with those in pennsylvania. vehicle if he had a magic wand to do anything he wanted to see his goal would be to release metaverse from life in prison, releasing murderers without asking the families what they think and often times voting against the other members of the parole board given other democrats is not aligned with the values of pennsylvanians. that's the position he has ta taken. >> here in new york governor kathy hochul holds a six-point advantage over republican challenger lee lee zeldin. the incumbent's lead is narrowing. crime will be a major talking point tonight. zelda and says governor hochul is starting to speak about the state crime crisis after ducking the issue for months now. >> is absolutely driven by politics. losing her lead in the polls, the most recent poll that came out on friday actually show that we are starting to pull ahead of her. she has decided because she wants to save kathy hochul that she wants to talk about crime.
1:03 am
we've been talking about crime because we've been talking about wanting to save the state. >> in michigan polls show republican challenger to dixon within four points of governor gretchen whitmer there as they prepare to take that debate stage, dixon pointing out how americans are tired of the left you on education. >> t the factor the matter is ty do not want to talk about these radical positions on and gender school sex and gender in school. republican states are focused on reading, writing, math. they are making sure they have gas tax holidays and they are making sure they have money back in the pockets of their people. >> at michigan governor's race is tightening commode republicans are more concerned about fetterman's chances. will campaign on his behalf november 5th.

>> todd: the country is united on is the rub locations are better suited to handle. listen. >> the democrats are being killed on crime, border, inflation. parents across the country livid over the identity politicking. the media knows november is going to be a bloodbath so they are begging for other countries to interfere in our elections. >> the threats to our elections in two and a half weeks are so pervasive and they are so dire and they include violence. do you think it's time to ask for friends and allies to come over and help us monitor our elections. we used to do that in other burgeoning and threa threatened democracies. >> the country united around these issues are against the democratic party and is the biggest threat the faces of her charlie crist and their only debate last night. repeatedly pressed desantis

with steve bobo. seems like those two facts aren't lining up. google is being accused of manipulating its search results to work against republicans running in major senate races across the country. >> carley: the media research center finding 10 out of 12 republican campaign websites the senate races got significantly lower search results compared to their democrat opponents. several of those republican candidates did not have the camping sites appear on the first page while eight democrats had their websites among the top results. >> todd: kentucky oversight committee james culbert is here to react. congressman, his big tech which is obviously controlled by the left and so many on the left running it showing its desperation over this fear, on their side feared, red tsunami? >> they certainly are and this is a problem we had with big tech the past two years. this is going to have to be a priority in the republican
1:08 am
majority. we'll have to hold big tech accountable for their political bias. something that's not healthy for a democracy. big tech enjoys many productions like liability protection. this is something that needs to be on the table. i do not like getting involved in over regulating any industry but this is an industry that clearly has shown its bias, doing anything and everything the sensor conservatives and doing everything in their ability to try and promote the candidacies of liberals and to suppress stories that would harm liberals. this has to stop and this has to be a priority or a republican majority. >> carley: google responded to these allegations telling fox news, while we cannot is fun to specific claims but there is no validity whatsoever to the political bias on google search as third parties have found political ideology is not a factor in our search ranking system. in 2016 there was leaked footage of all the tech company executives responding to donald trump's win and some of

them were crying and talking about how horrific the election results were. fast forward to today and now there is this investigation to weather the biden in the administration colluded with tech companies that sensor covid-19 so how do we get back in playing field here? how do big back to an even playing field here. >> republicans have responded including correspondence between the biden administration and big tech companies on a whole host of issues and i believe that once the election returns are in the republicans get the majority and people like jim jordan and myself get the gavel on judiciary and oversight, i think we are going to start the information come in. but one thing i'm optimistic about was the interview with zuckerberg when he admitted when the fbi hinted to him that they didn't need to show any forthcoming stories about hunter

