tv Hannity FOX News November 10, 2022 11:00pm-12:00am PST
11:00 pm
and that interview is well worth it. >> tomorrow we have an interview plan with an online celebrity called alli london. transition from a man lived as a woman even changes ethnicity. now he's become a man again and learned a lot in the process. tells you a lot. we'll be back tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. and we can't wait to see you. >> then have the best night with the ones you love. here's sean hannity. all right. and tucker, thank you. >> a lot of news tonight. welcome to "hannity". now, we begin with this fox news alert. >> joe biden's unfair multitrillion student loan handout was just blocked by a federal judge delivering what is a serious blow to the administration's plan to redistribute funds from blue collar workers to hardworking men and women of this country, to grad students and sociology majors, even those that went to harvard and yale and ivy league institutions will have more in a moment. now, we also have tonight other breaking news out of arizona. >> a major update is imminent.
11:01 pm
a big new batch of results is expected. any moment things have turned dramatically better for blake masters in arizona. kari lake seems to be the sure winner in the gubernatorial race. she'll join us in a moment. and we also have extremely positive news out of nevada tonight as adam laxalt appears now to be the odds on favorite in his senate race with expecting an update, updated vote from nevada. that could happen during this hour. stay tuned. if we are able to make a call in this hour, we will , unfortunately, in arizona, nevada, calif. and a few other locations all around the country, the vote count is going on again and again and again in perpetuity, dragging on for days. it could even take weeks. and in the very cold state of alaska that i love, we may not know anything until around thanksgiving. this is insanity and it's not okay now. five weeks after florida suffered a devastating cat four
11:02 pm
hurricane and we're still praying for our friends in southwest florida. the state mangle i'm sorry the state managed was so much damage, but the state managed to count all seven point five million ballots, as marco rubio said in five hours in clark county. out in nevada, officials are still in the process of counting a mere 50 thousand remaining ballots. 48 hours after the election and today, the county registrar just said that it will take several more days to count those fifty thousand votes, telling reporters that the county can't do it any faster. can we hire the people in florida just an idea. take a look. my staff has been working very diligently. we've been here from early in the morning until late at night. we've been fully staffed. we're working as hard as we possibly can. in order to get the ballots counted. but whether we like it or not, there's no way that we can move any faster than we're currently moving. we still have over 50000
11:03 pm
ballots that need to be counted . those are in various stages in the process of validation before they go to the county board. and finally, ultimately to get to tabulation where we're able to read them into the system. >> now, think of what marco rubio said, seven point five million ballots counted in less than five hours. they're not going to know anything 50 thousand ballots. we won't know anything until the weekend. you can't make this up. i'm laughing because i want to cry. and as of now, adam laxalt is still up and in a much better position to win this race tonight than he was last night. inches away from victory. now, he will join us tomorrow with the very latest out there. lindsey graham is going to weigh in. he has all the numbers now. sadly, when we go over to arizona, the situation, believe it or not, it's even more chaotic. however, the news clearly is benefiting curry lake and blake masters. >> take a look. when do you anticipate the votes will be counted in total, those four hundred thousand plus votes? >> well, we have we will be
11:04 pm
going into next week. there's someone said to these, again, pursuant to arizona law. but i think that we'll see the lion's share here wrap up by early next week, early next week. can you give me a day or we're talking monday or we may maybe as long as you won't hold it to hold me to it. >> but i think that's what we're looking at this point. >> again, can we hire the guys in florida, seven and a half million or five hours? that's maricopa county, where around four hundred thousand ballots are yet to be counted. now, this after managing to count a whopping sixty two thousand votes yesterday based on numbers from the ap. over six hundred and fifty thousand votes are still not counted statewide in arizona, and according to my sources, i am being told we'll ask carol in a few minutes. we believe that out of that six hundred and fifty thousand ,around four hundred thousand of those votes are day of drop
