rachel: hearing them, they're so good. oh my good. that is just amazing. i just love the 40s. i love the fashion, i love the movies. i love the bomb shells. the american bomb shells performing on our show. i love it all. pete: you love it all? rachel: make the whole show the 19 40s. will: performing boogie woogey. pete: we've been accused of making the show all about the 40s in the past. rachel: have we? pete: i love it, they're great and glad they're here and every day is the fourth of july and veteran's day.
5:02 am
thank you from all three of us to all the vets out there and military families out there and every conflict in between the good enough war and all of you did that on behalf of us and we're grateful. we now know and think we know the winners of two key races out west. in nevada, republican joe lombardo is now governor elect picking up a governor's mansion for republicans. will: fox news channel and the power and senate is all tied up and democrat senator with more. alexandria. >> good morning.
5:03 am
one senate seat in the way of democrats retaining control that they either need to pull through nevada or win that runoff in georgia. let's start in arizona where a major blow was provided to republicans and what was seen as the biggest pick up opportunities and senator mark kelly winning tight bid for reelections over blake masters and down for gop investment. >> mcconnell decided to spend millions of dollars attacking a fellow republican in alaska instead of helping me defeat senator mark kelly. had he chosen to spend money in arizona, we'd be over and spending a message to the people of america. my message to my fellow republican senators, hopefully my future colleagues and let's not vote mitch mcconnell into leadership. >> katie hobbs and kari lake's race is too close to call and lake remains confident. >> there's still about a half a million ballots to be counted
5:04 am
and these are primarily hard core republican voters and we're less than a point away from our opponent, and we think it's going to start turning and turning quickly, and we believe we're going to win with a nice padding actually. >> officials in arizona estimate there's still between 265 and 275,000 ballots left to tabulate. a hand count audit happening today. 821 votes separate the vandeberg dates and estimated 40 -- candidates and estimates 40,000 ballots need counted in clark county and 20,000 more statewide need cured or provisional and eligibility status need to be determined there. they've slimmed over incumbent democrat senator cortez mastro and the race for governor is a different story and late
5:05 am
yesterday republican sheriff joe lombardo defeated democratic governor steve sisalak and comes down to december 6 runoff election and herschel walker attempting to unseat warnock. >> i stand with georgia and will continue to stand with georgia and i'm going to get into washington and let the peep's voices with heard and let the people know they are going to washington in less than two years. >> fox's larry kudlow saying americans need to prioritize support for walker if they want change in washington. >> my message to the republican party and the candidate for senate if herschel walker wins the runoff and now is not the time for all kinds of finger pointing and blame gaming and now is the time for the party of unity to change and push herschel walker over the goal
5:06 am
line and into the end zone. you want to save america, save herschel. >> clearly, look at the house and two dozen outstanding congressional races in the country and republicans have secured 211 seats to win the majority and they'll need to pick up just 7 more. will, rachel, pete. rachel: alexandria, thank you so much. a lot riding on the nevada race and we were talking about that and we hope there's enough poll workers in nevada and as well as in arizona because 275,000 votes have yet to be counted in maricopa county. pete: it's saturday. rachel: i know. pete: 275,000. rachel: usually when these late kind of tabulations happen and they favor on the democrat side and we need transparency here and we know in nevada there was like a security hammer that went down and there's a lot of questions.
5:07 am
pete: we need kari lake to win in arizona because if someone's going to tackle wrestle to the ground, it's going to be her. it's not going to be katie hobbs who is overseeing the election as secretary of state while running in the election. this is completely unacceptable across the board. the outcome of the midterm elections right now are an absolute mess. i think we can all include in the vote count and there's a blame game going on that you apprised us with earlier and elmore boldenment on the left as joe biden can maintain course. . pete: i don't need to change anything. will: i don't need to change anything because it's on the ballot and last night during prime time and hope the left doesn't feel like they're been affaffirmed from these midterm elections and you know what, woke policies work and you know
5:08 am
what, the economy doesn't matter and climate change policies are popular but don't always work. the reason i bring up the take aways and it's a mess right now is if you really dig in underneath a little bit, there is some, i think inflation always matters. call me old school. i think people care about inflation. there's some interesting things taking place under the surface. look at this associate the press exit poll. black voter shifted 22% to republicans and younger hispanics shifted 18% toward republicans. if that is something taking place underneath the surface and democrats feel emboldened and republicans are still trying to sort out what exactly hammed, there's real opportunity. there's real -- all the issues we spent the last three months talking about are not all of a sudden inconsequential. that's not the take away from the midterm. rachel: we should have put up numbers for single white women.
5:09 am
that's way up. they're doubling down on that for democrats absolutely. you look at joe biden, where is joe biden today after the election? he's on a climate tour. he is absolutely mocking americans by touting the so-called inflation reduction act and it was a ruse. doubling down on climate and policies because i don't think the elmore imabove richment of america is a bug. you have to look at the point. look at black and mis-panic communities and that's why some -- hispanic communities move away and they want hispanic and blacks and frankly everybody else dependent on them because their policies are dependent on the government and that's what they want. my wife went and voted.
5:10 am
pete: there was a line snaking for an hour and all of the wonderful working people and they're out raising their families and family. what are they obstructing cerumen sorbing at the last media or -- absorbing at the last minute or candidates that weigh more on voters. that's what democrats did a better job of reaching certainly young people who are not in the political, take for example oz and fetterman. how did fetterman win? you know what democrats did? they played up the fact that memhet oz was from new jersey and sail intoed the state and fear mongered on abortion as if the rights were going to be taken away and a lot more effective. rachel: the messages by the way
5:11 am
and the columnist and spoke about that. >> the counting systems in which i'm disgusted by the fact that african americans have been so abused by the democratic party and look at the history. i'm a historian as well and studying the history of what happened during reconstruction with jim crow and even the most important thing is black babies are not even safe in god's workshop, their mother's wombs. i'm sick and tired of it. pete: so well said. rachel: that was a great interview, will. will: thank you, it was. as i say, i think -- we still take some time to figure out what was sent.
5:12 am
abandoning all the things you think are important to america. don't wrestle with the quality of that. started by trump and potentially finished created a whole new coalition of working class of diverse voters. that's more about that . rachel: it's not about black or white but the elites versus the working class when you really break it down for the democratic party and the elites have to look at the fact that change is their number one concern and not inflation. will: where's joe biden right now? rachel: exactly. trying to sell climate change policies. pete: in the dirtiest countries for energy in the world preaching about the need for a green earth. rachel: in africa, 34 million people in danger of famine
5:13 am
because of droughts. they need help not the climate policies that will do nothing to solve the drought problems in africa. will: yesterday was veteran's day and makes it veteran's day weekend here on "fox & friends" weekend. there's an op-ed. it's veteran's day, where have all the veteran's gone? they go on in the op-ed to quote an interview with an army lieutenant general. he said armed forces could make recruiting a lot easier by lowering standards for physical and mental fitness. many potential recruits are disqualified by low test scores, obesity or drug abuse. that could damage the military over the long run and more positives approach say the general this author spoke to would be to reacquaint the american people with the military. there's communities particularly in the south where serving in the military was a revered tradition and more young people who don't know any veterans personally are getting a

