georgia, nevada and arizona, and just moments ago fox news decision desk predicted ron johnson will defeat democrat mandela barnes in wisconsin. arizona, mark kelly is leading republican challenger blake masters. and in the governor's race there, katie hobbs is holding on to a slim lead over the republican kari lake. >> john: we have got a jom packed show for you ahead. our all-star analysts will give their take-aways, and our team of reporters have you covered on the undecided race. start in arizona with alicia acuna, live in phoenix. and still a very large chunk of votes that have not yet been counted. >> yep, that's exactly right, john. 426,000 ballots have yet to be counted and that's in the county of maricopa alone. you know, last night we did not hear from republican senate
10:03 am
hopeful blake masters but this morning his campaign did tweet with the remaining ballots outstanding we are confident we will win. last night incumbent senator mark kelly came out on the stage, greeted his supporters and encouraged everyone to be patient and wait this out. >> this has been a tough election. no matter how the rest of the results shake out, our government will remain closely divided with a lot more work to do. that can feel daunting. but that's democracy. >> in the hotly contested governor's race, republican kari lake asked folks to not be deterred in the ticket, even with democrats in the lead. >> we had a big day today and don't let those cheaters and crooks think anything different. if we have to fight through the b.s. and the garbage, we will fight through the b.s. and the

garbage. >> last night republicans filed an emergency lawsuit against maricopa county elections division after 27% of the voting locat locat locationsed -- ended up with tabulation issues, some did not vote as a result. a judge denied the party's request to extend the voting hours. on the democrat side, katie hobbs, leading last night, acknowledged they have a long way to go. >> we need to be patient and wait for every vote to be counted. because every single vote matters. and every single vote counts equally. >> so john, we are hearing a lot of questions from folks out there on twitter, other social media, when are we going to have a final result. maricopa county elections officials say they will have 99% of those results in by friday. so expect more changes in the next 48 hours, john. >> john: and we'll see if the
10:05 am
race is far enough apart they can declare victory, maybe project victory at that point or have to wait even longer. alicia acuna in phoenix, keep up the good work. >> sandra: thank you. let's take a quick look at the key senate races still undecided at this hour. i'm going to look at wisconsin, fox news was just a few moments ago able to call the race for ron johnson in wisconsin. mandela barnes, 49.5% of the vote. came down to the wow counties, last week we talked to daron shaw, and sean duffy as well, a lot of republicans were looking at those counties to see whether or not ron johnson could secure victory here. highlight some for you, this is racine county, waukesha county, republicans believe ron johnson able to secure victory in this senate race had to secure 60%,
10:06 am
at least, of the vote in waukesha county. he secured more than that. and john, it's fascinating to bring up a comparison to the presidential race of 2020. ron johnson secured a bigger margin of victory in waukesha than president trump did last time around. and washington county, north of there, president trump, 68.5% of the vote in 2020, ron johnson pulled off 71% almost of the vote there. so he exceeded again the margin of victory over donald trump last time around. and another county, 58%, compared to the presidential election race, again exceeding the margin of victory from president trump. so looking good with these wow counties. did not get to 60% of the vote in ozaukee, but it was enough. so that's sort of a snapshot of the picture there in wisconsin, brown county a lot of folks want to see how this ended up.
10:07 am
senate race for ron johnson, 54.8% of the vote there. john, looking at the yellow on the map, these are the outstanding senate races. and democrats only need to win two of these to bring them to 50 seats in the senate. so this is, nevada, arizona and georgia -- >> john: a couple of moments they thought oh, my gosh, is johnson going to lose it. so, at least they have that one in the hold column. what's going on with arizona, though, we don't know at this point. the very fact that alicia acuna says they hope to have 95 to 99% of the votes counted by friday? >> sandra: this is going to drag on. this is the big picture in arizona right now, 66% of the vote in, kelly, 54% of the vote,
10:08 am
maricopa county there, the phoenix area, this is what everybody is watching, obviously, looking at 65% of the vote in, split of 85,000 votes there. 53 to 45. you have an eight-point difference. but it's going to take some time. john, if i can quickly finish off by going back out to the map. we are also watching nevada, republicans still think this is their best chance at a pick-up. you are watching what's happening down here in clark county. this is where things are happening pretty slowly. cortez masto leading there, go up to the reno area, obviously, washoe county, laxalt has to lead, 64% of the vote is in. what we are watching at this hour. >> john: this is not going to affect the balance of power, but arizona, maricopa county, kari lake's campaign believes the 400,000 votes yet to be counted,
10:09 am
a lot of votes for her. some people predict she'll take the lead soon and never give it up. it's going to take a while before we find out because that board of elections says it's only going to report once a day and that will be in the evening. >> sandra: finish off with georgia here. this is why the likelihood of the runn-off is happening. neither candidate is reaching the 50% threshold. this is with 98% of the vote in and it is close. >> john: and we'll see what happens there, and that's probably not going to be decided until december 6th, if then. all right. good work at the board there, sandra. decisive republican wins in florida, governor ron desantis and senator marco rubio won re-election easily and several house seats also flipped to the gop. solidifying a steady shift in florida from a purple state to a red one. steve is live in tampa. this is a major, major win f ff

