[laughter] >> jesse: and debates are really your last chance to deliver that knockout blow. >> are you better off than you were four years ago? is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago? is america as respected throughout the world as it was? >> jesse: but, last night, in the pennsylvania senate debate, john fetterman knocked himself out the second he opened his mouth. >> hi, g good night everybody. i'm working to serve pennsylvania. >> jesse: only got worse from there. campaign dr. oz is a carpet bagger who owns a lot of homes

and he has gotten some traction on that. did he debate you have to show off your policy chops. fetterman couldn't even spew slogans. >> no, here's what i think we have to fight about inflation here right now. that's what we need to fight about inflation. we all have to make sure that everyone that works is able to-that's the most american bargain that if you work full-time you should be able to live in dignity is well true. but, you know, going to this vocational schools, able to create a career to weigh -- excuse me, to weaken -- reach a lottery high salary and supporting reduce those costs are critical, too. >> jesse: on the issue that matters most to pennsylvania voters, the economy, john couldn't cut it. fetterman had months to prepare for this debate. months. he knew oz was going to hit him for living off of his parents and not paying taxes. he couldn't defend himself. >> specifically said you have not paid your taxes. and that you want to raise taxes

on americans. how do you respond? >> first, he is lying. it was helping two students 17 years ago to help them, you know, buy their own homes. they didn't pay the bills. and it got paid and it's -- has never been an issue in any of the campaign before. it was all about nonprofit. >> when john fetterman brings up houses the irony he didn't pay for his own house he got it for a dollar from his sister. >> he got his pennsylvania house from his own inlays for a dollar that's typical. >> jesse: fetterman can't defend himself how is he going to defend the people of pennsylvania. all politicians flip flop from time to time most of them come up with a reason why they changed their positions. not fetterman. fetterman just lies. >> i've always supported fracking. and i always believe that independence with you are energy is critical. >> but there is that 2018

who is not ready to be in office. like i found it edges extremely hard to watch. >> i thought this was the unraveling of one of the biggest scandals going on in this midterm cycle. the covering up and the lying about the status of john fetterman. >> jesse: like a typically liberal fetterman's campaign blamed somebody else for. fetterman is blaming closed captioning errors that they said were slow and riddled with misspellings. he can't process speech. they actually gave him closed captioning what the moderators were saying. >> the second screen will caption the questions. and responses from mehmet oz. we have live, experienced captioners in studio who ensure we are as accurate as possible. >> jesse: so the closed captioning company and the network put out a statement saying everything worked perfectly and if a fetterman was given the option to practice

with it and chose not to. it became clear during the debate early on that fetterman wasn't well. and the moderator asked him, respectfully, when he would be releasing his medical records. >> you know, i believe if my doctor believes that i'm fit to serve and that's what i believe is appropriate, and i believe that, again, my doctors, the real doctors that i believe in, they all believe that i'm ready to be serve. >> follow up, i didn't hear you say you wouldn't release your full medical records. why not? you have 30 seconds. >> again, my doctor l believes i'm fit to be serving and that's what i believe is where i'm standing. >> jesse: fetterman's doctor is a big time democrat donor and him and john won't release the records. nearly every sane person who watched that debate felt sorry for john fetterman and felt sorry for the voters of pennsylvania who have been deceived about his condition. except, of course, you know, the ladies of "the view." >> it was really strange to me that he chose to bully a stroke

victim. >> yeah. >> right? he obviously was bullying him. and, you know, i don't think the people of pennsylvania or the people in general like that. >> jesse: dr. oz was the perfect gentleman during that debate. never even brought up fetterman's health once. he stuck to the issues the entire hour. how was that bullying? oz let his opponent use a translation machine. he didn't have to do that. personally, i feel bad for fetterman. he can't function at a level required to serve in the united states senate. and, according to physicians i have talked to six months after a stroke, this is probably the best john fetterman is ever going to get. and the fact that the democratic party hid this from the voters of pennsylvania, and continued to fist fetterman on them when it's clear he can't listen and communicate effectively is one of the most disrespectful things i've seen in a long time. it's ddisrespectful to john fetn

and the people and disrespectful to members of the media that asked legitimate questions about the candidate's health. nbc reporter dash shah burns, remember was viciously attacked by democrats and other reporters for saying fetterman had a hard time making smalltalk. after seeing the debate last night everybody knows she was right and they owe her an apology. barack obama and joe biden are going to pennsylvania together for the first time three days before the election' to campaign on stage with john fetterman. obama and biden are preying on poor john. is he a wounded animal who should be in therapy and the president and the former president are trying to drag this guy into the senate, where he is at a high risk of having a follow-up stroke who won't be able to perform at hearings. who won't be able to hear reporters, who won't be able to hash out policy on the senate floor. john fetterman could perform

