we will be watching whether or not this impacts that georgia senate runoff race next month. todd and carley? >> carley: griff jenkins for us from florida. lara trump is here to react to all of this. lara, good morning to you, the former president's speech praised by republicans positive driven, forward looking not backward. criticism about him jumping into the race before the georgia runoff is complete. what do you think about that? i don't say there would be critics of donald trump. say it ain't so. there we don't have to beat around the bush. we know it is happening now. we are not breaking any news on "fox & friends first." you have tried to get me to slip up and do many times. i think he can be very helpful actually to herschel walker going forward. he laid out a path for america to get back to the great country we once were.

here you had the architect and the engineer of one of the most successful times of american history, donald trump telling you how we get back there and i don't think there has ever been a time where people say we need someone to step in and help out and save us. he talked about herschel walker last night. he made a point to say this is a very important senate race. we need to all galvanize our support behind herschel walker. and he actually see that his record, when it came to the midterms, walls 232 wins to only 22 losses. so, i think that is a great record. any sports team would love to have that record. and i think most republicans can agree when donald trump gets involved, he brings attention to races, and his support oftentimes gets people over that finish line. and i think that's what you will see with hemorrhage walker as well. >> todd: you mentioned a lot of republicans a lot of republicans potentially entering the race. a lot is being made about the

potential primary challenges donald trump could face there are a lot of names. we have pompeo, hali, cruz, scott, a lot of scotts, desantis, of course and youngkin just to name few. do you think that the challengers will still enter this race now that 45 hag okay pexpressed his intention to be 47. >> that will be interesting to see people remember back to 2015-2016 after my father announced the first time he was running for president. he had to take down 17 primary candidates. he did it. total unknown on the political scene. people laughed whenever he came out the first time and said he was running for president. he was the one standing at the end. it is a tough road those primaries as we all recall we have all seen so many times. i think there are probably many people who are considered running for president who look at donald trump and they say, you know what? it might not be my time right now to enter a race if he is
