a direct result of the trillions that they are printing and spending has allowed a new home to almost dropping the 350 the price of a home they can afford. there's real impact the people and they are upset. >> carley: oregon, crime crime is a major issue and president biden was in portland over the weekend and while on his way there, two people were shot in portland, no arrests were made, no suspects have been reported so far. what is it going to take to get crime under rule. >> oregonians want to fight crime. we are tired, we want to take back our streets. from the criminals in the liberal politicians who let this happen. oregon has said enough is enough and it's coming here, all the polling. oregon has become a welcome mat to homeless camps and all the

crime that goes with it. oregonians believe it or not are tired. they are leading republican, the governor's race here, three different congressional races. one up almost four points in the latest poll. i think oregonians are saying clear and loud commitment enough is enough and oregon. >> todd: your states are some of the highest in the country. $5.91, the average and oregon stands at $5.29. when you hear president fighting double down on abortion while saying over the weekend our economy is strong as hell, do you just smile at the gift he has given you and your fellow republicans in this midterm? >> they've been dastardly the way they've approached the energy issue and its dealing our impact daily, people who want to get a second job want to add more hours at work and so forth do an extra shift and they worry

if it's worth it because of the price of the commute, they are really wreaking havoc on people, particularly bad in california and they are playing some political tricks to try to lower it in time for the midterms but at the end of the day, your previous guest was right on the previous show, they are pushing people overnight towards electric vehicle with no regard for the financial pain in the distress they are causing them and people are not going to tolerate it. >> carley: might commit to that point, white house press secretary was recently asked when americans can start to see relief when it comes to inflation and her response was, well, sometimes next year, that's when pieces of the inflation reduction apple kicked in. but americans need relief now and you are a supply-chain consultant. so what is it going to take to get prices down? >> well, right away we look at

government spending, we don't have a tax problem. we have a spending problem in congress. we need to rein in that national debt. as a supplying pain experts the last 30 years, we are seeing a rise in transportation cost being passed directly to the consumers at every level. trucking costs have tripled. fedex and ups have announced their new 2023 rates and they are going up. the height increases that had ever. those costs are passed on to consumers. all transportation costs, those are being passed on the consumers beginning our country to be back energy independent is a big part of driving those supply chains down. >> carley: aligned on policy, not aligned on football. i'm pulling for the bruins been that's why i didn't ask you one single question. thank you very much. have a great weekend. i'll be rooting against you, mike. thank you. brian as well. as a feel-good story for you

look. i want to end this on a serious note. three square meals a day and unlimited snacks. when you think about the number of food insecure american citizens that -- we did that story last week where that young man was beating two tubes of ramen per day because he wanted his own kids and wife to eat. think about that. we are giving people who did something illegal, came here illegally. something is horribly wrong with the democrats and the left's priorities and it sat for our country. >> carley: some more news when it comes to the southern border in texas. agencies in over a pound of fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone tabs during a traffic stop. the woman accused of smuggling those pills had three active warrants for her arrest. texas dps has seized more than 333 million lethal doses of fentanyl governor greg abbott launched lone star blast.

the two big update to get to hear after hours of deliberating, a federal jury finds russian national igor danchenko not guilty on all four counts of making false statements to the fbi. >> we've known all along that mr. danchenko was innocent. we are happy now the american people know that at well. b-2 served served as a top informant for the fbi. the bureau paid him over 200,000 bucks during that time. prosecutors on special counsel john durham's team accused him of providing all information to the fbi when the agency was trying to verify the now debunked steele dossier. charges brought by john durham of the years long probe. the federal reserve is barreling towards its fourth consecutive .75% interest rate hike in november. digress, the first thing we are going to do nationwide abortion bill. you are struggling to feed your premature babies what goes through your mind as a mom and when you hear that? >> the only thing i can think of is the most important thing is feeding these babies and the next steps we need to take to ensure that does happen. that's all i can say on that one. >> todd: understood. 18% of powdered baby formula was out of stock on the month ending september 30th. that was a few weeks ago. think about that. 47 of adults, amber, make less than $75,000 a year say they have trouble finding formula. is this the latest example of the rich being able to buy their way out of problems while the middle class takes it on the chin once again? and this time with the most vulnerable of our society, literal babies? >> yeah. i'm pretty sure the middle class