11:05 pm
off ballots that tend to overwhelmingly favor republicans. now, that means and blake masters campaign is saying they are now averaging 68% of that day of personal handoff drop off on election day. if that pattern continues, he would become the odds on favorite to win that senate race. look, anything can happen. in the last 72 hours, we have seen batches of ballots slowly trickling in from here, there, everywhere, seemingly at random . and yesterday, many thought that we only had four hundred thousand. we were told four hundred, twelve thousand and a few outskirt counties, rural counties, come in and that's it. well, it turns out it's four hundred thousand day of ballots remaining. this has to change because it's six hundred and fifty thousand ballots as of today. yesterday it was four hundred and change and now it's unfair to every single candidate, every single citizen, especially in arizona, every person in nevada, every person that voted in the other 40 ,
11:06 pm
seven states that have given us , for the most part with some exceptions, their final vote tallies. unfortunately, the person in charge of arizona's elections happens to have a huge conflict of interest. that is the secretary of state, katie hobbs. she has not been at all transparent in any way. we don't know the exact number of outstanding ballots and we don't know when the finally going to be counted. and we don't have an excuse as to why it's taking so long. now, my message tonight, get serious to arizona, nevada and every other state is still counting votes. you all have a serious problem . this is drawn out way too long. it's convoluted. it is confusing. the process does not inspire any confidence at all in the process. and people may question the results as a result. it's simply not fair to anybody . entire countries in europe and south america and asia, they count votes in less than a day. then they call it a day. canada, france, south korea,
11:07 pm
the uk, they all use paper ballots and are able to count 100% of the vote on election night. but clark county, nevada, just can't go any faster at a minimum. now it looks really bad. this has to change. look, all this month long voting, six weeks of voting, eight months of voting, drop boxes here, they're everywhere . no tabulators at work, et cetera, et cetera. how about voting day, a national holiday? how about we start there? how about we then have absentee ballots for the sick, the infirmed, the elderly people that won't be in town , election day and then everyone else show up. you have partisan observers watching the vote and watching the vote count and everybody gets the election results at the end of the night. if it's close, you can recount it again and again and again. now, this has to change. we have to have faith in the system and integrity the system. and don't even get me started with alaska. what an auditor, let's see, have the huge advantage in her favor. the states self serving
11:08 pm
senator lisa murkowski and her allies instituting, quote, rank choice voting or what i call the lisa murkowski incumbent official protection act. this complex system requires voters to rank their choices. in other words, because lisa murkowski, murkowski is well-liked among democrats, but not well-liked among republicans. well, she can now draw support from both parties with a second place ranking. well, that increases dramatically her chances against a real republican in this race, in particular, kelly chewbacca, who is beating her head to head in on election day voting. but it will take weeks to play out. chewbacca now has a lead, but will the results will greatly change in the coming weeks because the ten points that the democratic candidate got is more likely to vote for lisa murkowski because lisa murkowski votes with democrats . a whopping 67% of the time votes for biden.
11:09 pm
67% of the time it's a disgrace. but back to our top story and all eyes are on arizona and nevada. now, these two states will decide the balance of power in the u.s. senate. there are also two major gubernatorial races that are still hanging in the balance in arizona. kari lake is confident the remaining votes will put her over the top, but it will take days or however long it takes. and at what cost. >> at the very latest, arizona republican gubernatorial candidate carrie lee. this is a national disgrace, marco. senator rubio's right. they counted seven and a half million votes in less than five hours and you counted sixty two thousand in the last twenty four hours. >> it's crazy. and i want to apologize to the world who's waiting for arizona to count their ballots. >> but, you know, it's just the way they are and it's not my fault. i'm the one who i'm really suffering because we worked hard on that campaign. our followers have been so passionate and they're waiting on pins, needles. i want them to know tonight.