distorted profession thinking they're super heros or losers and brings us back to veteran's day. thank the veterans you know. there's a lot they can still teach us. not to overstate it. one of the super heros and medal of honor recipient, staff sergeant david bellavia. david, always great to have you on the show. we started a fascinating conversation earlier and getting people reinvested in the military and what do you think of the suggestions laid out in the new york times op-ed lowering the standards? >> yeah, i don't to want speak for hegseth but when you're getting shot out one thing the combat leader is screaming for is more stupid fat pot heads. that's what we need. who else is going to come save the day? i mean, this is absurd. look, we get it. you don't understand us. you don't understand the vast section of america either. you know, we have an election day that turned into election
5:15 am
month. it would be great to have a month celebrating service and veterans too. the people at ap applebees woult mind that and you want veterans in your communities, in your schools and you know what elsewhere we want veterans, we want to keep them in the military. maybe don't jetson thousands of people for making vaccine decisions and use a litmus test of, colonel, you're going to keep running a battalion because they believe women should have babies and that's a problem in our military. it never has been a problem before. everyone here is still serving and they have to make decisions as whether or not they want to stay in the military based on politics and other measures that are wildly irresponsible. rachel: talk about lowering the standards for physical fitness, what a lost opportunity during covid to talk about obesity and
5:16 am
really focus on that instead of -- and physical fitness and better health for young people during covid, but we put all our elmore wow. sis on the vaccine -- emphasis on the vaccine and used in many ways to weed out good americans. my question to you is about china. what does china think about what's happening to our military? the fact that it was also burying people that could have benefited us. >> do the policies make america weaker and america's interest overseas and no one is going to tell you and no one wants that anywhere. do you want a surgeon who said
5:17 am
by the way, i failed my mcat but i think i got my life in order. i'm ready to account you open now. cut you open now. nobody wants people out of shape or not maintaining the standard and certainly a history dabbling on dais you would want people with things with where would our military and the standards and that's why our military's elite and they're going to lower and maintain them. president trump crossing the house and it's called remember