bottles after a is the council member accuses city's democrat mayor accusing officers of not enforcing the law. democrat john fetterman and republican mehmet oz really heating up now with crime remaining the focal point of the oz campaign, the most recent poll showing fetterman at 48% and oz 46%. those polling numbers are within the margin of error which is 4.4% basically resulting in a tie. the numbers don't lie when it comes out of control crime in the streets of philly with armed robberies involving a gun up close to 50%. total violent crime up near 5%. victims of shootings are up just under 3% and shooting incidents of 1.34%. and with violent crime up nationwide, democrat candidates are distancing themselves from the biden administration and its policies. >> none of the democrats running want to be anywhere near him.

window sunday night. it's the third time's business has been vandalized in just the past two years. that owner in philadelphia joins us now. dave, good evening to you. so sorry for what you are going through but what your reaction when you found out your restaurant was vandalized again for the third time? >> good morning. thanks for having me. to help, you know something is not going to come of this. it's going to happen and you are going to pay for it and you're going to fix the damage and you're hopeful to get the police report filed at this stage. you really just feel like this is par for the course in the city of philadelphia at this point. >> carley: you don't have any faith that the people who vandalized your restaurant will get caught and arrested? >> we had an issue where somebody came into our vestibule and damaged some of the vestibule, we called, we waited six hours.

the police never arrived. that person got away. we have a broken window. it is just one of those things where the police are so understaffed, they have so many major crimes to deal with in the city. as we continue to watch this unfold, it seems like major crimes aren't being prosecuted much less these quality-of-life crimes affecting residentses, businesses. our homes, our properties, our employees. these are minor crimes in the state of philadelphia. >> carley: you have people throwing bricks through the windshield of police officers, squad cars. it's shocking video but also not surprising. i want to talk to you about the pennsylvania senate race. john fetterman. he's a big criminal justice reform guy. now he's trying to distance himself from all of those things he previously said yesterday. he said that defunding the police is absurd and should never -- she's never believed in it. are you buying that from john

fetterman? >> i dealt with john fetterman when all the restaurants were closed during covid and i spoke up at harrisburg with a lot of other restaurant leaders and we were out in front of the capitol building in harrisburg speaking about our business is being close and asking for help to reopen our businesses and treat small business owners like people instead of criminals. while we were delivering our speech, we are standing in front of fetterman's office where he's got a giant marijuana flag. in the middle of decriminalization of marijuana and getting more and more people out of jail. those may be topics we can all talk about but in the middle of a pandemic, john fetterman did not help a single small business. he did not come meet with any of us, didn't help promote or push forward any legislation to support small business owners. his objective remained, very

clear during all of covid, the objective was to legalize marijuana and get more people out of jail. all of a sudden he's saying that's not what he's about and that's exactly what he's about. he did nothing for small businesses during the pandemic. >> carley: the pot flag flying above your office is pretty telling about what your priorities are. and tomorrow the president is going to be heading to philadelphia to campaign for john fetterman. do you think that him being an phillies going to make a difference? >> it really hard because the philadelphia metro area continues to vote against its own survival. what we've seen happen in philadelphia, we seen violent crime skyrocket. quality-of-life really diminished. my friends on the moderate left and far left are scared of the city. so many friends on the left and far left move -- >> carley: there he goes. dave, we lost you for a little bit but i think we got you back. ten more seconds to complete

that is what it comes down to. you have a bunch of individuals who have educated themselves and they see what is going on. you see so many people leave one party and go to the other, why? they don't have that security. they come to this country to get x dough might get security. and those who have truly abandoned them and they see the lawlessness. they don't want that same lawlessness here. that is what you are getting with a lot of these voters. educated, but they are tired of people looking at them as just crop workers, dishwashers and going on press conferences and calling them breakfast tacos. these people are a lot more than that an educated themselves the right way. that is why they are backing up candidates that will see their future. >> todd: li lydia, the highest amount of latino voters at 21%. when you speak to the fellow latinos, are they the same vote as you and voting for laxalt?
