inflation if you look at this, this is a bc "washington post," right? >> steve: up. >> ainsley: of the number one issue economy and 77% education in schools, 75, threats to democracy, crime and thin abortion issue. >> brian: it could change a little bit with the border state, texas, arizona might put immigration up a little bit higher if in new york city chicago or pretty much any city, crime moves up a little bit higher especially what's going on here and around the country. i think the best message ever to show the american people want to show is politicians is what they care about is to flip blue states. the blue states that are taking every one of the voters for granted. i think if they actually flip and go and leave their party come i think it will help the country in the long term. >> steve: maybe that is why joe biden has only been

campaigning in blue states. he is not in any states where they might flip. they just have to hold the majority. now, when it comes to different issues, which america is split which party they delegate to different things. for instance, we have a graphic that shows when it comes to the economy, americans trust republicans more. they trust republicans more on inflation. they trust democrats more -- i was going to go they trust republicans more on crime. then when it comes to demo democrats, education and threats to democracy, those are the two things they lead by a plurality. >> ainsley: i'm surprised by the education issue because in virginia, republicans did so well there because young kids listening to momma and papa bear's and became the parent party. we talked to so many people that were independents and they were still voting for glenn youngkin because they are sick of what's happening in the schools.

i'm surprised by that, republicans although neck in neck and republicans nomadic democrats care more than the republicans about that. >> brian: it is always somebody else's fault that things have gone so high, the supply chain is an issue that we don't have baby formula in afghanistan and outright disaster. we heard last week it was the greedy oil companies. then we heard previously vladimir putin. then we heard saudi arabia. well, it turns out joe biden basically admitted it's all him. because if you don't want to maximize production here, don't complain what they are doing there. listen to him on sunday. >> no more drilling. there is no more drilling. i haven't for any for more new drilling. no. >> off of the gulf of mexico.

pocket, out of your bank account! and up until now, he was denying it. >> ainsley: well, you have to deny the retiring individuals and people who want to retire and can't. look at my dad, for instance. he signed on the dotted line and will pay back the student loan but now he wants my dad to put these through college and to pay for this kid to go to harvard and get a free education and pay off $10,000? no, that is wrong. what about the electrician making $70,000 a year. he is supposed to pay off some kids education who signed on the dotted line and committed to pay back that loan and will take way more money than that electrician ever did and never went to college? what about your retirement? your 401(k), it makes you depressed and you can't retire right now. everyone is on a fixed income right now. my dad is paying so much more to fill up his tank, so much more for the ketchup and mayonnaise. everything is double and that is

the american voter. >> brian: ultimately what joe biden has been trying to do is motivate the young boater to go and vote because, you know. >> brian: that's white i am on tiktok. >> steve: the reason he won two years ago was the young boater, the young boater motivated by abortion but not all of this stuff but abortion has faded according to the polls. yesterday he was at the kathy hochul thing and responded to the green activist heckling him. a couple of days earlier, he made it clear again. he has revealed the truth and he wants to shut down fossil fuels. watch. >> no one is building new coal plants because they can't rely on them. even if they have coguaranteed the existence of the plan. so, it will be a wind generation. and all they are doing, you will save them a hell of a lot of money at the same transmitters as coal-fired electric. we will be shutting these plants

down all across america. >> brian: he doesn't know what he's talking about. green energy is not there and wind cannot supply and coal is fueling the electric grid. he is out of his mind. the press secretary knows how twisted those comments are here they tried to untwist them, karine jean-pierre but she came up short. to suggest that it was an intended and he regrets anyone hearing these remarks took offense. by the way, we are not idiots. we know exactly what he said. nothing was twisted. >> ainsley: he said i want to shut down coal plants. >> brian: they said that he would not defend taiwan and if taiwan is attacked we will defend taiwan and the administration walk that back. joe manchin hears this and demand joe biden apologize for it because he's not smart enough either. president biden's comments are not only outrageous in the voice of reality, but severe economic pain the american people are feeling because of the rise of economic spirit comments like ts that they are losing trust in

[cheers and applause] >> brian: so, kellyanne conway is it true they are saying the first of next week the president will make it official? >> it is true the president is itching to get back into the white house and to correct all the bad that has happened the last two years. the last time it takes to have a baby, brian, they unraveled all these great policies. energy independence, the economy, covid, record low unemployment rates and african americans, hispanic americans, women, you name it. the military and law enforcement were deeply respected and more generously resourced. so many issues now that people are sagging, how do we get back to where we were? people are drowning economically and looking for pockets. i talked to him this morning and he said, "i think you are going to be very, very, very happy." i give the president a ton of credit for doing two big things. one is waiting after the

get credit for the many people he is connected with opportunities, whether employment opportunities or scenting his plane for people who needed access to health services, et cetera. he ran for president and had none of the usual political motivators. he didn't need fame, money that position and power he had all of that. his family sacrificed enormously. he wanted to run and be president because he loves the country. he immediately got to work. the establishment did not like that and if you go to washington to work with volume and velocity that washington has never seen before, you are going to ruffle some feathers. i will tell you a quick story. first of all, the things he never gets credit for when he has people in the oval office with the cameras off. he is so genuinely interested in the person, the policy, helping young people, giving them advice about staying away from drugs and alcohol and smoking and everything and telling about the great futures. secondly, i will say this about