the ramrods an armed brotherhood in war and peace. >> well, you actually helped inspire this for me because i think when we came home as a veteran that came home from war and you think to yourself, do i miss the war, do i miss combat? what is the whole experience there that i'm lacking in my life and when do i realize we have a validation and purpose and find a purpose in our world and mainly this award and we saved each other in war and now we're saving each other at peace and at home by just being present in our lives for the first time in 15 years and that really mean as lot to me. thanks for letting me share it. will: he's one of the most

i chose to fly apaches because i wanted to be at the tip of the spear in combat. >> and they look really cool. >> they look amazing and have air conditioning. >> we could care less. when you're on the ground, on the ground taking enemy rounds. the enemy's bullets could care less what color you are and when i'm calling in air support, i could care less what color the pilot .s i just want bombs and rockets on foreheads on the bad guys. that's it. >> that's it. >> and i want somebody that can meet the standards to do that. >> that's the big thing. if you're not having standards, we're going to allow certain elements of politics and we support soldiers and sailors and marine's lives at risk. he who cannot perform the job in positions of real importance, they're going to die. die. pete: awesome group of g guys ad candid conversation over whiskey and if you want a sense of what's going awry in our

red lines are. xi jinping wants to show that he's a rising power that can replace the united states. president biden is old, his health is declining, he can't speak properly and has gaffes all the time, and we should be ready to hear all kinds of white house walk backs for the gaffes that president biden is prone to make. will: that's -- it's an ominous warning and i think it's probably accurate so, helen, i'll turn to you and rebecca lays out on the red lines and america we'll lay down the red lines for china and accurately for that laying down any red lines. >> first of all, i want to begin by wishing my husband happy birthday today and the red line is meaningless and the climate change with the climate change

and it's the biggest threat of china and continuing to rely on china's corporation to fight the so called climate change because president biden's policy continues to endanger u.s. -- hurt u.s. economy and national security and solar panels, wind turbines and batteries for electrical vehicles and more dependent on china and makes it more powerful and u.s. economically it's difficult to draw a red line there. will: we're so intertwined here and economically showing vulnerability and the climate change and all around that. >> countries derive their power from their economies and their militaries and combatant commander of admiral richard and they've warn that had we're

losing the edge of turning china and even during the cold war and one major power with the soviet union and it's two and china and junior partner re russia and they're collaborating and we're trying to get xi jinping helping from russia and joe biden doesn't get it and he's asleep at the wheel. will: the trouble joe biden would have with the red line and if you're advising him, what should the red line be with china? >> everything that president biden does has to be for america, for america's national security, defending the american people liberty and process parity. that should be his absolute red line in whatever decision he makes whether it's foreign policy or domestic policy, that's where he should come from. will: all right. rebecca heinrich, helen, we appreciate both of you for being with us this morning. thank you so much. >> thank you.