11:10 pm
i'm 100 percent confident we win this when they start counting the four hundred and one thousand ballots that we broke all records in arizona because people showed up in droves to hand in in person or mail in ballots. we broke all records. we even beat the twenty twenty trump election record . >> that is what's going on . people are so distrustful of our elections that they wanted to hand deliver their mail in ballot. and when they did that, we overwhelmed the system and they don't have enough people to count them. and this is why we need to reform our election laws. sean, when they count those, by the way, we're expecting them to go possibly 70% for us , maybe even more worst case scenario, we win by fifty five . fifty three thousand votes. but we think it could go much, much higher than that. and we think blake will win. we even think mark fincham might pull out a win and abe as well. so president trump will have a pretty good record by the time they count these these ballots. >> let's go back to a
11:11 pm
conversation we had on my radio show yesterday and you told me, well, we've got about a little over four hundred thousand votes outstanding. and we expect that. i think you said two hundred and thirty five thousand our day of voting. now, here we are a day later, they counted sixty two thousand votes. now we're hearing and we're close to six hundred and fifty thousand ballots remaining. and of which nearly or close to four hundred thousand or so votes in blake masters case because you have a bigger lead than he does. he told me earlier tonight that they're winning 68% of those day of votes. i think you're winning 70%. so if that math holds, blake masters will be the next senator from arizona. >> if that math is right. yeah, if that math holds, i mean, we're going to win by hundreds of thousands, maybe more than two hundred thousand ballots or votes, which would be great. but what we want to tell the people is that, you know, we're watching as these little tranches come in and they're
11:12 pm
tending to give a few extra votes to the democrats, the democrats are running out of ballots to count that are going to go in their favor. >> and they know it. everyone knows it. are war rooms know it when they start counting these mail in ballots that were hand delivered. that's what we're going to see everything start to shift. and there's no turning back from that. and it's going to be i want to prepare our supporters for this turnaround. but i think the left is going to kind of wig out when they find out that they're losing potentially all four of these key races. >> okay, so four hundred of the six hundred fifty thousand remaining ballots, four hundred thousand of the 650, if they're all day day of election day, hand it off. that fits the profile of a conservative voter that's sick and tired of arizona's voting system and wants to ensure that their vote is going to be counted and as i pointed out, you're getting a little over 70% of those votes. blake masters is getting 68% of those votes. okay, so what about the other
11:13 pm
two hundred and fifty thousand or so votes? that are not day? where are they coming from and what do we know about those ballots? >> i'm glad you asked. i have my spreadsheet here. >> let me refer to it. take the ten thousand. seventeen thousand are those draw three . remember when people showed up so excited to vote because they're so ready for change. they got in line before the polls open only to find out that at more than a third of our polling locations in maricopa county, the machines weren't working. the tabulators were broken. they didn't have enough toner in the printers. it was just a fiasco. and so they were telling people, come on in a vote, we'll take your ballot, we'll put it in drawer three and we'll bring it downtown. to count it. >> so there's seventeen thousand votes that were in drawer three that are left to count. we have one hundred and eighty seven thousand early votes. these are just mail in ballots that were sent earlier, whether
11:14 pm
it be the last three or four days before the election. but not arriving on election day. and then we have i'm trying to look through here provisional ballots. we have sixteen thousand provisional ballots and we have over sixteen thousand election day mail in ballots that arrived via mail on election day. so it's it's quite a bit of ballots that are still out there. this is missing a couple of counties as well. but what we know is there are upwards of six hundred thousand still left to be counted. >> some of those will go. the democrats way. but we believe that the vast majority, a huge number of those mail in ballots that were hand delivered on election day are going to go our way, sean. >> all right. so, all right. let's let's look at these pictures. you got your seventeen thousand seventeen thousand draw three ballots, as you call them. sixteen thousand provisional, sixteen thousand mail a day. put that aside. let's look at the biggest chunk
11:15 pm
