to deliver. i'll yield to my good friend and amazing colleague, the incoming house democratic whip from the commonwealth of the great state of massachusetts, katherine clark. >> thank you, hakeem. good afternoon. i am so honored to be here with our leader elect jeffries and caucus chair pete aguilar. it is truly humbling to be the next whip for the 118th congress and to get to do it with such an incredible team, and as hakeem referenced, we as a team and as a caucus reflect the diversity and the strength of the american people. and that is where we are able to come together around shared values and reflect back to
10:01 am
american families that they are the priority. they are who we will bring to the leadership table with us. their stories, their -- >> john: katherine clark, democratic representative from the state of massachusetts just elected the whip of the democratic caucus along with hakeem jeffries, the new incoming minority leader, making history as the first african american minority leader and the first woman to serve as the democratic whip. on we go to the next session of congress with history being made. >> sandra: indeed. we will monitor the news conference and bring news as it comes in. >> john: great way to kick off the show. meantime, big tech under attack on several fronts, as political dissent intensifies in china over strict covid policies, the government heightening the surveillance of citizens and apple restricted the use of the air drop service which
10:02 am
protestors relied on to bypass beijing's online censorship. >> and apple facing backlash that they may remove twitter from their app store. is big tech overstepping boundaries, lindsey graham and mark warner, they'll both respond coming up. >> john: begin "america reports" with wednesday afternoon, severe weather battering the south, leaving at least two people dead. rain, high winds and hail part of a storm system that spawned tornadoes across three states. i'm john roberts in washington, and sandra, look at you today. epitome of coordination. >> sandra: thank you, i think. thanks, john. good to be with you, and that is some weather we are watching there and a lot of destruction
10:03 am
that is leaving in its path, the threat of severe thunderstorms sticking around as that system moves east, threatening the florida panhandle, southern alabama and georgia. havoc across gulf states. to people were killed when a tornado struck north of montgomery. >> john: mississippi, floodwaters washed away the middle portion of a bridge. max gordon is live in bassfield, mississippi with the latest on the storms. how are folks there? did they fare all right? >> yeah, folks here in bassfield said this is a pretty scary situation. the severe weather rolled in late yesterday afternoon and they believed a tornado caused the destruction here. we see this shed that's been crumpled up, seen trees snapped in half. unfortunately, bassfield is no stranger to tornadoes. back in 2020, ef-4 hit this
10:04 am
county, after severe weather across the south, lightning lighting the sky and trains of storms spawning twisters from tuesday afternoon and into the night. more than 30 reports of damaging winds, reports of hail the size of golf balls and limes and 25, at least, reports of tornadoes. majority of the tornadoes were reported in mississippi and alabama. montgomery county emergency management director confirmed two people in alabama died after a tornado ripped through the area in the early morning hours. injuries in caldwell parish, louisiana, scenes of destruction in the daylight across the south, clean-up and power restoration efforts underway. >> this is a close knit neighborhood, phone calls have been made. the clean-up will be secondary to try to get the power back on. there has been a lot of power restored already. >> the national weather service
10:05 am
will be out surveying the damage confirming the strength of these tornadoes. luckily the weather forecast for the coming days is a whole lot more calm. guys, back to you. >> john: looks like a beautiful day where you are right now. max gordon, fox weather. for continuing coverage, tune into fox weather by downloading the app free, and use the phone to scan the qr code on the screen if you are very quick, up for a couple more seconds and get fox weather that way, too. >> freedom of expression. >> freedom of expression. >> sandra: students at colleges across america are standing in solidarity with the protestors in china as the communist party cracks down on the dissent against its severe covid lockdown policies, but while global support for the protest is growing, the white house is still refusing to fully support the movement and protestors calls for president xi to
10:06 am
relinquish power. we have complete coverage. virginia senator mark warner, but first white house correspondent jacqui heinrich is live on the north lawn. how serious is the white house taking the protests, jacqui? >> sandra, china experts say the widespread protests are a threat to president xi jinping's rule, prompting concerns he could call for or carry out a bloody, brutal crackdown like 1989 tiananmen square. if it happens, it would force president biden to put democracy at the front of his policy, and it could fray relations between the u.s. and china, undermining the strategic interests in maintaining that relationship. china hawks are saying now is the time for the white house to take a harder line against this. >> this is not just some protest on a college campus in america or european capital. these chinese are protesting the world's most powerful,
10:07 am
