necessary to restore public trust. karol markowicz joining us now. good morning, karol. how do you think it would go on this one story for twitter to open up, you know, throw open the doors, lit up the cover show us what went down in 2020? >> good morning, will. i think it's so important for elon to do this. i think the average american might be thinking why do i care? why do i care if the president's son smokes cracks with scantily clad women and it's found on a laptop? the thing is that story was shut down all across social media. how much was the biden campaign involved? who else was involved? we need to have that kind of information to move forward, and i think elon musk has a really positive streak where he wants to leave the world a better place than he found it. that sounds aud idealistic but i believe he has the best interest of the public at heart, and i think what he's doing here is trying to restore a very important trust that has been

deeply broken over the last few years, over the last decade, and i really appreciate it. will: you know, that is one story, and it was perhaps, i don't know that i can say with certainty, it might have been the most egregious, but there's so many stories that we know where are suppressed or censored or so many individuals. i would like to see, and i would hope that elon musk would reveal, exactly the extent of the censorship on twitter. >> right. absolutely. i mean, look, when we saw the president of the united states be kicked off twitter and, you know, that was kind of a big deal at the time. i think that we need to know what happened there. who pressed for that? who pushed for these decisions? let's name names. let's hear who was actually responsible for this. i really think it would go a long way towards people trusting again, trusting everything, trusting our systems, trusting our government. i think that right now is at an all time low and it deserves to be because we've been lied to for so long. will: here's, karol, where i

joins us now. corey, welcome. i'm glad to see jeb is putting op-ed out now and he talks about a mom who said my kid can't read and i didn't realize he wasn't being taught to read in class because she found out going on zoom he wasn't being taught to read. >> that's right. they're not focusing on the basics because they don't have an incentive to do so. at least, look, the kids are learning woke ideology in the schools; right. perhaps they can identify as learning how to read and that'll solve all their problems; right? obviously it won't much the only way to fix the problems is to give the schools an incentive to cater to the needs of families as opposed to the other way around and the best way to do that is to fund the stunt directly with school choice and empower families to choose the education providers that one, best align with their values and two, best meet their needs in other ways. the house republicans had a commitment to american education

plan they just laid out a couple of months ago in 2022, and they included school choice. passing the school choice bill like educational choice for children act. rachel: so, that's interesting because arizona just passed, you know, a revolutionary bill really attaching their state money to the child so i think at $7 or $8,000 per child and they can take it anywhere they want. it's not means tested and every child gets it. are you saying congress could pass something similar so the federal funds are attached to the child? >> yeah, there's a couple of bills floating around already. rand paul has the school act, bill cassidy from louisiana has the educational choice for children act, and these are ways to take an arizona-style approach to expand school choice to kids all across the country and that's how we have an american focus on education. the best way to do this again is from the bottom up and allow for

true accountability and to give schools an incentive to dot right thing. the house republicans should follow through with this. rachel: i think there's an -p hit for it -- appetite for it. i really do. i think this should be job number one in congress and can't think of anything more important. our schools got $200 billion, the unions were able to subtract $200 billion in covid and holoing our kids ransom and didn't even open the schools, corey. >> yeah, they held children's education hostage to secure multiple multibillion payments from the taxpayer and it's absolutely ludicrous and pans parents have woken up and we cannot continue sending our children to see saratoga for their education and -- cesar for their education and be surprise when had they come home as romans and parents are no longer surprised and they've seen what's happened and they're woken up and pushing back at
