i am arthel neville. >> i'm brian. and for eric shawn. the past few months have been remarkable. protesters calling for an end to pandemic lockdowns chanting we want freedom. some are even calling for president xi jinping and the communist party to step down. alexandria. >> you would have to look back decades to find such a direct challenge to the chinese government's authority. the situation has escalated where protests resume today. police seen at times shoving demonstrators. calling for an end to continuous lockdowns of repeated covid-19 testing. these rare acts of defiance have been coupled with bold chance. some commanding that xi jinping and his communist party step down.

the crime scene. what do police mean when they say victim has been targeted. i know what i meant when i was in the behavioral analysis unit and i said a victim was targeted i'm not sure they are using the same definition. there are two elements to a crime. they get blended together to understand the scene. the second area that they are looking at is does this offender have a history of going into people's homes and are using that knife in other circumstances. did they use a knife on previous human victims? there is an air of confidence at this offender shows going into a house occupied by six adults. that level of confidence tells me that this person has been in other people's before. that is not a one-time situation the second think that i will say
