carley, todd. >> carley: brooke singman, thank you so much. it is so tight in the senate and one big headline with fox news power rankings for the house, there is no predicted outcome where democrats with maintain control of the house. why? because there is a new "wall street journal" poll that shows 71% of voters say the country is heading in the wrong direction. they say the gop has a shift in favor among several voter groups issue including latino voters and women and particularly white suburban women, that group has shifted 26 points away from democrats since august in favor of the gop, now by 15 points and democrats rely on latino voters and suburban women to vote in their direction and their message to the two groups is that republicans are racist and want to take your rights away, which is not true, but it worked in the past and now it is not. it is more than economy and

hochul. why are democratic governors such a drag on their own party right now? >> well, it is because there is a great contrast between a republican governor and democratic governor as how they handle the pandemic. they resorted to mandates and heavy-handed tactics, that is fresh in the minds of the public and so i believe probably the governor's candidates are illustrative of it is difference of parties more than anything else, very proud of the republican governors, how they are doing. i think they are responding in places like oregon, where you have the chance to have a republican governor elected and new york, as you said. the pandemic issue and also how we've handled crime and enforce rule of law and how we're tougher on the border and support what is happening in terms of border security. those