of votes are outstanding beyond the four hundred thousand that were delivered by hand that day that are favoring heavily you and masters of that hundred and eighty seven thousand, i would imagine that might benefit the democrats. is that fair? do we know what the percentages were up to this point on those ballots? >> some of those have already come in. we've been seeing some of those trickle in from various counties today, including coconino county. and that batch actually benefited the democrats, but not much. i mean, i think they gained a couple thousand votes, not a huge amount. and whatever they're gaining is very minimal compared to what we stand to gain when they get to that huge chunk of votes that are that's our base . that's the people. and think about it. these are the people who don't trust the way the elections are operating. they're never going to vote for mark kelly . they don't want to vote for a mark kelly is not for election integrity. they're certainly not going
11:16 pm
to vote for katie hobbs, who's actually part of the problem. so we are very confident that they're going to go our way. the other ones have been going depending on which county. we had a couple of good counties. the matter of fact, we just found out pinal county, which is where sheriff mark lamb is , the sheriff. we just had about 8500 votes. eighty six hundred votes come in and i got 55% of those votes compared to hobbs, who got 44% . so we're starting to see these trickle in and that will continue to happen. but the big, big ballot drops are going to be i'm guessing, by monday. i wish they were moving faster. sean, this is the way it works. but but i will tell you this when we win on day one , we are going to call a special session ,get our lawmakers busy and say, let's solve this election situation so we never have another election where the voters of arizona are forced to wait and wait and wait to find out who won. we're forcing them to wait. and the people in this country,
11:17 pm
we want to know where the balance of power lies. and it's hard to find out when it's taking days, maybe weeks, to count ballots. it's unfair. it's wrong, and we can fix it. >> this is not rocket science. it's do you know what blake masters pulled in that pinal county dropped tonight? and do you expect any more ballots to drop tonight? >> do we have any idea? >> we are expecting some . i've got my team here. what do you thinking, guys? we don't know. we'll find out. i'll try to get that information. >> i'll have my team searched that and hopefully i can get it to you. sean, okay, well, they didn't you realize they didn't give us a lot of hope that was going to be a huge batch tonight. i think it was was a sixteen thousand or something like that or sixty thousand. >> very good. maricopa looking really good as well. we're just you very graciously have agreed to stay in and if in fact, those numbers come out in this hour, we'll go back to you. and we appreciate you spelling
11:18 pm
this out. i think everybody around the country is watching us and they're in a state of shock. and if they're not in a state of shock, they should be because we should we send people to the moon. you know, it's kind of interesting. you look at the moon, i'm going to i'm going to land a rocket ship there. i'm going to have astronauts walk on the moon and then we're going to bring them home and they're going to live their lives. and that happen. but you can't set up a voting system that gives us results at the end of the voting day. >> terry lake, thank. you've been very helpful. >> just hasn't gotten an update. oh, you got another sixty thousand more miracle maricopa ballots are coming in by early mail that are coming in tonight. so we will keep an eye out for that and we'll let you, sean. and you're right, we should be able to fix this. i will fix this as governor and we're going to make it so that we don't have to wait on arizona and the people here don't have to wait to find out the count. all right. if that number comes in during this hour, we'll go back to carrie like carrie . thank you. appreciate it all. i think a lot of people are really shocked by this. and you should be tonight. we are expecting a vote, trump

11:24 pm
11:25 pm
fox alert. new vote totals had an avatar show that adam laxalt maintaining his lead over senator cortez masto in tonight's latest numbers from clark county. that is the vegas part of nevada that is heavily democratic . masto did gain around thirty two hundred votes after twelve thousand ballots were dropped. and that sense laxalt lead now stands around thirteen thousand. that was to be expected. we'll bring you the these numbers live as soon as they come in down in the great state of georgia, the first days of the runoff campaign are in full swing. with raphael warnock clearly in great fear of herschel walker. and he starts right up ramping up smear tactics against herschel, claiming that he has a disturbing history. >> mr. warnock, so do you take a look? this is a choice about competence and about character.