5:33 am
rachel: with more than 149,000 unaccompanied minors encountered at the southern border in fiscal year 2022, the risk of child sex trafficking and exploitation is constantly increasing. our next guest has dedicated his life to stopping human trafficking, especially at the border. operation underground railroad founder tim ballard joins us now. tim, it's so great to have you on the show. i am in such awe of the work that you and the people you work with do. right off the bat, tell me how many children have you saved?
5:34 am
>> operation underground government railroad, we've rescued eight people so far including women and children and close to 4,000 arrests that we support arrests with supporting law enforcement. throughout the world in 30 countries and all 50 states. rachel: we've been talking a lot on the show about human trafficking coming across the border and risk to women and especially children. what do you want the american people to know about our border policy and how it impacts human trafficking and the exploitation of children? >> well, i think as a nation, we generally don't frame this whole border crisis in the right way. start with the kids. you just reported how many unaccompanied minors and we've got to ask ourselves, why are there so many unaccompanied minors. about 11,000 a month is our average and about 8,000 end up being released to sponsors. so to frame this correctly, we need to understand the united states in general is the number one demand for child exploitation material, we're the demand for child sex.
5:35 am
in a world where there's millions of children being exploited sexually in the child sex trade, we have to understand these child sex traffickers making millions every day, they understand the economics and they want those kids into the interior and our policies are just letting it happen. rachel: they're not just letting it happen. our government is complies sit. it's extravagant and we've always known there's been child labor and the department of labor found 30 children that were part of a cleaning service for slaughter houses. can't imagine a worse job and can't say if they were illegal or not but we do know all the interviews were con ducked in spanish so -- conducted in spanish so people can connect those dots. talk to me about what's happening in that regard as
5:36 am
well. >> yes, slave labor actually about 6 million roughly children who are forced into slave labor and once you're a slave, once you are in the control of another person, these are numbers we've never seen in world history the amount of child slaves that exist whether it's slave labor or sex slavery or even organ harvesting, which is something we're attacking as well throughout the world. rachel: tim ballard, thank you for what you're doing and bringing light to this. our government is complies sit in this, it's shameful and embarrassing and we're so glad there's heros like you looking out for the children and helping us to consider reframing the way we talk about these policies because they're hurting real human beings. also, people can go to your website, give us the we can site really quick, tim.
5:37 am
>> it's ourrescue.org. rachel: okay, and keep an eye out for his movie, the sound of freedom about the work ha he does coming out next year. tim, thanks so much. just in awe of you. thank you. >> thank you so much. rachel: okay. coming up, put your seatbelts on. we're going on an early morning trip with republicans as they go on the road to the majority. what their top priorities might look like.
5:38 am
5:39 am
5:40 am
5:41 am
will: as has been promised, we're expecting the top priorities for a republican majority house would start with an investigation into hunter biden. we need to. in order to have a faith in the unit of america, our election process -- united states of america and election process and institutions, we need to understand what happened here and whether or not our government at highest levels is compromised. pete: ultimately hunter biden's name may be atop that sign on the freeway and it's all about the big guy and joe biden and how much involvement he had. it's not just tony bob lindy that came out before the election and was suppressed. but there was another whistle blower this week yet unnamed and talking about additional
5:42 am
business dealings in south america on gambling and how joe biden was on the call and sounded like the chairman of the board on a call with him and harry reed and others. this is something that should be looked into with a new majority. let's hope the vehicle the republicans are driving is bigger than this prius. let's hope they're drive ago little more horsepower than that one. will: republicans like jim jordan have begun the investigation into the hunter biden corruption scandal and senators as well sent letters and let's hope it adds up to more than letters, even more than investigations that ultimately it gets to accountability. if you were ranking priorities, i think that not far behind the hunter biden scandal, you'd find this. what about the origins of the covid-19 scandal? what about the wuhan institute
5:43 am
of ve vof virology. pete: what about hunter bide and what he knew and when he knew with his involvement like peter gassick and others funding the wuhan lab and how much did they know about where it may have come from and then how candid were they about it because the wet market library of thinking has long been debunked by common sense and the government sun willing to acknowledge it emanated from a lab. we deserve to know considering what was done to us over three years. will: rand paul promised to wage a review into the origins of the coronavirus and whether or not it came from a wet market, unlikely, or from a lab. cathy mcmoray is rogers, should
5:44 am
the republicans take control of the house and lead that investigation? pete: that's right. move to a third investigation that needs to be had had app rai pomoxus on this veteran's day weekend and how much intelligence did they have that would have preventing the deadly chaos and refugees we're facing in the country with afghans yet to be processed and we don't know who they are or how they got here. here. will: i don't need to tell you as a veteran, for many it could be like how much time do we spend looking backwards or making progress moving forwards. as a veteran i'm sure you know, the military and many other successful institutions do after action reviews. if something goes down, you want to figure out why and how it went down. most especially if it failed. you want to figure out why so you don't commit the same kind of failures moving forward. this type of after action review for afghanistan is absolutely
5:45 am
necessary. will: especially when no one was held accountable at all. pete: the only guy held actable was stu sheller that stood up and told the truth. ranking member of the committee on foreign affairs would be michael mccall charged with prosecuting this particular case. will: now we can move forward. pete: talk about another army. will: another army but this time not an after action review and preventing a future calamity and failure. that's the hiring of 87,000 new irs agents. pete: staggering amount of money and people. they claim they'll get the money to make up for massive amount of spending they've undertaken under joe biden and ultimately to go after the rich. that many agents is going after everybody to try and re-coop. will: congresswoman elise steffonic should be heading that up. pete: i don't know how she's driving that car, she's looking backyards. will: on the one issue we're
5:46 am
looking forward, leave her looking backyards. pete: by the way, first member to endorse donald trump this week for 2024. it'll be a tricky balance. if it is kevin mccarthy, looks like it is. there's some in fighting there as well for them to propose an agenda going forward but also be willing to hold to a account, we didn't even mention the border or politicization of the department of justice. will: we could do that because that's one thing to focus on as well and politicization of the department of justice. looking into investigating the fbi and justice department and whether or not it's been a partisan in -- those have been partisan institutions digging into the whistle blower's reports that have continued to come forward about the organizations for pomoxus ten issue bias against conservative -- potential biases against conservatives. pete: if congress is able to identify through the processes of the committees and those people are willing to speak out about what they saw as real political bias, that's a real
5:47 am
problem. equal justice is the foundation of the country and republicans have a chance to start exposing that, which would restore faith in the various institutions we need. will: five issues at tom of republican's priority list if they continue the current momentum to take control of the house. pete: oh, man. buckle up. buckle up in the prius driven by an elephant. coming up, democrat's second largest donor loses close to $16 billion after his crypto company goes bust. will: man. pewe have that next. will: first, the bomb shell song.