dangerous, total tar yan government. >> these people want to be the most powerful in the world. if they do it to their own people, what would they do to you? >> the white house is defending the response, unnamed officials said a stronger u.s. response could lead the chinese government to turn the focus on the united states and allege foreign interference rather than address the frustrations of the protestors, and the u.s. has an interest in maintaining a base level of cooperation with china. an economic partner compared with iran where the u.s. has little trade, little cooperation and has voiced support for protestors. they did not call for regime xhang and even downplayed the significance of the calls. >> we are not taking a side in terms of what the protestors about. largely, though, steve, you know, these protestors are really out there about the
10:08 am
lockdown. their main concern, what drove them to the streets was the very severe, stringent covid policies by xi's administration. >> already the chinese foreign ministry has criticized the u.s. response for being too forceful, and mocked the number of deaths in this country and claimed they are trying to protect the lives of their citizens, sandra. >> sandra: all right, jacqui heinrich, by the way, some news here, john, the a.p. reporting the house has passed the bill to avert the economically punishing rail strike threatened for december 9th, deadline is quickly approaching. the measure now waits a senate vote. >> john: with that, bring in mark warner, also the chair of the senate intelligence committee. senator, thanks for being with us. we'll ask you about the rail strike but first continue with jacqui heinrich's fine reporting. you saw the white house is getting criticized for the tepid
10:09 am
response, and john kirby said we are not going to put words into their mouths, they are speaking for themselves. should the president's response in support of the protestors be more robust, in your estimation? >> first of all, john, what we are seeing on the streets of china i think reinforces the point i've been trying to make and nobody on the democratic side town than i have, our beef is not with the chinese people, our beef is with the communist party, xi jinping and the authoritarian rule. we need t stand with the protestors but i hope we will get to the question about technology companies, both american and in china, because what's happening on the streets of china, people are standing up not only against the covid lockdown, but all those images of people holding up white sheets of paper are about chinese censorship, and i can tell you chinese propaganda machine is great at turning anything they can and
10:10 am
manipulating anything they can to say this genuine protest on the streets of china somehow driven out of the west, or driven by the united states. i think there is a delicate line we need to watch, particularly over the next couple of days. one of the things that should have been in your reporting, just overnight the previous chinese leader died and what we have seen, he was the leader that took over after tiananmen square and often times in china's history when you have funerals about preceding leaders, and he opened up china to the west, clearly xi is doing the opposite. the worst thing for the chants and the protestors to start making movement would be somehow if you start to see this broaden, this protest broaden for it to be manipulated on chinese media as somehow acting at the, in the best interest of the united states. >> sandra: senator, we hear you on that but the white house is
10:11 am
refusing to comment on the anti-xi chants that are happening. you are talking about a delicate line that needs to be balanced here. where do you stand on whether or not xi should be in power in the first place? >> i think, i am very clear, that the ccp and communist party of china and president xi are one of the most authoritarian brutal regimes in the whole world and that they, and one of the reasons from the intel side, i was one of the first guys to call out huawei, and we need to bring the semiconductor business from china to here. and we have to make sure america and the west wins technology battles. i'm all in on trying to move towards change. i'm not, on the short-term, trying to see this genuine protest on the streets of china be turned by the communist party leadership into somehow a manipulation by the american,
10:12 am
that is not the case. but one of the reasons why we ought to be calling out apple on when they are limiting the tools for the chinese people. it's one of the reasons why one of my biggest concerns with elon musk and twitter is the fact that mr. musk is entirely dependent for the success of tesla, his biggest enterprise, on the communist party of china. that's where he gets his electric batteries, a lot of haddis production, and the chinese government will use any tool they can, domestic or otherwise, to continue their reign. >> john: with respect, senator, not just elon musk getting product from china. i mean, it's where most of our products come from. >> one of the reasons -- but john, one of the reasons we need to bring the semiconductors back, not making electric batteries in china, ought to be making them elsewhere in the world, we have to be willing to call out and that's why i mentioned that on the front end,
10:13 am
western companies are doing in effect bidding of the communist party, should concern us all. >> john: one of the things we will be talking later on, pentagon says china wants to triple the number of nuclear warheads by 2035, and american consumers are paying for them. the rail strike looks like it's going to be averted because of congressional action. unions were highly critical of the move that president biden made yesterday kicking this over to congress. rail workers union saying unfortunately the most labor friendly president has opted to side with big business and call for thwarting of railroad workers right to strike. obviously, senator, a railroad strike could happened as soon as the 9th could be devastating to the economy. are you comfortable with congress stepping in and stopping this? >> what i find interesting, and the union leadership, i'm going to be getting more briefings i think the next 24 hours on this, the union leadership is split.