11:26 pm
and when it comes to character, we all know that it doesn't get any better for my opponent. sadly, i'm running against someone who lives about every aspect of his life, everything his own staff says he lies like he's breathing. >> i'm just repeating what they said, his own staff. and we've seen that herschel walker has a disturbing history, a pattern of violence against women, against his own family. and he takes and he refuses to take responsible for that. let's see. in 2020, your wife, mr. warner , claims you tried after a domestic dispute dispute to use a weapon known as an automobile to run her over and in fact, ran over her foot . you're arrested for obstruction of justice in a case involving child abuse at a camp you were running in which five instances were discovered to varying degrees on top of the character
11:27 pm
issue, you're the guy that's friends with the rabid racist and anti-semite, louis farrakhan. you're the one that praises the ever so controversial reverend jeremiah wright, who said g.d. america, the sunday after 9/11. you're the one that praised the murdering dictator, fidel castro. i want to talk about character. let's make race about character, because herschel walker is seeing more and more momentum ahead of this december six runoff. clearly, that man, raphael warnock, is afraid now he is holding in well, over three million dollars. herschel did on the first day of the runoff for the campaign . here with more on this and of course, the situation out nevada is lindsey graham, south carolina. senator , let's start in nevada. you've been following these numbers closely. we had anticipated we thought that was about eighty seven thousand ballots in clark county. that's heavily democratic .
11:28 pm
so it turns out there's only fifty. now, after tonight's drop, there's only about thirty eight thousand votes left in clark county. and then you've got a lot of votes in counties that favor adam laxalt as well. what? thirteen, fourteen thousand vote lead? >> what does that tell you? adam's going to win. >> so there's a pathway in arizona. kerry told you about how we can get there in arizona. there's a two lane highway in nevada. you can land a space station on the pathway that adam laxalt has. 60% of what's left are same day ballot drop offs. there are people she can't get there from here. four thousand votes are going to come in pretty soon. we think, from rural nevada to make up for what you saw a day. she can't get there for the way this just came. so it's going to win this race. >> one county just came in and apparently adam laxalt, which county was it?
11:29 pm
it was a smaller rural county. and that is plus one thousand for adam laxalt. boy, you're like nostradamus. >> you know what i tell you, i don't get paid nearly enough matter. in fact, i don't get paid anything is probably don't. he's going to win. okay, so he's going to tell you tomorrow how he wins. they're counting votes in arizona. i like where we're at in arizona. i love where we're at in nevada. what are we going to do in georgia? we're going to vote again. >> okay, now what warnock said is the sign of a loser that press conference today when he went after herschel tells me he's losing. and here's one rule we should never forget in politics, the nightmare for an incumbent is to be in a runoff. warnock has been in office for years. he raised one hundred million dollars. every media outlet in the country tried to destroy herschel and laks and warnock fell short.
11:30 pm
if you don't win the first time as an incumbent, you're not going into second time in a runoff. perdue and leffler lost warning's scana lose. you can't buy a seat, but the lack of money can make can lose a seat. and i worry that blake didn't have enough money against kelley. >> now herschelle got outspent two to one. we're going to do this thing again december the six join team .com tonight. right now blow up the internet . let's have the best day we've ever had. i'm all in moving to georgia. i will do everything i can to help. knock on doors. i'm on call call people that i know in georgia. team .com warnock is going to lose if we give hershel the resources to get his message out. and here's the most important point i'm going to make tonight. they're they're trying to destroy hershel to deter young men and women of color from being republicans. if they destroy herschel, it will deter people of color from wanting to be a conservative republican because you just have your life ruined.
11:31 pm
we cannot let that happen. we need his we need to have his back . if hershel wins, he's going to inspire people all over georgia of color to become republicans. and i say all over the united states , herschel walker is a nightmare for liberals. he's an african-american conservative. they had belittled him. they have treated him like. his family. stand by , herschel, tonight. if you can give give if you know somebody that can give , ask them to do it. team herschel .com, the conservative movement for people of color, is on the ballot in georgia. we must help people like urschel for the benefit of our country and the future of conservative team. herschel .com, please. very powerful. senator lindsey graham, thank you. now, at this hour, by the way, as we continue, republicans are still inching toward a majority in the house and may end up being decided by republicans in
11:32 pm
the even in the deep blue state of california. ironically, look at your screen. mike garcia remains ahead in california's 7th district. kevin kiley is ahead in california. three young kim and michelle steele are closing in on victories in southern california and even prominent house democrat katie porter is in a tight race in orange county. remember republican need two hundred and eighteen seats, as you can see, to put it on the screen. and to win that house majority, which appears to are headed towards. >> joining us now, former speaker of the house newt gingrich. i mean, it's pretty remarkable developments that adam laxalt is now an odds on favorite in nevada. we have a highway now for blake masters based on new numbers. we have more outstanding votes tonight. four hundred thousand of the six hundred and fifty outstand hour day of handed in ballots that blake masters have been winning.