biden because there was russian disinformation. i think you are going to see more big tech executives when it really comes crunch time, i think they are going to remember, we believe the democratic national committee has been directly involved in big tax effort to center consecutive conservatives and will find out the republican majority. >> todd: a shocking new report has i'll lack of respect for president biden. "the wall street journal" reporting the saudi crown prince box president biden in private making fun of the presidents gaps and questioning his mental acuity according to officials in the saudi government. hmuch preferred former president prest donald trump. we've raised the issues of forward leaders thinking president biden quite frankly is a joke.
1:11 am
what does this mean for our already tense relationship with the saudis and for gas prices? >> it's not good especially in joe biden's america, with joe biden's energy policy we become less energy independent in america and more dependent on the middle east. now he found out that the thing we've all known all along, the middle east leaders have no respect for joe biden, that probably started with the debacle in afghanistan and it has carried over when they see the american energy policy, i'm sure they are sitting back in addition to joe biden's gaps just laughing in just amazement that the united states which has the ability and potential to be energy independent, having to come to opec and beg for more oil, it makes no sense. the saudis are business people. despite all their fault, they are business people, and they have no respect for this president, not only his policies but his performance and we've
1:12 am
all seen joe biden on the international stage and he's not an impressive president. he doesn't command the respect. we have gone backwards on the international stage between the trump administration and the biden administration and the house and senate in january we can offset the lack of respect we have on the international stage with a republican majority that is strong and credible. >> carley: there is a foreign policy aspect of this conversation and there is the significant gaps president has made on the campaign trail recently. take a listen to some of them. watch this. >> it was kamala's birthday. that's why i asked president harris to travel to the region last august. >> president harris and i stood in the united states capital. >> the president says he intends to run in 2024 but recognizes that his age is a factor,
1:13 am
congressman. >> i think there are a lot of factors for joe biden from running, his age, the results of the midterm elections in two weeks. but also his son. this investigation is only going to ramp up in the republican majority. there are a lot of weapons that joe biden is going to have the answer with respect to his son and his brother's influence peddling happening the past decade. all of this together, i put the odds of joe biden seeking the democrat nomination very, very low. problem for the democrats is they don't have it like the republicans but whether or not donald trump run for reelection in 2024, we have a deep bench. we have had at least potential republicans that can easily beat any democrat in the field in 2024. the future of the democrat party is not right. that future is going to be on full display on the american people go to the polls in dr droves. >> carley: thank you for joining us this morning.
1:14 am
>> thank you for having me. >> carley: trying to turn the tables on republicans on his predecessor. >> todd: kevin corke has all the details. >> the reason for the economic woes continues to expand at least according to the bite the biden white house which various times blamed covid-19, russia, covid-19, greedy oil companies, racism, and now they say the economy is being threatened by mega maga trickle down. >> americans are doubling down on the mega maga >> critics point to the fact that nearly all americans in this particular survey are extremely worried about inflation, to say inflation right now.
1:15 am
gas prices, food prices, home heating, energy. you get the picture. speaking of right now, the president wants you to know that right now that you can apply for debt relief that he pushed over the finish line. >> it's passed. it's in effect. >> that's not true. he kind of botch to that. had to do a little cleanup on aisle five. "the president was referring to the inflation reductive act which reduce the deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars creating rooms for other crucial packages. no republicans voted in the act in the house or the senate with a single tie-breaking vote by vice president harris. he confused that. on capitol hill, biden's mistake, misstatement, or misstep was not lost on texas senator ted cruz and knew there was the claim that the g.o.p.
1:16 am
will make the economy worse. >> joe biden is a particular bad liar. doesn't have any hooks to reality so he stands up and says, it's democrats that are physically responsible. nobody who has not been in an lsd induced, believes that. >> creative take by ted cruz. by the way, also said his remark at the dnc that there'd be an 11th hour turnaround in the polls and democrats would surprise you on midterm election day. we'll have to see. back to you. t>> todd: kevin corke, thank you. tweeting a photo of the soon to be father bonding with the sons saturday. tweeting "my family's american

1:24 am
day and the victim was heading to school. >> todd: absolutely sickening as is this. criminal behind bars for allegedly pushing a victim. serving nearly 20 years in prison for attempted murder and robbery. his family, his family calling him a menace and he's been arrested more than two dozen times. relatives telling "the new york post," they have a sign banning him from his apartment complex when he stole money from a cousin. it says, if you see a brown's guy sleeping in the hallway, please call the police. he is trespassing. if this guy's own family knows he's a major problem, why is the out on the streets, why isn't he getting mental health somewhere kept away from the general public? this guy did 20 years for attempted further. houses system not have eyes on him 24/7?
1:25 am
>> it says a taking crime bond and that's exactly what this is. 90% of these times crimes arepredictable. did 20 years in prison for attempted murder and on top of that he was arrested over 24 times. tell me how that makes sense where a guy does 20 years were trying to kill somebody and on top of that gets arrested over two dozen times. what do you think is going to happen? lee zeldin was on with bret baier and here's his plan for day one, he's firing alvin bragg, says he is going to declare a crime emergency in new york and suspend the cashless bail and forced legislature to come to the table. do you know how much safer new york city would be? governor kathy hochul is talking about the perception of crime being that there is a few high-profile cases but over all new york city is safe. ask the guy who was just shoved off the subway at platform if
1:26 am
you feel safe. >> todd: to your point on lee zeldin here, there's a big debate as well between a lee zeldin upset of kathy hochul higher and higher because no one regardless of political party wants to live in a world like this. in order to win new york, zeldin has win democrats. it looks like more and more he will because everybody is sick and tired of this. nobody wants to go to the subway, be walking down the platform, be blindsided by a lunatic. nobody in the right mind who would vote for that save for a lunatic. he comes up from behind, there's no way peripheral vision wise he can see the attacker. that's sick. >> carley: in this particular case it's not like this climbing out of the blue. this guy had red flags all over the place. his cousin said that there was something wrong with him. needs to be medicated. it attacked a mailman.
1:27 am
so much so the guy changed his route and the family couldn't get mail in more than a month. fixing crime is not rocket science. new york city was the safest big city for a very long time because of stop, question, brisk, the anti-crime unit. those things went away because people said they weren't fair to suspected victims and look where we are today. what i think is so interesting is there was much more of an energized movement to defend suspected criminals than there are to defend victim and police officers. where are the protest in the street over this? maybe we'll see on election day that people will take their to the ballot box and boat governor lee zeldin in. but the way crime is right now, something major has to change. >> todd: it's not perception. it's reality. >> a pennsylvania mother who lost her daughter to fentanyl has a message for john fetterman ahead of tonight's debate. >> the criminal who brought this