[cheering] we fight the woke in the legislature, we fight the woke in the schools, we fight the woke in the corporations, we will never ever surrender to the woke mob. florida is where woke goes to die. >> and as you said, john, no question marks, no uncertainty in florida. it is simply red up and down, not only desantis but also marco rubio winning easily over val demings by more than 16 points, and the gop picking up four congressional seats, and shaking up some old coalitions.
10:11 am
desantis able to win miami-dade county, 70% hispanic, generating more and more talk of a possible national run for desantis. >> john: they like him and want to keep him as governor but would be happy to give him up for a 2024 race. see how it pans out. thank you. >> sandra: marc thiessen, former speech writer under president bush and -- >> sandra: your analysis is amazing, a lot we don't know especially with the key senate races in arizona, nevada, and obviously georgia. but you look at what happened last night in florida, and what does it tell you? >> the red wave hit and it stopped in florida.
10:12 am
that's bottom line. look, what it tells us is florida is the future of the republican party, and particularly ron desantis is of the future of the republican party. he gives republicans everything they like about donald trump without the baggage, the personal vendettas, and election denial. he went after disney, sent illegal migrants to martha's vineyard, he knows how to counter punch. and he's a policy wonk, he was just a flow of facts and information about his record and his accomplishments and a great record as a conservative reformer. the other thing he has, which trump did not have, he's able to flip the switch in a crisis. if you compare donald trump's covid briefings, he was getting into fights with reporters while people are scared and looking for information, versus desantis's hurricane briefings, he stood there and he was -- >> sandra: had one this morning. >> epitomy of a commander in chief in a crisis, got the

10:14 am
election and do some intro, and voters gave us a great win in florida re-electing desantis, and you need a one vote majority to stop all the spending. biden's agenda, an it will dollar, all democrat spending bill is gone, finished, we can stop the march of socialism, and a wake-up call and realize that a lot of these senate races were winnable races that we gave up because we nominated candidates whose number one qualification was loyalty to donald trump over being electable, meeting needs of their states and the right candidate and candidate quality was a huge determining factor yesterday. >> sandra: you know who said that? mitch mcconnell, back in august. roll the tape. >> there's probably a greater likelihood the house flips than the senate. senate races are just different,
10:15 am
they are statewide. candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome. >> sandra: he didn't name names in that press conference, but he said there's a probability, a greater likelihood the house flips than the senate. senate races are just different, he said. they are statewide. he said it then and that's pretty much what we saw play out. >> he's been vindicated, and on the hunt for a senate majority, a tribute to mitch mcconnell. mitch mcconnell invested through his leadership fund and other pacs, $241 million to rescue trump nominees. spent $32 million in ohio, a state where j.d. vance won a seat that portman won by 20 points. north carolina, $37 million. nevada, we still may win, $25.5 million and georgia,
10:16 am
$38 million and on hunt there. it was mcconnell's going in and investing in those states where donald trump picked weak nominees or struggling nominees that will make the difference and may keep -- we may still be able to eek out a one-vote majority in the senate. >> so much hope in new hampshire with bolduc and that did not pan out. >> john: as i said, what a treat for marc, usually has to sit with me. >> i love you, john. >> john: see you again soon, marc. we'll talk about the elephants and the lions. all eyes on georgia and the battle for senate control. are we destined for a run-off between warnock and walker? looks like that. >> sandra: and house majority, what would the agenda look like if they gain power? we will ask house minority whip

here is where we stand at the hour. the two candidates are about 40,000 votes apart with warnock leading walker. that margin has actually widened in just the last hour here, so the momentum is in warnock's favor, and take note of this. a libertarian took away about 90,000 of the votes from the two candidates. here is what has gotten everybody in a frenzy. this tweet right here from the coo, from the office of the georgia secretary of state tweeting this last night, we feel it is safe to say there will be a run-off for the u.s. senate here in georgia slated for december 6th. but again, no official wrord from the office as of right now. now, both camps say they anticipated this, that it was going to take a while. warnock and walker last night urging their supporters to just hang in there. >> whether it's later tonight or tomorrow or four weeks from now,

it's not going to be over for a while. at least it's not going to stretch into next year like it did in 2020. >> sandra: there you have it, december 6th. put it on the calendar, a lot more campaigning in the weeks ahead. tropical storm nicole bearing down on florida and the southeast. a live look at palm beach county, that area is under a hurricane warning at this hour. fox weather nicole valdes is live in palm beach county, nicole, what is happening there and what are folks anticipating? >> john, sandra, good afternoon. you can see the strong wind gusts that are already impacting parts of the west palm beach area, several hours ahead of the projected landfall. more than 50 counties across the sunshine state are under either a tropical storm or a hurricane warning. but here in palm beach county, evacuation orders are in place, schools are closed and shelters are open for the thousands of evacuees that are leaving some

