costing about 60000 hospitalizations and children every year. for every three children there hospitalized with covid we are seeing up to 30 hospitalized with rsv but in some areas of the country hospitals are considering calling for the national guard and calling on fema to help build hospital fields tensed outside the hospitals to accommodate all of these children who are coming in and respiratory distress. it's very important we recognize early signs were it's important we understand what to do to help minimize spread of this virus. it's very simple. we want to do is make sure you cover your mouth if you are coughing if you are sneezing, keep your hands washed and cleaned. make sure you are not touching her eyes, your nose, your mouth make sure you are not coming into close contact with someone who might have the sniffles who might have a cold. rsv can impact anyone it can affect anyone. her children can be life-threatening. we want to make sure we are careful if we stay away from

one. but the problem is what you bring home in that paycheck just does not go far enough for a lot of americans to cover all the bills. it looked at this summer at like inflation is turning a corner. gas prices were coming down, airfares, hotel prices, a lot of prices were raising. but it's turning in another direction right now. it hasn't improved. and that is a real problem for the democratic party going into these midterms. it has potential to get worse because gas prices since were talking about the global scene, saudi arabia poked the united states in the eye to when gasoline supply. there it just a lot not going in the favor of getting this inflation problem under control. arthel: this to be the first administration the saudi arabian government and worked out. started out ping-pong and you're jumping off eric support early about shooting pain, honestly everything you laid out in terms of the problems that could be

had for our economy sounds like a democratic list of why they are having trouble kind of getting this economy strong but getting the inflation down as quickly as they would like. >> the whole issue. not only for democrats but for the financial markets, stock prices have been really volatile and down the last couple of months. a lot of americans are concerned about their stock portfolios. interest rates are going up. it's harder to finance a new home if you want to buy one. this all comes back to the inflation story. it looked this summer like inflation was settling down a little bit. and it has just turned in the wrong direction over the last couple of months. really, to solve a lot of problems you've got to get the inflation problem under control. >> absolutely. let me jump in for the sake of time at john. got a limited amount of time (let's go to the other side. senator ted cruz has inflation is caused by president biden's

policies. president biden insist the republicans had no plan to reduce inflation. so what is the gop proposal to reduce inflation? >> it gop is a conservative party. conservatives and uk just try to cut taxes in the market just totally rejected that. so this political ping-pong and i'm not sure how far gets you. president trump put in jay powell as the fed chairman. he is the guy a cut interest rates so much kind of help to cause this inflation problem. there is just a lot underneath that question. what we need is somewhat slower economic growth. and we need these global supply chains to get back under con control. and there's been a lot of bad luck. everybody needs a little bit of luck right now too. arthel: if the government succeeds, we succeed as a country, whoever's in charge. but you did not answer, there was no gop plan. i'm just saying let me let me do

this final question for you because according to kiplinger economists predicting inflation should drop to 3.5% by the end of next year. so if that does happen, moving ahead and looking forward how might that impact the presidential election in 2024? >> that is the expectation is inflation is going to come down and next year. a lot of people are making that argument. the problem is a lot of people have been saying that for the last two years and it has not happened. you have to have a little bit of skepticism. hopefully fingers crossed it happens. i will say one of the thing though because you are pressing about the gop plan i did say the uk tried to cut taxes. that was rejected by the market. i think all the foremost for solving this problem are not necessary going to work with the gop responses let's cut taxes we just saw in the uk they try that and the prime minister was in power for about four weeks. arthel: 44 days i was actually

joins us now. welcome to fox news channel. >> thank you for having me. >> good to see you. how can you reassure the people about the integrity and credibility of the election is coming up? >> well, you know we have time-tested security procedures in place here in michigan and all around the country. elections are decentralized in the states they run by republican democratic and independent clerks and nearly 1500 countries all across the state. we are committed to transparency, we are committed to ensuring if there's any type of wrongdoing that accountability and consequences are met. in every single eligible citizen can vote and only valid bouts are counted. we encourage everyone to keep asking questions for you to know we are committed to transparency but to look at facts and evidence and allow that to determine how we move forward as opposed to hyperbole and dispersions that are not rooted in facts or evidence. before some people watching were and are not going to buy this or they can stuff the ballot box,
