suppression. let me give stacey abrams some credit here this woman practically register a million new voters you know a couple of years ago like that is mind blowing to mane i feel like she has that power. that flex to really mobilize a people to say hey voting really important. but that mobilization should not come fear and income a fear tactic something as vile and historically traumatizing as jim crow like when i think jim crow, as a californian i'm thinking like lynching saying you know, like brutal stuff so you're telling me that i'm coming from california to georgia and i'm going to deal with jim crow no my daughter we need to go back to california you know. so the fear was just really -- it was inprorpght. inappropriate more with georgia folks but democrats losing long held seat in the house to a 25-year-old rise in republican

7:31 pm
because when you look at the polling, 70.of the americans feel they were heading down wrong direction and i wonder how much that will play in this race in georgia and what you guys think about the president of the united states in how he's zoning joshua i'll start with you. how is joe biden doing in serving you and your family? >> he doesn't have a vision -- xepght for his pocket and my opinion. hen really doesn't care about what i'm doing where i'm doing it and if anything is going to happen. it's all about him, his family, and anybody else does what he does or his family does, i wouldn't be sitting here. there's a famous quote from i think it was former secretary bob gaetz robert gaetz said that obama, that president biden has been on the wrong end of every decision foreign policy decision in his entire career. and that i think that's pretty much held true for this.
7:32 pm
president obama was famous for saying every in understatement biden ability to f things up. he's f d everything up he's he's taken off at least to me. at least to me from the moment he shut down the keystone pipeline and all of those executive orders he signed until now. i can't think of anything that he's done that i would agree with. lawrence: how's it going for the president? >> awe -- well i would say this: if nothing else he saved us from a train wreck. sometimes you have to go with what you have. i agree with a lot that my copanel sris said in regards to the state of things and decisions and some things like that because even me as a democrat i look back and sit and watch things like you know puppy scared that -- so what's happening? >> you can still be a democrat

and have a different opinion. >> do think that things respect going well. >> okay. so that's my stance. >> can he really lead the party because obama can't run again. okay -- but he's on the road as if he's going run again. >> see this is the case when it comes to bringing our people that you want to be on the road where w you, of course, you want to bring someone that people love. so right now the economy is such is in such a bad state to -- if he ran with anyone if our president currently polled or not polled but ran with anybody on the trail it would be kind of a -- how do you say without -- bleep me it would be a show -- so right now you have to use your strength and obama -- obama is the strength right now. >> well listen they didn't want joe in georgia so that says a lot. not having the current president out here campaigning with
7:34 pm
warnock with abrams it tells you exactly what democrats feel about their own president. okay, it's the idea that he's not doing a great job, and seeing like joe he has so much baggage especially in black america. you are talking about 94 crime bill and black men in prison with thing he's implemented these they thinks have stwk biden. and again if we're talking about black voters and thes power of the black voting bloc out here in georgia, they're going remember that. >> that was so much fun. joining me now the vp of target victory matt gorman thank you so much for joining the program tonight welcome to the show. what is your reaction to those georgia voters it is going to be a tough race but what we've been able to see is kemp is probably going to win. is he going to be able to drag herschel walker across finish line because it is a tough race for him, though? >> it is a tight race for him

what i'm looking at is kemp gets above 7 or 8 poingts that might be enough to pull herschel over he's had momentum of lates. you know warnock just cannot get above that 48% marker. he's dumped tens and tens of millions of dlargs on herschel's head and he coops surviving so i think right now it rather be herschel than rafael warnock. >> so matt tiewk me about kemp alliances and he has all of these different groups that are supporting that i am typically wouldn't support a republican. i mean, even if you look at his support with black males now, some of our panelist were talking about that. when i was in georgia, he just been able to run on traditional republican things which is -- low taxes -- family values, tough on crime, how is he able to do that? so he had to grow, grow his

voter base and you know, again heelings not running against you know no name candidate and stacey abrams going after him again and crime i think what he did during covid he heard a couple people in previous segment talk about how he kept business open for as long as possible. that made a difference people noticed that. and now he's being rewarded. >> yeah. people definitely have this personal connection and i even saw that when i was on the road -- when you know, president donald trump got him a challenger. and the voters in georgia kept saying we know kemp. we know he did this for me, when you have that personal touch it matters. speaking of president trump, i think he's going run this is what he had to say. watch. >> going to win in 24 we're taking back that beautiful house. i'm not going to say it right now i promise you, in the very next, very, very short period of time, you're going to be so happy. okay --
7:37 pm
you're going so surprised. this is tonight i'm not going to announce to run but going back to take back the white house in 2024. >> yeah. well first of all we have a election coming up about three days so let's keep our focus on that. if you're the presidents or folks talking about 2024 no matter who you are and number two, look, this is not going to be a cake walk president trump or anybody else i think whether ron desantis will get in and they need to earn it this won't be given to anybody and i think very much so no matter who it is -- we need to keep the focus on joe biden. we can't talk about past elections or talk about 2020. talk about what joe biden did, and what he's doing to wreck our country and that will put us in aings to win. >> but it donald trump still leaders of the republican party? >> look, as of right now, we have a lot of good leaders we'll see who runs -- but i think come 2022 at about three days we're going it have a