of the worst areas that could see some of the strongest impacts. we are talking the barrier islands, low-lying areas and really mobile homes that county officials say are not a safe place to be as the storm starts to make landfall. of course, other several impacts we are watching beyond the winds and the rain here, which is storm surge, coastal flooding and erosion. roads near the water have started to flood. a big challenge for the evacuees trying to head inland and the wind gusts, these possibly hurricane strength wind gusts are sending boats crashing into piers, some are breaking free and barrelling into open waters. hundreds are without power. florida, however, is ready to get through this storm. governor ron desantis says they have the resources in place to respond. >> sandra: all right, we are watching all of it. an update in the next hour as well. for more fox weather, download the fox weather app or stream

neither rafael warnock nor herschel walker has surpassed the 50% necessary to avoid a run-off, and brad raffensperger insists the votes are not there. this as kemp was over stacey abrams yesterday. patricia murphy, great friend of fox news. looks like there was a lot of ticket splitting that went on last night, particularly in the big blue counties of fulton, cobb, gwinett, and kemp for governor, but the senate, went for warnock. >> yes, it is so interesting to get into the real nitty gritty of these numbers. we know that governor brian kemp finished with 200,000 more votes than herschel walker did. but the democrat side, warnock 140,000 more votes than stacey abrams did.
10:50 am
a group of voters are picking kemp and warnock. both incumbents, and gentlemen who georgians are used to seeing in the offices they hold but also ran more moderate, even tempered, even toned campaigns than either of their other two party mates on the tickets. so we are seeing this fascinating split. you didn't think about it happening in modern politics, but it is happening now. >> john: so the press conference in a few minutes makes official what herschel walker has been inundating my email and other people's emails saying we are going to a run-off, i need money, i need money. what do the next four weeks look like? i'm sure warnocks campaign will double down on all the personal issues that herschel walker has in his life. >> yes, absolutely. well, we know what the next four weeks are going to look like because georgia has been here in
10:51 am
this exact same situation in 2021. rafael warnock was in this situation in 2021, when his own senate race against kelly lefler went to a run-off. hundreds of millions of dollars flooded into georgia. we thought the political ads were over, they are just getting started. and in this race, both of their ads have taken really, really aggressive hits at the other one. it's become a very nasty, very personal race. each taking the other one to task about their own personal backgrounds, their own personal failings. and so it has taken on a really ugly tone. unfortunately i think as we start to find out whether or not control of the senate is going to come down to this as well, if that's the case, this race gets more expensive, more intense, more ugly, i'm afraid to say and i think more people will be watching it even than right now. a lot for both campaigns to deal with. >> john: as we remember back in
10:52 am
august, august 18th, to be specific, mitch mcconnell warned about where his party was headed in terms of the senate race because of low candidate quality. listen to what he said. >> senate races are just different, they are statewide, candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome. >> john: a lot of people have complained that herschel walker is not the strongest candidate to go against rafael warnock. back in 2020, warnock was in a run-off, people thought that kelly was not the strongest candidate. when we take a look at the next four weeks, we have seen this movie before. >> we have seen this movie before and we hear people say why didn't republican leaders get somebody else to run instead of herschel walker. there were three other highly qualified, very traditional republicans who ran against herschel walker but he won his own gop primary with 70% of the vote. he just dominated those other guys. so there was no getting around
10:53 am
this. since that primary, even more of these allegations about paying for past abortions, more abuse of other women, all of that has come out since that primary. although much of this was known during the primary. what republicans are going to try and do, make it a race not about herschel walker but joe biden and control of the united states senate. if they can do that, that's why they are still in the race, that why they have a chance in a run-off. but if it's a race between the personalities and the backgrounds, that's where warnock wants to be and thinks he'll be able to win the race. >> john: a dynamic four weeks. see you soon, thank you. >> sandra: some big races still up for grabs in nevada, republican adam laxalt is challenging senator catherine cortez masto, governor steve

sisilak is in a tight race against lombardo. we are watching that area very closely. how are the candidates feeling about everything at this hour? >> well, sandra, a degree of frustration. candidates don't know if they are ahead right now or trailing. the margins has been completely blurred, we don't know how many mail-in ballots to expect. this was the first midterm election where ballots were sent to all registered voters. so they either had to be postmarked by yesterday or dropped off. both candidates spoke to their supporters in the senate race and they told them this is indeed a waiting game now. >> we are exactly where we want to be in this race, we have a lot of our votes coming in all across the state yet to be tabulated. >> the votes are still being counted. we know this will take time and we won't have more election results for several days. >> washoe county, home to reno