10:14 am
12 railway units all agree with this agreement. four of those unions, i think the membership then said and an issue about the fact that if you work and you don't get any paid sick days, that does not make a lot of sense to me. i would like an understanding why that was not negotiated, they went through 2 or 3 rounds. at the end of the day, and i would much rather have this, a longer business experience than virtually anybody in the senate, i would rather have this settled between the parties at hand. the worst thing for the economy at this moment would be a rail strike. >> sandra: appears to be a coordinated attack on elon musk, whom you just mentioned, elon musk, twitter, teams to be coming from the political left, the corporate left, senator, here is the press secretary to president biden on twitter saying we are also -- all keeping a close eye on this.
10:15 am
meaning twitter. we are all monitoring what is currently occurring and we see, you know, we see it with our own size what you are seeing for yourself happening at twitter. that was at a briefing. is it the role of the white house to say we are keeping an eye how a private company is behaving? >> sandra, what i'm interested in and concerned what's happening with tiktok and the parent company, bite dance, amount of propaganda and information sucking from young americans and working with my friend marco rubio on that. if you look at mr. musk, i have great respect for his entrepreneurship, we do a lot of business with spacex, the united states government, what i'm concerned about, mr. musk,
10:16 am
complimentary of the communist party, the chinese regulator, stuck it to any kind of american regulator, he's got that right. what i'm concerned about and i would hope you would be as well, if he is so dependent on the communist party, i'm not as concerned what he does or doesn't do with donald trump on twitter, if the communist party says we don't want twitter traffic that defames xi jinping or not good things about the communist party. and facebook, in burma, they sided with the regime there and resulted in genocide to an ethnic group of folks in burma, the ability for government influence on social media, if you are not concerned about that, sandra, i would be disappointed. >> john: no evidence thus far that he is pulling back at all on china. let me just come back before we let you go here, to the rail
10:17 am
strike. another measure voted on in the house would provide for the paid sick leave, attached to the bill, that would come over to the senate. you could vote on the stand alone bill without the sick leave or vote on the sick leave as well. will you support paid sick leave for the rail workers if the measure comes over to the senate? >> listen, i want to get a better understanding. i know some republican colleagues said they don't want to sign on any agreement that the workers don't agree with. that's why i wish it was settled between management and labor in a negotiation, they thought they had a deal, the white house intervened, i think it moved it more pro towards the workers and the workers themselves went against their own union management. i want to get more data on that. and i wonder again why, you know, we have seen a decrease since covid of about 25% of the
10:18 am
rail workforce. frankly, this would not be as much of an issue if the railroads brought back a few workers, so the folks when they got sick would not end up delaying the traffic that goes across our freight rail systems across the country. many teams are sent out for two weeks at a time and a slight number of workers, you know, you get a couple folks sick you cannot do your job. and why i have to get more information before i answer your question. why didn't we get in some negotiations brung back some of the workers with more flexibility. >> sandra: it's a big concern for a lot of those workers for sure. senator, appreciate you joining us on all that. >> john: i always appreciate the chance to talk to my senator directly on television. not a chance many people get. >> sandra: good way to get your questions answered. marc thiessen next hour, and lindsey graham, a jam packed couple hours. >> john: china adding to the nuclear war chest at a stunning
10:19 am
pace. a new pentagon report is raising the alarm. how does president biden need to respond? former secretary of state mike pompeo ahead to weigh in on that. >> sandra: and idaho investigators seizing cars at the home of four college students but took them more than three weeks to do that? why did it take so long? we'll ask nancy grace, she's here. >> i definitely feel a little bit nervous walking around campus by myself. i have an evening class i walk to in the dark and come home from in the dark, and i have my roommates take me to that now. gas, groceries, everything's costing more. if you're a veteran homeowner and need cash, call newday and use your powerful va home loan benefit. it lets you borrow up to 100% of your home's value, not just 80%. and with home values near record highs, you could have a lot more cash than you think. at newday, you could take out an average of $60,000 to pay down high rate credit cards, consolidate personal loans, and car loans. call now.