11:33 pm
68% of those. that's an interesting story tonight. and then the runoff in georgia state, you know well, your thoughts on all of it. >> newt gingrich. okay, this this is i think this is the wildest election in my entire career, as you know, because i went to ninety four was a big night much further ahead. >> no, i was. but i'm saying i look at this and there's so many questions. in 2014 when we won, reince priebus, as the republican national committee chairman, asked me to develop a review, even though he'd want to try to figure it out and i think that that ronna mcdaniel, the chair of the rnc, ought to set up a similar review committee. there's so many questions that we need to get answered. you apparently house republicans got five or six million more votes than democrats, but it didn't translate into the same comparable number of seats. we need to examine. apparently, some incumbents lost who shouldn't have. we should examine no incumbent
11:34 pm
lost in 2020 with kevin mccarthy's leadership and no republican lost in 1994, when we took the house is something that a lot of things we have to ask ourselves. but i'll tell you this. i talked to herschel today. he is out there running every single game that went into overtime in his career. he won. he thinks it's exactly the same way. i think he's going to win. but i agree with lindsey, everybody who can help him out to go to team .com and do so. i think that adam, who has worked very hard, is very smart for former attorney general of nevada. i think adam is going to win. i think now that blake masters is going to win. and i look i look at what's happening with carrie, like she's going to win. we're going to end up by the time this is over, every effort of the news media to make republicans feel bad is going to fall apart. >> and remember, the biggest change in washington will be when nancy pelosi handles that gavel over to kevin mccarthy.
11:35 pm
you go from a radical liberal to a solid conservative that is the biggest single change. and my sense from biden's press conference yesterday, he didn't get any of it. he has no idea what's going on . and i think they're going to continue to sound down the same disastrous road. >> what do you think the message what advice do you give herschelle? it's kind of interesting. he never lost a game in overtime game in his life. that's not a record many people can say, you know, i don't know if he'll do it, but i told him something. >> i learned many, many years ago from a former republican governor of ohio who used to take his wallet out and put it on the podium. and he said, let me tell you, this race is about my opponent wants to take money out of your wallet. i want to put money into your wallet. now, do you want more money in your wallet or do you want them taking it out of your wallet? well, this guy was an amazing number of governorships because
11:36 pm
people got the key simple you have. and in warnock, somebody who is to the left of bernie sanders. i mean, warren, because genuinely right at the edge of the extreme socialism and he also has a terrible record as a landlord where they have kicked people out of houses for as little as twenty six dollars. i mean, it's just really the story he talks about, the way he talks about character. look, his friends, you know, louis farrakhan and jeremiah wright and fidel castro and by the way, speaking domestic violence, he was accused of that and he was arrested for obstructing an investigation into his camp of child abuse. why do you think republicans in the house, they're going to get a majority? it appears, but it's not going to be anywhere. what we thought it was yet. they won by six million more votes, according to the latest numbers. how did that that doesn't add up to me.
11:37 pm
well, that's that's why i think we need a serious study committee to really stop and take a look. look, as you know, because we've talked about many times, every model i believe in failed in this election. and that's why i was very confident going into election day, i'd spent three days campaigning with kevin mccarthy, watching him work, seeing how he was doing it. it was a remarkable he's raised four hundred and eighty million dollars. he went out and recruited. this will be the most diverse, most inclusive house republican party in history. they developed a commitment to america that's much more sophisticated than what we did with the contract with america back in ninety four . so i really went into election night when callista and i went down to watch returns with kevin. i felt really good until i began to realize there's something missing here. and i agree with you. when i saw the cook report, which said as of this morning that six million more votes for republicans, i think as california comes in, it may slide down to five million. but still, we had five or
11:38 pm
six million more votes and we don't pick up a whole bunch of seats. we need to analyze that. i mean, there's something going on out there that we don't understand. and frankly, a lot of the expert analysis which was based on race, the races are wrong when you start looking at the votes. so there's a lot to be to be learned out of this. but kevin mccarthy, i can't wait for the moment where pelosi has to hand if she's still there. kevin mccarthy, the gavel and the degree to which in committees and investing and scheduling things, all of a sudden you're in a totally different house, you know. you know, my kids are athletes. a win is a win. and sometimes you win ugly. not with your best game. and i'll take anyway. >> newt gingrich, thanks for being with us. all right. also, other breaking news tonight. a federal judge in texas has now struck down joe biden's student loan forgiveness plan, ruling that the move was outside of the president's executive authority unconstitutional. we've been saying that since day one .
