them, the democrats, is they just spent their money way too early on an issue that was going to go away. imagine i did this pew etch and sketch and greg comes along, knocks it out of my hands, shakes it up, and it is gone. wait, i wasted $100 million on something that i'm not going to be able to run on. today, the senate majority leader chuck schumer says we're going to do this, go after maga republicans by having a bill to codify roe v. wade. kind of weird, the supreme court said there's no constitutional right to abortion, but go ahead, pass the bill, have the supreme court knock it down again, fine. that tells me that they've just spent hundreds of millions on abortion ads but are not willing to say where they are on abortion. the last three weeks of debates have been more about democrats having to defend their position about abortion up 'til birth rather than the limited version most americans want. so they're in a little bit of a pickle. >> going all in on

abortion. all right. pi piers, president biden was lecturing the brits about the economy. now your chance to respond. >> thank you for having me back. i don't know if you knew i was coming back or you agreed to me being back, but grateful to be here. what do they feel about president biden money muching his massive ice cream, hat tip. your denunciation of ice cream eating, no man should be seen eating a guy january particular one. add that to your brill nant assessment how inappropriate it was. it was inappropriate, what he was doing with the cone in his hand is revealing the wider truth about the economy. ice cream prices are up 13% because dairy farming costs have gone through the roof. why have they gone through the roof, why is milk so expensive? inflation. there's 8.2% inflation. that's rippling through
2:05 pm
everybody's lives, making everything expensive. i can see a president, the u.s. economy is strong as hell, start lecturing the british prime minister, he is right about one thing, she's utterly useless. by the time we if come over there, she may not be prime minister, on the factual side is correct. i made the point in my column, it would be like kim kardashian lecturing people on being talentless. she might be right but not the right person to deliver that message. i thought about that with biden. come on, look at your own backyard before you lecture the rest of the world about the economy. seems to be suffering from what i call acute delusion. looking out here, seeing the clear blue lovely sky on this beautiful sunny day in new york city, saying it is pouring with rain and pitch black. you would say no it's not, it is blue. i would say no, it is not. it is raining and pitch black. the man is completely nuts, lost his marbles.

that's where i am with, i am afraid, with leader of the free world. he is saying things that simply aren't true. when it comes to midterms, my prediction, the american people who know it is untrue because they're paying the extra costs every day are going to vote accordingly. >> yes, that's the thing, judge. people are seeing the consequences of his presidency. >> what piers says is exactly right, the american people know it is untrue. so if you think about what they tell us that we can verify or confirm, it is not all of a sudden this is the first time they're lying to us from washington. i want to talk about the abortion issue a second. i think it is so, so important. first of all, people think that women vote on one issue only and they don't. and it is about time that they recognized women as more than just women who are concerned about people concerned about abortion. they were so invested in this issue after the official decision was
2:07 pm
leaked by the supreme court that they allowed for the disruption for months, six weeks, seven weeks after the decision came out, of people going in front of the justice' home, attempted assassination of justice cavanaugh, and all of the outrage. that's how they were playing it out. so it wasn't just the ads, and they spent millions, you're right, ahead of time on ads on abortion, but they made the world, america at least, look at all of this lunacy that no one was buying into because the people were watching it had to go to the store and figure out how much money they had for dinner for the week for their kids and how far they could drive. so you know what, they may have peaked too early. not just that they peaked too early, i think the republicans are seeing and have a hand on what's going on. >> peaking is a medical condition. i extend my sympathy to democrats who think too

2:09 pm
had nothing to do with. remember, the market rallied in august off the summer, and gas prices came down off summer highs. once people get back in session in september, demand is up for gasoline. they're going back to work and watching tv and paying attention. and gas prices go up, mortgage rates skyrocket. people start focusing on failures of the democrats, and that's when things got bad. the elites have never paid any attention to inflation, and who's the guy, chief of staff, ron klain, he gave it away early last year when he said inflation is a high class problem. they've never understood how middle and lower class workers have to deal with high prices. they've been completely detached the entire time and they're going to pay for it. i actually, and i don't like nancy pelosi, i'm with nancy on this. you have to just continue to claim you're going to win this thing, right?
2:10 pm
the guy that leaked this thing to politico that says it is not looking too good for democrats, we peaked early, he should be brought outside and shot because that's off message. you have to stay on message. remember donald trump was like it will be a red wave. you have to go in to keep the troops motivated, so i understand what she's saying. piers, you and i don't agree on much, especially with weapons, but a man should never look an ice cream -- >> never. it is like talking about christmas before december. it should be a criminal offense. >> lock them up. that's what i say. finally, you know what a real high class problem is? the wokism. that's the high class problem. that's what obama said yesterday. up next, we know why the border is a disaster under biden. a top official is literally sleeping on the job. yes.