10:24 am
violent plot, stewart rhodes along with a subordinate is a major victory for the justice department, those involved with the january 6th on the capitol. he faces up to 20 years behind bars. >> john: police have towed five cars away from the home where four students were stabbed to death three weeks ago. fox team coverage now, nancy grace joining us with her thoughts on the investigation and the crime in just a moment. but first christina coleman is live in moscow, and you spoke to a student who lives near the crime scene? >> hi, john, that's right. i just spoke to a couple of students including one young woman who says she is terrified, she goes home at night, lives near where the murders took place, she's really worried but also says she is grateful that this community, the university is going to have a large vigil tonight, thousands of people are expected to show up, and so
10:25 am
she's happy to have that support there at this event. now, take a look at this video from last night. college of southern idaho in twin falls. hundreds of students, staff and local residents held a vigil in remembrance of the four slain students. the shock and brutality of the november 13th murders having a sweeping emotional impact on students across the state and country. yesterday the university of idaho dean of students told fox news the vigils of part of the healing process. >> creating a space where we can all come together to support one another and shine a light and love and support on the families of these victims is so important. they are just, my heart breaks for their families and we want them to feel the love they can from this experience. >> as far as the investigation is concerned, a spokesperson for idaho state police tells fox digital the collection of
10:26 am
evidence is coming to a conclusion. yesterday afternoon cars belonging to the slain victims were towed away from the off campus home where the students were murdered. a total of five vehicles were seized from the house and taken to a long-term storage location to be processed for evidence to help solve this case, and like many here in the community, the parents of kaylee are desperate for answers to try to come to terms with the lives cut short from the brutal violence. >> i haven't earned the ability to grieve the way that i want to grieve. i want to be able to have justice first. >> and again, there is a beefed up security presence here on this campus. like i said, a lot of students are still nervous because this killer is still on the loose. john. >> john: christina coleman, thank you. sandra. >> sandra: joining us now, nancy grace, host of "crime stories" on fox nation.
10:27 am
good to have you on this. three weeks in, why is there no suspect? >> you know, i have worked many crime scenes where there were multiple crime victims. 3, 4 crime victims. when you have a stabbing on just one victim, that crime scene is covered in blood. very often with a stabbing, especially with a fixed blade knife, and that's important, because with a fixed blade knife you have an hilt that crosses the knife, and often times he will cut himself. i stay him, statistically men commit knifings, not women. also, statistically, people murder in their own race, which leads me to believe that this killer is a white male. now, back to the crime scene. even one knifing is a bloody mess of a crime scene. and you are looking very careful, think bit, you see a
10:28 am
pool of blood. how do you know the defendant's blood is not in there. they have to get the blood out of the crime scene, into the lab, under the microscope, and then look at it to determine and have it tested, is there multiple dna in that. now, multiply that times four. a brutal stabbing, many victims were stabbed more than once. why is it taking so long? this is to be expected, and one crime scene i consulted on took two weeks and there were four victims, right. a case i had three murder victim, it took a week to fully process the scene and then later we went back and found more evidence. don't rush it. it's not like csi, at the end of the hour, bam, you have an answer and put in four commercial breaks, it's not like that. >> john: the father of kaylee gonsalves, saying the police did give him some more information
10:29 am
about the murder weapon. detectives said probably something the killer paid money for and something that they are proud of. so it's not like the killer maybe grabbed a knife out of the kitchen drawer, and one of the things that police were said to be looking for soon after murders occurred was a k-bar knife, standard issue for the marines for decades, fit the description about a long fixed blade with a handle and an hilt. >> another reason i think there is an hilt, because when a fixed blade knife, it does not have to be military for anybody that goes camping or rving or hunting, you always see then going arounds, no offense, with a sheath on their waist. that's what i'm talking about. military, hunting, camping, wildlife. but with that kind of murder you will see a hilt bruise where it leaves a bruise. i think we will find that and he's right.
