>> greg: basically he is quiet quitting still there. so jesse, china has been pushing the zero covid policy claiming it is superior to us and all about lockdowns, isn't it weird that over here you see the left siding with an authoritarian regime with the most authoritarian of practices? >> let me remind you of a poll taken during the pandemic of democrats that wanted to 0-covid policy, a majority wanted to fine americans for not getting vaccinated. a majority of democrats wanted to require citizens who do not get vaxxed to stay inside their homes. half of democrats wanted to fine or in prison people for questioning the vaccine. imagine getting thrown in prison for questioning a vaccine. half of democrats were favoring government tracking program for people that weren't too vaxxed and a third of democrats wanted to remove the children from parents who did not get vaxxed.

teller reunion instinct to control people. and when you see what is going on in china and there is a good reason for that, because of the lockdown all 11 people died in an apartment fire because they cannot get to the people. but we are seeing people in china revolting and actually coming out and saying xi jinping has to go, and now we are seeing women in iran saying you know what's, the ayatollah has to go, and you have people in the united states that are going to say, jesse, just like you were saying we have had it. we were shut down, if we went to the hairdressers were supposed to be jailed, you remember that hairdresser that was going to be jailed? we are fed up with that, and you know what, we found out that in states where there were into lockdowns, people really survived and they did fine. and then in new york city when people were told to stay together, people were staying together and in a lot of trouble

any policies or politicians, but i think that her feet are doing the talking here. and she is going to walk away come the jobs will be there. and the people won't have a nice place to shop and she does have another business and is an entrepreneurial person, so now it's going to go ahead and do that. the other thing is that alvin bragg, who i'm sure the judge has a lot more on this, but when he is trying to defend himself he is blaming policies that he actually supports. so one of them for example, he says the discovery piece, the discovery, that's how long it takes to get information in the case, well, he supported the new discovery rules, so he is blaming and trying to defend himself saying that the policies that are supported are the ones that are causing the problem and therefore not at fault, that is some circular logic. >> jesse: what kind of track record are those for a prosecutor? >> judge jeanine: very glad you asked that, jesse, because i called my former public information officer to find out what it was we had when i was a

district attorney, but let me say that calling alvin bragg a d.a. is like calling jeffrey dahmer of egan, okay? this guy does not prosecute crime, he forgives crime and the whole concept of he is complaining about the new discovery laws which are clearly a burden on prosecutors across the state almost an impossible burden because of the information that has to be done in a very short period of time should be easy for him, because he has more money than any d.a.'s office around in the country, but let's talk about it. alvin bragg reduces more than 50% of his felonies to misdemeanors. and we don't know what the conviction rate is of the misdemeanors. are they then dismissed? are they adjourned in contemplation of dismissal? are they reduced to a violation? we don't know what happens to them? so let me just find the text that they told me, here we go.

show before, the picture, the stories, they can't -- they are just overwhelming the numbers, these statistics. democrats enjoy a lopsided advantage in new york city in terms of the registration of voters, but we doggone near lost the race for governor and we certainly lost a route to let mack a lot of congressional seats. if i told you three months ago that congressional republicans had new york state to think for them having the majority in the house, we might've laughed about it or said maybe that and a few other states, that's the case, not only did democrats in new york state go out and vote against the democrat, they voted for a republican who denied the outcome of last election, why? because public safety and crime are incredibly important to people of all backgrounds wherever they may live in the state. we will not enjoy this advantage if we continue to take in the lackadaisical and irresponsible way as we go about talking about these issues. i know alvin bregman and i like him personally. i would much rather have him or for that matter anyone in office

sit back and say what's working, what's not working? what more do i need to make more things work, and who are the people who are not making things work? i should get rid of them or the programs that are not working on behalf of people across this great city. it across this great girl, at the end of the day, a lot of people in manhattan regardless of these numbers do not feel safe we have to address those issues, not only for the democratic party, but for the sake of the city. speed on what is working and what isn't? how about you prosecute crime. >> harold: i want him to do it. >> judge jeanine: how about prosecute crime, it's not rocket science. >> jesse: so he knows alvin bragg personally. >> greg: there is nobody that harold does not like. >> harold: there are a few people, they go unnamed. >> greg: just because i left early. you won't let me forget, i always try to do strategic empathy, but it's impossible.

because what if the person never argues about the data. when you can't actually emphasize -- empathize coming want to point to the recidivism and the misery caused by that, and harold, you agree, you talk about it. but the response is a variation of you have to break some eggs to make an omelette, unfortunately those eggs are hens in new york city, and it is a long term kind of goal for police reform and they are willing to accept these casualties that we aren't, and it is getting worse. meanwhile the media only sees the back end of a story, not the front end, so now they are reporting on crime, but if they are only there when the story began, when they started talking about belo pro form, this would've been a bigger story, it's like -- they are not reporting the news anymore, they are reacting to the news and i think that social media has turned journalists into outrage detectors more than they are journalists, so they report on crime like it is weather. they don't report on it like it is actually a real thing.
