she arrived at san francisco general hospital last night to be with her husband. she flew in from washington d.c. after the attack. place a suspect 42-year-old david depape broke into the san francisco home here in this upscale neighborhood early before 2:30 a.m. early yesterday morning a family member who is traveling with the house speaker as the suspect was trying to tie up paul pelosi and he was allegedly shouting where is nancy? where is nancy? no paul pelosi was able to call 911 after the suspect broke into his home. san francisco d.a. says by making that phone call pelosi likely saved his life when officer showed up to the house they saw pelosi get attacked this 82-year-old man get brutally attacked with a hammer, take a listen. >> mr. depape immediately pulled the hammer away from mr. pelosi and violently attacked him with a hammer. the officers immediately

entered, tackled the suspect, and disarmed him. took the hammer away from him and took the suspect, mr. depape into custody. we also know based on our investigation at this point, that this was not a random act. this was intentional. now, police have not stated a motive for this attack. foxy digital reports the suspect, depape, has ties to a radical activist he has disturbing online presence that involves blogs under his name. that includes online pokes about pedophiles, "big brother" censorship, anti-semitic contents. he had legend also mentions cue in on, and covid-19 vaccine conspiracies. he got condemnation on both sides of the aisle for this attack. give senate minority leader mitch mcconnell he tweeted horrified and disgusted by reports that paul pelosi was assaulted. he's grateful paul is on track to make a full recovery.

scenes last a few minutes south korean officials have updated that death told her they believe at least 120 people may have died in this stampede. over 100 injured per the incident happened around 10:00 p.m. local time with a large crowd pushed onto a narrow strip of this happened during a halloween event in the capitol seoul. it's a very busy area of the city where the stampede occurred. there were a lot of young people out on the streets. reports of perhaps up to 100,000 people were out and about in the area at the time. and we can see is him these video clips hundreds of emergency workers rushing to the scene to try and treat the injured, desperately sad scenes and people giving cpr. it is reported in many of those died seem to have suffered a cardiac arrest, crush injuries. there are desperate f's efforts to save lives for there are fears the death toll may rise yet further.
