dollars to china. >> you should be careful where all of your dimes go if gretchen whitmer is in charge because you just offered $715 million of your taxpayer dollars to a chinese corporation to come to the state of michigan. battery plants going outside of michigan unless they are owned by the chinese and have strong ties to the chinese communist party. >> republican getting its closing the upsets. going back to pennsylvania, if john fetterman's goal was to alleviate concerns about his health, this debate was not it. this debate does more to damage the campaign then if he had not agreed to debate at all. i'm not even sure it was entirely just the auditory issues but didn't seem he had a real grasp on basis topics or he

was outside the main team. it's not just his health concerns. it also concerns that he is too extreme. on answers regarding fracking and allowing abortion up to 38 weeks, his record on crime, he didn't provide any clarity at all. and we are now two weeks until the midterms. your goal is to sway on sway undecided voters right now and i can't imagine there are many suede after that performance from fetterman last night. the one you took the dr. oz approach focusing on the issues but i'll take the john fetterman approach and address the elephant in the room for it not even most partisan democrat can spin that for john fetterman. if you can watch what happens last night on that debate stage and still decide that fetterman is going to get your vote, that's a sad reflection of the partisanship that we currently have in our country. at some point you need to put country over party when in a chamber where speech and debate is so vital like the senate, you cannot have an individual like john fetterman who can no longer

speak nor debate. look at the betting lines. big money being placed on dr. oz to win following the debate. again, that's just one indicator but it shows how vegas is thinking. i will go back to one other thing. it is said that people put fetterman in this position. i don't blame fetterman. i blame his handlers. i blame the democratic party in pennsylvania. this is cruel to do to another human being. it's clear why they are hiding his medical records, it's because of exactly just that. >> carley: didn't answer the question if he was going to release his medical records but he said that being transparent to him is showing up to this debate at all. i am sure there's a lot of people saying that we'd actually love to see a little more about where you stand from a health standpoint, just some reaction from the media, "axios"'s headline, it is "fetterman's painful debate," showing

"fetterman struggles after tv debate with oz." why the hell did fetterman agree to this question mike this will obviously raise more questions than answers about john's help, and senator pat toomey whe both running to replace said it's sad to see john fetterman struggling so much. you should take more time to allow him stuff to fully recover. >> todd: what's the impact on this? "the wall street journal" editorial board asks a very interesting question. is the fetterman-oz debate too late, half of the mail-in ballots have already been cast and returned, roughly 10% of the vote could already be cast for mr. fetterman or mr. oz before the public even has a chance to see them mix it up on tv. that's a very interesting point and if you hear a lot of the democrats or independentses who are noncommittal prior to yesterday, a lot of them said there is no way i could vote for john fetterman.

but what if they cast their ballots prior to the debate? they already locked in john fetterman. you can't go back and that has major invocations not just for the senate race but for our country. >> carley: the fracking moment alone was really bad for john fetterman pray that should be an automatic answer no matter what. he said he didn't support fracking and now he says that he does. the major stumbled from him at a time when there is oil and gas issues, there are issues with the economy. i thought it was not a he was able to answer really tell questions on the gun-control bill that passed. he was asked if he would support it and he said, you know, there are parts of it i really do like, but i'd improve other parts on abortion. i'd never support a federal ban on anything and said if i'm senator i'm not going anywhere. fetterman try to dig him that he is wealthy and out of touch and doctor's really needed that bite saying, you know what,

saying here unfortunately has a really negative effect on our democracy. essential to the survival of our democracy is that we the people as voters have faith in the integrity of these elections. those in a position of power in both parties have a responsibility to vet those concerns and to increase peoples' trust in the system. >> that's not what's happening so much right now especially if you just heard secretary clinton say what she said and others have said similar things too. left and right having an issue with how things are going. speaking of left and right as you take a look at the fox news power rankings, the g.o.p. still with a bit of an edge over in the senate. although we expect it'd be a runoff between misters warnock and walker, that could be the pivotal race there. as for the g.o.p. advantage in the house, pretty solid, the numbers showing a pretty clear advantage as we look ahead.

a michigan voter, all three join me now. let's go around the horn and get reaction to the debate in your state. mark, let's begin with you. >> hi, todd. i got to tell you, it was very difficult to watch. john fetterman clearly presented that he's not physically capable of serving in the u.s. senate. you know, i'm a registered independent. and generally these debates are not for the ideologues. they are for the people somewhere in the middle and really want to hear from the candidates. i do not know how anybody in their right mind who are in the middle, like me, could possibly vote for john fetterman. it was unbelievable. i feel sorry for him, that his campaign and his family put him in that position. it was just... it was really, really difficult to watch. >> todd: your entire answer

mine. inflation, economy, gas and grocery, parental rights. retching whitmer was largely defensive and i think that came across to the entire debate. she was pretty dismissive in some ways of tudor dixon and the question that a lot of voters have about her record. >> todd: whitmer really wanted to make this debate about abortion. is that what the men and women you associate with, your friends, neighbors, family, is that what they are talking about their number one issue two weeks before the election? >> largely aids inflation and the economy. that said, the democratic governors association and the gretchen whitmer campaign has spent about $25 million in advertisements and most of it is focused on abortion. the last question last night was proposal three which is the most radical extreme proposal facing voters anywhere in the country. it supported by gretchen whitmer. it'd create a completely unregulated unrestricted right

smuggled into the united states, i'm told, through the southern border, the same routes that traditional amphetamine and heroin has been coming into america. >> this is something that if you touch or breathe the dust of, it could kill you. especially if you are a little. are you worried about rainbow fentanyl getting into the hands of kids and what should parents know about this? >> absolutely. if they see anything that doesn't look legit i get rid of the whole bag of candy and notify your local law enforcement. if they do see any loose powder, don't touch it, try not to breathe it. it can get into your lungs and that way it'll get into your bloodstream and it can definitely cause horrific problems. >> carley: why make it look like candy or put it in candy boxes? is this a way for drug dealers to hide what they are doing or directly trying to market the stuff the kids? >> i don't know appeared i hope they are not trying to market to kids. making counterfeit pills is just

what you mentioned earlier was interesting, 18 terms. nancy pelosi has been around a long time, to give you an idea, the day i was born was the day she was married. >> todd: wow. >> i think and -- i mean, i think it is time for people to look a different direction and i think they are. >> carley: congratulations for you getting born and married on that day. you are running in deep blue san francisco, what sort of traction are you seeing right now? >> i'm seeing people frustrated, this city has been seen as the left bastion, left stronghold, but yet recalled district attorney, recalled school board members, deeply frustrating and facing economic challenges. we have lowest rate of return to office in the country of any large city, that will have

dramatic impacts on property taxes and the city's ability to run. this is really deeply frustrated city, we're starting to see movement in republican registration in san francisco and a move that really is clammering for a change in leadership from the school board up to the highest offices in the city. >> todd: john, what do san francisco democrats tell you about nancy pelosi? are they done with her? >> yeah, well, i mean, i think, you know, she's done so much for the city, i think what they are frustrated is money she is bringing in from wash ush wa, which she boasts about is subsidizing the problems we're seeing. she is throwing money at issues like homelessness and other issues, we see more homelessness and crime and all the things san francisco is famous for. nancy pelosi's efforts are making things worse and causing san francisco to suffer more, there is a feel it is time for