record. >> this new challenge driven by people fleeing falling regimes and economic collapse. as you know in venezuela, nicaragua, cuba, it's impacting the entire western hemisphere. >> carley: revealing 90 people on terror watch list have been arrested this fiscal year. what drupal had been upended the last years combined. gubernatorial candidate terry lake telling voters her opponent katie hobbs ducking a debate because she cannot comprehend the democrat's destructive policies. it's because she's afraid to defend dead and the public policies. how do you defend wanting an open border when you have so many coming across that they can kill every man, woman, country. how do you defend your voting record when you voted nearly 90% of the time against small errors in a business is when you had a chance to help them.
1:35 am
>> carley: blake masters accusing his rival of towing the democrat party line. >> todd: he >> he promised he would be some kind of moderate. he got to d.c., he completely surrendered his voting record to chuck schumer and he's just a rubber stamp on the failed to be. >> carley: says republicans must ride the national conversation took two weeks to election day. >> todd: dr. oz and john fetterman getting set to face off in there one and only debate tonight. crime just one major issue on the table. leslie holt is a pennsylvania mother who lost her daughter to a fentanyl overdose and she joins me now. goes without saying we are so sorry for your loss. why are you speaking out against john fetterman? >> good morning, todd. thank you so much for having me. this is really not a message je just for john fetterman. what i'm speaking to are the
1:36 am
moms, the families who have lost their kids to fentanyl poisoning. and anyone regardless of whether it's john fetterman or any other politician who is running, they have to realize that victims' rights, my rights as a parent, my daughter's right to be alive is something that you can just likely push away and say we are going to change... any kind of laws and just make it so that more criminals get out of jail easier! the time, the energy, the resources that go into prosecuting this type of crime
1:37 am
is considerable. just for john fetterman to say, well, we are going to let everyone -- okay, that's an exaggeration. we are going to make it easier for people who take other peoples 'lives to get out of jail. that's unacceptable. i don't care if he misspoke or... but... >> todd: i don't think he misspoke. because he has praised the progressive crime policies of philadelphia, pa, larry krasner and his conviction integrity unit that works to free inmates. he tweeted the following. "d.a. larry krasner's unwavering commitment to justice reform was soundly soundly affirmed with a true mandate. his efforts have literally saved the innocent from dying in prison. his conviction integrity unit model should be mandatory in all of pennsylvania's 67 counties." how about the innocent like your daughter dying at the hands of a drug dealer who forced fentanyl on her when she thought she was
1:38 am
getting something else and led to her death. why should that person get to live a life free and freedom when your daughter is dead? >> it's totally outrageous that we have to have this discussion because it is so hard, as i said, to prosecute these cases and what we as families go through, and i think i'm talking for other parents throughout the country. what we go through to get a murderer behind bars is excruciating, along with the pain that we are already experiencing. so i think, as i said, for john fetterman or any politician at this point, to say to families across the country that we need to let more people out --
1:39 am
>> todd: 100%. >> carley: it's so insulting and it's also on his part immature and it's naive thi thinking. >> todd: let me get one thing in here. when you talk to your fellow voters regardless of their voters, is crime their number one issue in light of john fetterman's -- we shouldn't call it weak. in light of his no crime stands? >> when i do talk to other people, yes. of course. crime is coming now into our little -- our beautiful... idyllic county. chester county. there is... crime is absolutely ramping up and i cannot tell you how many fentanyl deaths, the even more deadly analogs that come along... they are flooding the streets.
1:40 am
to be able to protect their families, criminals out on the street, that's going to make it harder. >> todd: every time i drive through, i see a lot of signs, the soft on crime policies we are seeing. leslie holt, thank you very m much. >> t>> carley: could have major implications on the election. >> do you think states have a right to ban gender affirming health care? >> as a moral question and a legal question, i just think it's wrong. it's wrong. >> carley: dr. janetten nesheiwat is here next.

