morning. we are talking about the economy. we are talking about crime. we are talking about the stalls of inflation in this country. excited to be here. >> steve: we are excited we are going to be traveling all across the country in the runup to the midterms. checking in with anna dale terrace throughout the morning on "fox & friends." >> brian: new york city. republican candidate gets over 30% is considered fantastic favored in staten island and upstate new york jump ball often. that's why the city is extremely diverse. >> ainsley: races are very tight. and if you look at the "new york times" siena college polls they asked if they were held today who would you vote for. in arizona you have senator mark kelly with 5 #% and blake masters with 45%. in pennsylvania john ferm with 49%. dr. oz with # 4% it. really depends on the poll you look at. other polls have dr. oz ahead.

in georgia, senator raphael warnock 49% and herschel walker with 46%. look at insider advantage they have walker up with a 3 point lead. nevada it is neck and neck according to "new york times" siena college poll. senator cortez masto 47% and laxalt 47%. >> brian: herschel walker is up 45.5 to 45.2. his staff feels as though not only are they ahead they got a shot at 50% which would avoid the run off. >> story in the post how stacy abrams could be hurting weafl warnock down in that great state of georgia. meanwhile, we were talking a little bit about how currently, i think there is gigantic number of people who when they are polled they are either shy or they are cryptic or don't answer

the question truthfully because they don't want to be labeled a certain way. even though, you know, there has been no poll taken completely after the debate with fetterman and oz. the very influential pittsburgh gazette put out an op-ed and they threw their support to dr. oz. better bet oz better to free press lead. it reads in part mr. fetterman's health, he suffered a serious stroke in may, is not the issue. his lack of transparency, however, in refusing to release his medical records is troubling. suggests an impulse to conceal and mistrust of the people all candidates for major elected office should release their medical records as did dr. oz. if you want privacy, don't run for public offers. >> ainsley: dr. oz was on with sean hannity last night.

he said a few things that struck me. he was talking about fetterman he wants to protect criminals more than innocent. he wants to get rid of life in prison for felony murder. especially when the murder rate high e. he wants to be the aoc of the senate. he also said this. >> we will be able to win this race if i can tell the truth about john fetterman more than he lies about me. what you are witness something a general belief by the democratic party that they don't have to address the kitchen table issues of crime, of the border, which is allowing font make every state a border state. of the economic crises that we are facing now, getting worse by the day. gas prices went up today again. it's going to be $10 a gallon in europe. it's going to get back to $5 a gallon here in pennsylvania and probably much of the country if we don't do something about it. >> brian: i mean, not only are those polls that we discussed real tight. siena and "new york times" not kind to republican. i have not seen laxalt and

catherine cortez masto in a tie yet and like adam laxalt seems to be picking up steam not in this poll. the other thing to keep a eye on. general bowl bolduc. he had her on every issue. certainly had the passion. and then you have donald trump out of nowhere endorse him yesterday. and now you have rick scott going there, pouring more money in. there's a sense that maybe youngkin could go up there. and they think it's within striking distance and nobody is hotter right now than blake masters and mark kelly seems to be finding a message. don't be discouraged if you are a republican by this poll in arizona because blake masters. i mean, of the guy oozes talent. he has the hottest politician in america right now kari lake at the top of the ticket. >> ainsley: how about the democratic party putting out the 44th president, they are sending barack obama out to campaign to

try to save the party. meanwhile biden is going to florida. but they have got obama last week he was in georgia and michigan and wisconsin. and this week nevada, arizona and and pennsylvania. >> steve: joe biden spent the weekend 10 days before the election in delaware. yesterday once again he was out of sight. he attended a memorial service at the metropolitan museum of art here in new york city for tony blinken's father. and while you see barack obama right there on saturday, you know, he is being called up simply because he is better than joe when it comes to campaigning. but, when you look back and we remember we were here on the couch in 2010. barack obama, during the -- it was a landslide. the tea party landslide, barack obama as president, lost 63 house seats, six senate seats, six governors, and with special elections and party switches, the democrats lost 720 legislative seats on his watch. so, for democrats desperate

both those categories. steve: you would not expect blow back from the mainstream media because they are trying to protect the teachers unions and democratic and political left. ainsley, to your earlier point, there was a lot of blow back on social media. rory cooper, for instance, said instead of apologizing she does this. no, every child didn't suffer. only the kids in public schools under your union control. you did that. then karol markowicz, columnist for the "new york post" said hi, it's you. you are the problem. it's you. >> ainsley: another one wrote you're too late, randy, the adults will take it from here. reading dropped to levels we haven't seen since 1992. math scores saw the largest decreases ever. people are accusing her of putting the union first and our children last. >> steve: looked like it. >> brian: look at those numbers. some of these kids haven't been back to school yet. they can't find them especially in new york city where it took place. teachers first attitude hurt the

back on to our streets. there is another 8 of them up for parole this upcoming year. which is why we need lee zeldin so you can revamp that entire border because they keep releasing dangerous criminals. she signed a new law by the way that basically says that if you are on parole, you get released. i mean you get released and if you get rearrested because you commit a crime, now you are getting released back on the street again you don't automatically go back to jail to finish your sentence. it's one policy after another that kathy hochul and my opponent mac rose support that are making people in new york city less safe. >> ainsley: i know you beat max rose two years ago you took his seat and you got 53.1% of the vote. trump won in staten island county by 57%. when you look at the governor's race though. where does lee zeldin really need to focus? is it new york city that truly votes pretty much democratic? >> look, if there are pockets of new york city that we can win. when i ran for mayor of new york

city we won certain assembly districts in the different boroughs. we need to maximize the turnout. here in staten island i know the people in staten island are fired up to vote for him. i know the people in long island where lee zeldin currently represents is also fired up. we need to make sure that people get out to vote. i talk to democrats, independents, and republicans. they see that there is a desperate need for balance at the state level and the federal level. quite frankly, all the problems that we're facing right now from the open border to crime in america's cities to the lack of energy independence to the horrible foreign policy of our president, to open borders. it's all been created by one party democrat rule. and my constituents see that so i think we're going to have a massive turnout in the polls because people just want to see balance and common sense. and they want to see public safety restored. they want to see spending controlled. they want to see our borders secure. and they want america to produce its own energy. they don't want to beg our