under pressure in a debate for an hour. that level of intensity is washington, d.c. every single day. but democrats are taking advantage of fetterman. he is vulnerable. he is a man-child. and it's unseemly for democratic leaders to be pushing an unfit man who needs to be hooked up to machines into the most important legislative body in this country. it's not in john's best interest. but the democrats don't care. they only care about what's in their best interest. they only care about having a yes man that schumer can control. they know fetterman would be senator in name only. his bisexual brazillen wife gizelle will be in charge. last week we joked around how suspicious it was that the way gizelle kind of met and married john. and was living with his parents at the time. we joked that she was a brazillen fang fang. and lo and behold, according to reports, gizelle's uncle was an

intelligence officer, auto brazillen spy. a professional wiretapper. so this bait and switch have national security implications? yeah, the fbi probably doesn't care, but we do. this is political and medical malpractice. hundreds of thousands of pennsylvania voters have already voted early. john fetterman and the democrats already knew he wasn't up for the job but they weren't straight with the people of pennsylvania. and neither were washington democrats. this kind of blatant disrespect for the voters is exactly why the democrats find themselves in the position they are in now facing a massive midterm landslide. >> dan bongino is the host of unfiltered on saturday nights. dan, if you are a pennsylvania resident and you are a democrat, right, do you think john fetterman can fight effectively for you in the u.s. senate? >> no, i mean, it was tough to watch last night, jesse. i mean, i can be a smart as on the network a lot.

but i spent a lot of time, by the way let me say in advance any time you cite your education you usually sound like a jerk. it's important here so forgive me folks. i went to graduate school i studied neuropsychology. you wouldn't know that why would you? who cares. i have some experience in the space. this guy is in a lot of trouble. to say have a cerebral i want like that, a stroke is a serious thing. that's not the kind of tissue that just automatically regenerates not like getting a cut on your skin where you will maybe get a little bit of a scab. brain tissue reacts differently. the guy is in a lot of trouble. you could see it last night. it looks like he is having some kind of processing issue. not just that it appears he cannot only can't process language but has a problem actually speaking himself. in other words, taking what is happening in the computer and moving it to the muscles of the mouth. this is serious. this is not a joke. you all saw it last night. i have to agree with some of the commentary that we saw and even

some of the other networks. some of those commentators saying this is an enormous scandal. this was hidden. you mentioned, which was a great call, this poor dasha burns. i don't know her? she could be a far left radical as far as i know. she goes on a mainstream media network hey, listen, i interviewed this guy. and she was very nice about it. she goes he appears to be having significant problems and they try to cancel her. >> jesse: they did her own colleagues tried to cancel her. >> for doing actual journalism for once. i mean, she is owed an enormous apology. this guy ♪ fit to be in the senate at all. that's clearly obvious to any rational actor. >> jesse: isn't it sad to watch barack and joe prey on this poor guy to have them travel to pennsylvania where this guy should probably be doing speech therapy and resting and he is already at risk for another stroke. and to put him out there and to say rah-rah everything is fine, everything is normal, i mean that's predatory. >> i mean, you know, listen,

the national association of school boards asked the biden administration to go after, to target parents who go school boards as domestic terrorists using the patriot act. six days later merrick garland the attorney general more than happy to comply, sent a memo to the fbi directing the fbi to go after moms and dads who are raising issues at school boards about sexual assault. about critical race theory, about the garbage being taught to kids right now the fbi is doing that joe biden has turned the department of justice and the fbi and the irs and the federal government into machinery to target their political enemies when we have majorities in congress, we need oversight. and we need to stand up and stop this politicized law enforcement. >> how conscious of this type of performance, if you can even call it a performance, do you think the democratic hierarchy is because if you protest against it as you said.

his latest project. a $25 million bridge to nowhere. he is giving arizona all that cash to put a foot bridge over a dried up river. there's nothing around it. there is a few warehouses, a couple of hiking trails and some empty lots. so why are they building it? well, the mayor says this bridge could make phoenix the bird watching capital of america. >> our state ranks third in the nation for bird watching and this is one of the premier locations. i have to tell you one many of my fellow mayors are jealous today. >> jesse: not a single mayor is jealous of your $25 million-foot bridge to nowhere not a single one. not just the bird. phoenix has plenty of bridges crossing that river, plenty. this one is different. this one is equitable. >> this project addresses so many of our shared priorities, sustainability and equity. the south phoenix community predominantly black and hispanic communities have dealt with under investment, being under