5:53 am
with things go wrong these are the people the government should be going after and the question is if the government goes after them. the parallel to 2008 financial crisis is part of what's most striking to me and the ironny is that they then tar the industry with a bad brush and the rest of the crypto currency tarred with a bad because because of this bad actor pretending to be a good guy donating to people. pete: this should not be an indictment of crypto, it's one company giving a lot to the political party in the hopes that should something -- in the belief that should something go wrong, there's protection there, which is crony capitalism in this case. ja>> yeah, just like goldman sas got bailed out and that's the same game fbs was trying to play and he committed to spending a billion over the 2022 and 2024

cycles and a lot of democrats are upset he only spent a little less than $40 million. maybe he didn't buy the gold plaited insurance policy and maybe they will go after him. the final point i'll make is you're right, it shouldn't tar the whole industry with that bad feather because actually he was omitterring a centralized exchange. so called centralized old school exchange that offered trading of cryptocurrency. if it was an actual de-centralized exchange, which is what the true promise of finance was supposed to be about, he likely could not do what he was going to do here and in the short run gets a bad name. pete: that's got a public account and your name is on it. vivek, the person that censored hunter biden quit as part of mass exodus elon musk saying everyone has to come back to work and people are quitting including the guy that broke the story. >> that's a good development. this is one of the guys
5:55 am
responsible for the heavy hand of twitter's team and government lurking behind the scene. the part that puzzled me is elon musk was publicly supportive of the executive that created the dynamic that leaves elon and the company worse off is after complimenting the guy, he apparently made the decision to leave. elon musk faces a fork in the road and i'd like to see him go in one direction and it's the direction that reflects his vision here. version one is continue the sensorship as it exists but more sentries in nature and he said in the last couple of weeks, take the most extreme 10% on either side. we don't necessarily want them but just take a more sen tryst approach to censoring. that's not the most favored approach and not what i would favor and it's not the way that reflecting his original vision and it's a free speech platform. there's an evolving story
5:56 am
reflecting elon's evolving thinking and was surprised he was so supportive of the executive and glad to see this particular executive gone. pete: the right guy to break the two stories down this morning, vivek ramaswamy. thanks for your insight. i agree and hope he goes to the second round. thank you. >> thank you. pete: coming up, we have a big final hour ahead on "fox & friends" weekend on this veteran's day weekend. ♪
