the cost of living nancy pelosi says. can you tell me the difference. inflation higher prices. cost of living goes up with higher prices. they are the same thing. now, inflation is obvious to everyone. and, yet, you have got this dreadful messaging coming from the administration. nancy pelosi is trying to change the subject. the president says the economy is strong. and he is going to beat inflation with his anti-inflation act. they are defying reality. and reality is that inflation is obvious to absolutely everyone. every single day. so is the cause of this inflation. we have abandoned our energy independence on day one of this administration. and then we spent trillions overstimulating the economy and here we have got inflation. >> brian: what did we do to make it worse? inflation wasn't our idea. why are we able to avoid it for 30 years? james clyburn made it clear when he made this statement. all of this concern about the rising cost and all of this knew

this would be the case when you put in place this recovery program. any time you put more money into the economy, prices tend to rise. 1.9 trillion. the infrastructure bill and then the last mini build back better plan that they jammed down everyone's throats at the end seemingly saying well, at least we are cutting the deficit. i thought the greatest analogy is the president keeps saying looks at the jobs, right? look at the labor participation. doesn't want to say that well, i cut the deficit. they said if you go by the president's theory on cutting the deficit it would make harry truman the greatest deficit cutter ever because world war ii ended. pandemic he coulded of course you spent less. half the dessit just by doing that overall spending has gone through the roof. and, yeah, you could look at western europe and say they are having problems. when are we taking mostly slows socialistic bellwether. japan is lower, china is lower.

dobbs decision it's oh, maybe nancy pelosi could actually hang on to her job as speaker. but now even punch bowl yesterday the headline was red tsunami because suddenly they are talking -- keep in mind, do you trust the polls? i trust them up to a point but they have been wrong so many times. when you look at motivation right now who is more motivated, republicans are at 6 #%. and democrats are at 59%. it's 5% according to a monmouth poll which means if it's 5%. probably higher than that who is going to show up two weeks and one day from tomorrow? rather, two weeks from tomorrow. well, right now it, looks like republicans are going to do a really good job if you believe the polls. >> ainsley: we are going to have congressman jim jordan and kari lake. her opponent refuses to debate. we will talk to her about that. >> steve: a lot of that going

thank you, carley. >> ainsley: wanted to take a moment pay tribute to my mother and there she is on the right in her wheelchair. mom had a stroke five years ago as many you know. dad called us probably a week ago and said i think y'all need to come home. your momma is not doing well. there she is holding third child baby barn. she loved holding him. aunt's house in rock hill south carolina. she was the epitome of a southern woman there she is at our church. gosh, what happened at church that day? this is the church i go to here in new york. and one of her -- my nephew one of her grandchildren on her left side and my daughter on her right. she was beautiful in every way. she loved. she was chef. one of hers rests pays in your book. cindy with my mom. we celebrated her 70th birthday and just threw a big bash for

her. she loves beach music so we hired a band in the bang ground so we weren't sure how long she would be with us. this is my sister-in-law on the left. my mom's sister lynn. next to darcy and then my aunt linda she was married to my dad's brother who passed away from cancer holding my brother hayden my sister and beautiful mother and me. i'm so grateful we took these pictures. if you have the ability to hire a recover from, do it. it is just so worth it because these are cherished now. she went to the plaza. she loved martinis. we had a martini there. >> steve: we have a lot in common. >> ainsley: here is my mom a teacher for 33 years. reading to my sister. we all -- the moms had matching that p&a jam mass and all the kids red and white street stripe. that was at christmas we rented a house. last time i saw her we waved goodbye that was in december and had the february 1st. so proud of all of the children.

i obviously here at fox. she loved watching us every single morning. >> steve: she could keep an eye on you. >> ainsley: she would know when i took a day off where are you? she was wonderful. and then my little brother so successful and lives in hometown with his wife darcy and they have three boys. so excited that christmas morning when they showed her the ultrasound picture and she found out they were having twins. and so she always wanted twins. i always wanted twins and then when my brother had them we were just elated. we had to tell the kids on -- we waited until sunday to tell them. at the funeral home making arrangements. saturday night sitting at the counter eating dinner. what do you think it's going to be like at christmas time june is his birthday in heaven. gram said there are going to be a lot of balloons. my daughter said can we pick up the phone and call her in heaven they were really sweet. the little baby there is my mom and dad. little banks wasn't born yet but my dad holding mcclain and

holding hayden. amazing recover from we would hire. he does beautiful work. these are the pictures you always see. we are grateful for those. she had diabetes. diagnosed at 39. then she had a stroke. she was on dialysis. gallbladder issues. in and out of the hospital. she lived at home. my dad and her were married 50 years. last five years he and wonderful nurse maggie took great care of my mom. allowed my dad some peace. my dad got to the point breaking point. maggie said i have got. this you go play golf. enjoy some time with your friends. my sister and i were coming home every weekend first year every other second year. she is at peace. i say all of that maybe wondering how can i come to work today. mom would have wanted me to. my sister is going back to school tomorrow to teach her little kids. we are grateful we know her faith was strong. we know where she is. she is with jesus. she loved the lord and taught all of us about jesus and took us to church every single sunday. dad was kind of not the governor

but we called him the governor. he knows everybody in south carolina. is he so well loved. mom was kind of the one who was the support system for our family. and she cooked kinner for us every night. she was a school teacher. she would come home late run around with our errands and have food on the table for my dad. so she just was a servant. she served everybody in her community. she had a lot of friends. she loved playing bridge and shanghai and involved in the junior league. just a force. she -- what i love most about her she let ainsley be ainsley. we were a little scared about my dad because he is the disciplinarian. a wonderful guy he was tough. mom is the one we would go to if we needed a hug or something soft said. >> steve: the viewers got to meet your mom and dad. >> ainsley: they did. here is a clip just when i got the job at "fox & friends." excuse me, i had just gotten baby hayden. i delivered her in november. got the job in december. and started at the end of january or beginning of february. so mom came on to cook for

cooking with friends. her p pa minute toe cheese. >> what a wonderful year. and having this little baby and having ainsley here and y'all have been so kind to her. and done so much. and yesterday just one thing after another. >> ainsley: it's been fun. >> people have been so kind thank you all. >> nervous to talk on camera. she did not like to talk in public. >> ainsley: she is wonderful. >> she did get the see to the book come out. so many text messages from people saying i'm glad she saw. i wrote this book so glad you were born that's what she would say to us on our birthdays. she was proud of us. she wasn't able to talk. she lost her voice after the stroke whether a i'm so excitedd about her voice will live on. she taught 4 and 5-year-olds. reading she read to us every night. avid reader herself. her message will be carried on in the lives of people all

kids. what most concerns you? 88% say inflation. 79% say what is taught in schools. the curriculum. 78% abortion policy. 76% political division. 74% higher crime. most of those, they swing the republican's direction with 15 days left. that is why axios is saying that a tsunami could be reprimed. >> i think a tsunami is coming. i think it's going to be huge. when people learn that every single democrat in the house voted for the transgender supremacy act and that all of the democratic senators up for re-election, every one of them co-sponsored the transgender supremacy act in the senate and they look at the details of that bill. they realize it would guarantee any boy who decided to declare he was a girl could go into the girl's locker room. it would guarantee that students could be tutored by their school without telling their parents. it would place transgender rights above religious liberty.