11:39 pm
here with reaction, american first legal founder steven miller, along with former white house chief of staff reince priebus. we'll start with reince. the president tried to use the emergency powers under covered as a cover to to do this by executive action because he couldn't get it done legislatively. it was constitutional from day one . and then he also said at the same time that the pandemic is over. so the emergency would then therefore have passed. so this was the right ruling by the judge. if you believe in coequal branches, of government, yeah, i mean, this is a time to review the separation of powers doctrine. right. which says that the president has certain powers of congress ,has certain powers in the judicial branch, has certain powers and in this case, it turns out that the president doesn't have the authority to give away billions and billions of dollars to people to forgive their student loans. and so it's obvious that he
11:40 pm
didn't have the power. he overreached and he did it. you know, just in time for the election, they swamped university towns all across the country. you were just talking to newt. and he's right by the way, about doing a review. even when you win or lose, you should always look at why things happen the way they did. but what the democrats did is they swamped these university towns and they did an effective job of it. but they used issues, not just abortion, but a student loan giveaway, which is totally ridiculous and unconstitutional. they targeted voters. and the one thing i'd say to my republican friends is that we have to stop ignoring those university towns. we cannot have republican candidates for senate and governor that are getting 21% of the vote in places like madison, wisconsin, and expect to win statewide elections. now, thank god someone like ron johnson, who had one of the best us senate campaigns i've ever seen, ground game. i had a huge super pac, lots of money. but, you know, he barely survived because the democrats
11:41 pm
used these phony issues. and what was totally known to be unconstitutional when they wrote it, they're not stupid. any first year law student knows that the president doesn't have the authority to go and spend billions of dollars. that's the job of congress. and now we have a court that, of course, says that. but they use those issues and they they spend millions of dollars lying about it. they have a good ground game and they use it effectively. and they swamped us in some of these towns. we can't let that happen again and we can't ever let the republican party ever run through these elections and ever expect to win statewide elections. if you're getting under 30% in any county in america, i don't care if it's manhattan, madison, wisconsin, or out in berkeley, california. we've got to set these goals straight and take a look at what happened. let's get your take. steven miller, joe biden talks all the time about the war on democracy. but the war against democracy
11:42 pm
is from this oval office against our rights and freedoms under the u.s. constitution, joe biden was found by this judge to have flagrantly violated the separation of powers with a stunningly illegal order spending half a trillion dollars without authorization from congress. can you imagine a more imperial edict, a more lawless action than to take hundreds of billions of completely bypassing congress completely bypassing the statutory power of the purse that is vested in the house of representatives to dole it out to voters that you want to win on election day. we want to talk about democracy, whether it's the politicization of doj, whether it's the illegal student loan bailout, whether it's our wide open borders, whether it's putting men in girls' restrooms. this administration is breaking the law every single day and threatening our democracy.
