democrat favor. that is interesting over there. charlie kirk was talking about what he thinks republicans need to do better when it comes to election day and voting and sort of maybe taking some queues and some tips from the democrats themselves. listen. >> we are now in the era of vote by mail. i don't like it. a lot of people don't like it tough, we have to wake up get good at it. republicans need to understand ballot harvesting is legal in nevada. the culinary union in clark county is expert at curing ballots which is all legal in nevada. they are in some ways to make up a deficit polling shows would have been a comfortable win for adam laxalt. democrats master adlong voting window, precinct, precinct, find out what voters turned in their ballots, not turned in ballots. we as conservatives complain about it, at least get into the arena trying to get into early voting, vote by mail.

advocate for most secure ways of voting. i hope this is a wake-up call. rachel: i don't know if i agree with charlie there. pete: i don't know either. i heard him. that was him last night on lawrence jones show right after the race was called. charlie is very dialed in of course in the state of arizona where there is still a lot of hope that kari lake will win. in fact the last ballot dump was suppose to be a bad one for her she won by 4 points. there is thousands of votes left in maricopa county. there is silver lining. he tracked votes. he is right. i don't want any covid voting rules. we agree on that. let's say it never changes. then do we allow the culinary unions and other unions to basically hoard ballots and hand them in. tell mom and dad to show up on election day or do we knock the doors -- i hate it.
3:07 am
i hate it. absolutely hate it. it is pragmatic political approach from a guy who wants to win. if you want to win play by the rules. the rules are terrible. will: quantify the problem. in that report from alexandria hoff you heard the number 75% of ballots in nevada came through earlier absentee voting. that is stunning. 75%. i asked for this late this morning. we'll have it a little bit later in the show. that is deep tease i hope you hang around. look at number of votes cast over extended period of time, 18, 20, 22, the number of mail-in balloting sheer quantity spiked dramatically obviously during covid a multiple percentage compounding effect spike. as 2022 comes in, it comes down but it only comes down i will roughly proximate this for democrats 35%.
