pete: joe biden was not the headliner. barely spoke at the rally in pennsylvania. three presidents, the third, donald trump who is teasing ever less subtly that he will be announcing for president after the midterm elections. he was also in pennsylvania at a big rally for mehmet oz. here is a portion of what he had to say. >> is there anything better than going to a trump rally on a saturday night in pennsylvania? play another democrat. will: i asked for this particular -- i said, okay, marty walsh wants to tell us that inflation isn't caused by this administration. pete: correct. will: inflation is caused by essentially three different factors, one the federal reserve printing massive amounts of money over the last two years during covid. two, the spending by the biden administration during covid years. massive amounts of stimulus shoving more money into the economy while there is a restriction of goods that you can spend the money on, the restriction of goods is caused by a pandemic policy of locking down our economy. this should never be overlook or or forgotten. this ex-extented policy should have h shutting our lives down, including our schools, most importantly in our businesses, broke the world's economy. there is really clear. been no accountability. request for amnesty on the policies that broke the world's economy and possibly our children's future.

knows -- pete: taught inflation in ninth grade, maybe before that, one conversation with your kids, they know what inflation is. rachel: of course they do. pete: rather than listen to labor secretary marty walsh with his fiery campaign speech we like to talk to voters and here is just a quick reminder of voters we've spoken to this week talking about the word that we're not supposed to know what is the biggest issue for you? >> inflation and the overall economy. i just retired three months ago. you know, you get the double-whammy here. retirement funds are going away and the cost of living is going up and you get crunched in the middle. >> i retired four weeks ago. i've seen a lot of my portfolio diminished very substantially. >> going back to the our part time to make ends meet, food, inflation, gas, it is just a nightmare. >> not enough to pay your bills. everything is going up.

nip who is familiar with our constitutional system. we have the most successful constitutional system in the history of the world. i mean this is a system that has weathered every challenged. it is a constitution that was written for the worst of times, not the best of times. james madison crafted this constitution so we didn't have to rely on good motivations of our leaders that we had a system. checks and balances t has weathered every storm and why this is so unsettling this crisis of faith. it is coming from our leaders and our leading pundits, trying to tell american citizens that our constitutional system is about to collapse. it's really alarming particularly they cite january 6th. the system worked on january 6th. everything was carried out according to the constitution by the officials in charge. the courts ruled against former president trump including many of his own appointees.