11:43 pm
and i hope the new houseman's, if it's inaugurated, god willing, will conduct vigorous oversight to save democracy from this lawless administration. it really is . it's unbelievable. and we better keep an eye on it because, you know, the fact that they even tried it. reince priebus, that's why the republicans winning the senate seat , the senate seats are so critical and they winning the house of representatives is so critical. reince, you were once rnc chair. why? how is that republicans win by six million votes in the house, but it's so close they're going to win the control, but not by the margins. we thought, well, that's why i think you do a review. >> i don't know. i don't have all the answers without looking at all of these things. but when, you know, we obviously thought things were going to be a lot better and we had to look at why that is . and i'm confident that the party is going to do that when we do have some silver linings. >> you know, obviously we were
11:44 pm
outspent. i think that the university towns on those issues was an issue. >> i also think that 75% of the general public does believe that we're on the wrong track. >> the question is , are we effectively convincing people that those people in those states are responsible for why these things are happening? look, we're winning the house. that's great. we've got a chance to win the senate. and that would be great, too. and that's nothing to sneeze at. if you win the house and win the senate, that's great. but it doesn't mean you don't look back and say, hey, what could we do better? so there's some things that this president to count. what's that stuff? we have to use that power on day one to hold this president to account that i agree with republican said they've got to govern with their conservative principles. america first principles. thank you both very much. thank you, stephen . thank you. straight ahead tonight, the media mob. so their post midterm lunacy that continues. and we've got it on tape straight ahead. attention, medicare recipients.

for a white house someday. >> okay, let's take a look nominee at some point for president . i know there's some variables, obviously, but you but i just you know what he did in the super red , deep red parts of pennsylvania and the way that he ran ahead of biden, as you were saying, ran ahead of trump. i mean, it just makes it makes you wonder about his future. >> all right. here with reaction, fox news contributors lara trump and leo to point tural. laura , i'm just guessing that they're thinking, oh, we'll hide them in the basement. >> he won't answer any questions. he'll do a debate with a teleprompter and closed captioning and then go back into hiding and let surrogates do the talking for. oh, wait, you mean like he did and like we saw happen in 2020 and that election. sean, wait, are they actually admitting at this point that joe biden is not going to be
11:52 pm
their choice candidate? i thought that was their guy. but i guess when you have joe biden as your number one guy right now to possibly run for president in 2020 four with his abysmal approval ratings and in who's next in line for them, kamala harris, his sidekick, she's got even worse approval ratings than joe biden. and don't forget, she actually ran for president . she had to drop out before her home state of california, even voted to save herself that embarrassment. gosh, i guess john fetterman is the next best thing they have on the democrat side. how would you feel right now if you're aoc, if you're budha , if you're elizabeth warren or even hillary clinton, that you have been fully passed over now for this very talented rising star in the democrat party must really sting for them? >> yeah, i don't really see the democrats with much of a bench. >> leo 2.0. oh, i have no benshoof.
11:53 pm
don't forget, this is the left wing media always anointing someone as the next presidential candidate. remember, michael avnery, same situation. this country will never elect sean a socialist. this guy is a clone of bernie sanders and joe biden. it will never happen. they have a weak bit. i mean, this is the bottom line that the left wing media is searching for a candidate, an alternative to mahwah. and boudjellal and gavin newsom have a very weak bench. if this is the best they can offer. is he the loser? he doesn't believe in oil independence of this country. he is a person who wants to destroy the criminal justice system. he wants a get out of jail car for every criminal. this guy is a disaster. and everyone knows, as you pointed out before, 71% of americans believe we're on the wrong track. john fetterman is part of that wrong track. >> what do you make of these election results now? it's almost like you've had an earthquake and then you get a

tidal wave after it seems like there's a lot of hope tonight. laura in nevada, arizona and i have a lot of faith in hershel . listen, i think that we have to accept the win. my gosh. i don't know why people are trying to deny that republicans won the american people spoke out and they delivered for the republican party. they said we need to change course. we know the democrat policies are killing america. we need somebody to come in and at least stop the bleeding. so i think we feel very hopeful. look, we won in the house for sure. it looks like let's go out and win this one with hershel. >> all right. thank you both. we appreciate it, laura . thank you, leo. thank you. when we come back , more "hannity" straight ahead with my hectic life, do you think retirement would be the last thing on my mind? thankfully, boy provides comprehensive solutions and shows me how to get the most out of my workplace benefits. really, it helps me feel like i got it all under control for
