4:08 am
their automotive industry which we need because we can't produce enough cars here for us. why we import so many. as a matter of fact some of our companies produce cars in other countries but the problem there is stifling innovation. what you do when you stifle competition in a market, what kind of innovation would those traditional gas car companies come up with if we are propping up the latest and greatest green car out there, electric car out there? another thing on the oil and gas side of it, oil and gas costs four times as much for them because there is not as much of it because they're not producing more of it. so the same problem they have americans have. and so there is kind of a correlation there where it really comes back to this biden administration pushing green policies while at the same time playing a role in how europe gets their energy and how prices are set there. rachel: yeah you know we're subsidizing ev vehicles which are going to make us more dependent on china.
