because of them i'm moving forward. >> i mean, it was just the most wonderful patriotic, unifying evening i've experienced in my life. fox does such a great job putting this together and the seminole hard rock hotel and casino does a great job. the moments that stood out, the woman who sang the national anthem, a police officer, she is pretty, has an incredible voice, all that in one package. and the freedom speech, it was amazing, he won an award last night and spoke out against turkey and hasn't spoken to his family in eight years, his prayer is to see his family, his mother, he is close to his mom.

watch last night and there is a reason you don't know who she is, the story she is a part of wasn't a big story because of her efforts and what she did. there was a drunk driver going 100 miles per hour into a race where runners were completely vulnerable, she put her patrol vehicle in the way of that 100-mile-per-hour speeding car and crashed it, sacrificed potentially her life. she lived and she's doing great. if she did not do that, we would have talked about a much different story where potentially tens if not hundreds would have been killed by the driver. >> carley: forgotten men and women are forgotten no more, the theme of the evening, beautiful evening. we have an award recipient coming on, colonel don patten received the ultimate patriot award. he is a veteran and has done

>> kevin: good morning, some have suggested an investigation into the biden family and hunter biden's laptop is nothing more than political revenge and congressional oversight run amuck, but for republicans on capitol, investigations are about national security, the rule of law and answering a pivotal question. is the president of the united states compromised? if the answer is yes, they argue the big guy, as joe biden is referred to in several e-mails on that laptop, he needs to be impeached. as far as what they are talking about and looking at, there are a number of issues related to hunter biden that the gop is said to be lookingal. here are a few that stand out. hunter's foreign deals involving 50 countries, a lot of cash if that is the case. they insist their bank accounts

were co-mingled. really? the white house spending quarter million to deflect damaging stories? know ares say part of the problem frankly in this whole mess lies at the feet of investigators at the doj. >> if the fbi and justice department stayed out and let we the people decide who should represent and lead us, that is supposed to be how america works. >> our investigation is about joe biden and we have evidence that would point joe biden was involved with hunter biden. >> kevin: you'll recall the president said he had nothing to do and didn't know about hunter biden business dealings and the white house say republicans top priority is to go after president biden with politically motivated attacks chalked full of long, debunked conspiracy theories, president biden is not going to let political attacks
