've had over 70 cases of vandalism that have not been at all addressed by the fbi against
