bring the country back. >> carley: you bring up the point. president biden made a speech at union station, washington, d.c., yesterday, painting republicans as bad and a threat to democracy he started the speech by talking about the attack on paul pelosi and tried to tie it into januar. making everything extremely political. well, as he was making that very speech you have general bolduc in new hampshire and he also faced a bit of violence himself with somebody in the crowd attempting to punch him. so you can go back and forth, you know, with the political violence and it's just unfortunate it's happening on both sides. something that should be condemned across the board but making it political as opposed to see saying everything is bad i think, is not really the right way to go. >> todd: of course all the major topics we were discussing were topics last night. in new hampshire, nowhere near the actual physical border, the border crisis was front and center. take a listen. >> we have to have a safe,

secure and orderly border so we can lift up -- live up to our values. and that starts with safety. >> the last time i checked, the joshuay ojourney going to the br because of her ideas, biden's ideas are getting killed. >> todd: you heard that soundbite from your competitor there. has she really stood up to joe biden on the border as she claims. >> no. she hasn't stood up to joe biden on anything. he 100 support, 96% in support of chuck schumer. she doesn't have any idea thousand secure the border, how to protect americans and granite staters. that is from economic policies, energy policies, crime, open border. she has no clue. she gives typically career politician answers. not even answers. she doesn't even answer the question. and i don't know how any rational person could think that that border is secure.

>> carley: well, general, a lot of people wrote you off when you won the primary and you have successfully been able to close this gap. it is now a margin of error race. you could win this. so, we're wishing you the best of luck. we will see how this plays out on tuesday and thank you so much for joining us this morning. brigadier general done bolduc. >> you are welcome. >> carley: with that "fox & friends" starts right now. >> extreme maga element of the republican party is a driving force. >> biden ripping republicans in a divisive attempt to move the needle for democrats. >> wanted to distract. i don't remember hearing about inflation. >> read it and weep. >> the fed increase interest rates a 75 bases points. >> pouring money people are already getting checks for college loan forgiveness. >> well over 700 illegal crossings in just a one hour span. >> i wish mayork