court documents reveal how the cdc coordinated with social media giants like facebook and twitter to counter online content like the covid langley theory. >> carley: biden supports transgender >> i don't think any state or anybody should have the right to do that. as a moral question and the legal question. i think it's just wrong. they try to block you from being able to access certain medicines, being able to exit certain procedures and so on. no state should be able to do that in my opinion. >> carley: fox news medical contributor joins me now. dr. nash what you make about that fromth? >> good morning, carley. perhaps you may not understand what gender do for you is and that is where there is a mismatch between a way a person feels and the gender a doctor assigned to that person at
1:47 am
birth. it's very important, carley, we get this right and the reason is when it comes to children, two-thirds are happy with their gender post puberty. but yet we want to allow children to undergo extreme surgeries and drugs and hormones and medications. that's not the first step when it comes to gender affirming care. what i do with my patients in the appropriate thing to do is number one psychotherapy, counseling. you don't jump right from 0 to 60 overnight. that's inappropriate. especially when there is a high risk of depression and suicide in these young children. it's best to wait until they get older. for example, with this tiktok star dylan mulvaney, he's 25 years old. he can do whatever he wants. he's an adult. when it comes to children we want to protect them. so denouncing that republicans in certain states want to ban these surgeries, that's denouncing you want to protect children. when it comes to children, the
1:48 am
prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain that helps make rational decisions, it's not fully formed until you are about 21. we have to step in and protect them. that's the right thing to do. >> carley: some cases where kids go on hormone blockers when they are young, they made a mistake. how much damage can that due to a person who does want to ultimately detransition? >> you are absolutely right, carley. there are some potentially irreversible side effects. bone damage and happen. we see infertility and dysfunction. there is a very high suicide rate. anxiety, depression, suicide can occur. you have to take a look at the social, emotional, mental impact a child will go through during school as they are growing for the impact that can have on them. it is a very in-depth, extreme process and you shouldn't jump again straight from "i think i want to be a male or female" to
1:49 am
"let's have surgery." it's got to be a slow process. for a small number of people, it may be necessary. we ought to do good by our kids and wait till they hit puberty because that's when they have a better understanding of their bodies, no who they are, and again most of them, the majority of them are happy after they hit puberty with the way that god made them. >> carley: children's hospitals are apparently grappling with a nationwide surge of rsv infections. what is this and how widespread is it? >> so, carley, what we are seeing is rsv. it's a virus, it stands for rep respiratory such as a it can bedangerous under the ag. cause inflammation in the lungs, infections in their lungs like pneumonia. lots of children it's a cough or runny nose. some kids will have wheezing, shortness of breath, will require possible hospitalization
1:50 am
to have oxygen and also fluids. but the problem is it's the cold winter season and the hospitals are overwhelmed with these little kids and you take into consideration we are also dealing with the flu and covid. it's a huge influx of these young little kids who are suffering with rsv. it easily treatable. but when you don't have enough doctors and when there is a shortage of beds, that's when it becomes a problem for the good news, carley, we can help prevent and minimize and spread to our kids by simple basics. hand washing. no close contact with others who might have a cold or snapple. don't let anyone outside the family kiss your little ones or touch the face of your child. and you want to clean and disinfect common areas for viruses like rsv can live on surfaces or a few hours. >> carley: the best news you say is it's easily treatable so i'm sure many parents will be
1:51 am
grateful for that message as well. thank you for joining us. >> thank you, carley. >> carley: americans are begging for relief from inflation and here's how the democrats are answering them. >> we have to change that subject. inflation is a global phen phenomenon. >> simply does not add up. >> our parents and business owners happy with that response? will talk to business owners say they are happy with the change in leadership. they are next.

american dream, jamaica, what do you worry about, death of democracy, which left seems to think is something they need to worry about and campaigning on or what do you worry about, that or the death of the american dream? >> honestly, death of the american dream, i have three children that i don't want to see in worse conditions than i'm in right now, which is where we're headed. >> todd: there is a big election in two weeks, we'll see if that changes. thank you, next hour of "fox and friends first" begins right now. >> carley: it is debate night in pennsylvania, just two weeks from the midterm election, polls show toss-up between john fetterman and dr. mehmet oz and the two senate candidates square off for fi