10:30 am
you don't just have that as you said in your kitchen drawer. you got to go buy that, and they have been going to knife stores looking for recent purchases. >> sandra: when you just think about the absolute horror for these families who still have no answers, nancy, also to the point of the father saying this about his wife's biggest fear, part of the reason they didn't have a funeral for their daughter is because she could not be guaranteed that that monster was going to not be there. they didn't have a funeral for their daughter because there's no suspect and the wife feared that that person might actually show up, nancy. >> absolutely. and she's right. because if police are right on with their determination this is a targeted killing, that means the killer knew at least one of these victims and i predict one of the female victims, knew them or in their sphere, their orbit. i don't mean boyfriend, husband,
10:31 am
ex. i mean, it could be a delivery person, somebody in their classes, which sadly, for the police, everybody has gone home, a lot of people are not coming back. they are learning on remote. if the killer is one of them, a perfect reason not to come back, right? because he's going remote. another thing we know that some cars were just towed, and everybody is screaming why are the five cars just being towed, who do they belong to? pretty obvious the four victims and probably the roommate, five people lived there. so i think those are the five residents' cars. they are looking, did the killer touch it, did he sit in it, did he urinate on the tire, we don't know, and they are taking those cars to a state facility with idaho police where they can be very carefully combed over with a fine tooth comb for any evidence, that's all. >> john: the father of kaylee
10:32 am
also gave us insight into the murders themself, saying they were fast, nobody suffered and nobody felt that kind of pain. you know, i've been wondering what is so puzzling about this, six in the house, four were killed, the other, apparently while they slept, the other two were never alerted to anything amiss in the house. how do you kill four people without alerting anybody else in the house? >> two thoughts. number one, ted bundy. he snuck into the house and bludgeoned people and other girls slept through it. you are dead asleep, the two survivors were on the bottom floor, kind of the basement, for lack of a better term. they may not have heard what was going on upstairs. and so what the father said, and i speak from experience after the murder of my fiance', i like to imagine he did not feel anything, that it was over just like that, he blacked out. i don't know if that's true, but
10:33 am
that's what i like to think. in this case, it may actually be accurate. they were asleep, and the next thing they know they are being stabbed in the torso, means the heart, the lung and you die very quickly. but i hope that he's right. i hope they felt no pain. but if i have to look at it objectively, i think they did feel pain and fear. >> sandra: nancy, we'll let you go. you think they are going to find this guy, or gal? >> h-e-l-l yes. >> sandra: thanks for joining us. >> john: we hope you are right, nancy. thank you. >> likewise. >> john: this just continues to be so puzzling, who was responsible, why it occurred and why police don't know yet. >> sandra: and absolutely heartbreaking for the families with no answers at this point. we hope perhaps they know a little more than the public is being told, the other side of this, you know, campus life is trying to go on and a lot of parents are saying we are not sending our kids back to the school with this person on the
10:34 am
loose, and that's tough. >> john: like many -- millions of dads in this country, i sent a daughter off to college, college in charleston, a beautiful place, never once ever thought she would run into any kind of trouble. so you can't imagine what the parents are going through. >> sandra: tough, tough, very tough. disturbing report from the pentagon, china is on pace to triple its nuclear stockpile by 2035. could build 1500 warheads in that time frame up from estimated 400 plus warheads in the possession right now. it comes as u.s. officials warn china is trying to establish the capability to invade and hold taiwan some time in the next five years. joining me now is the former secretary of state mike pompeo, mr. secretary, great to spend time with you this afternoon. one of the questions i have and i sort of alluded to this with senator mark warner, is china is going to triple its nuclear warhead arsenal, and that's going to be paid for by american
10:35 am
consumers. when is the united states going to consider the fact that our very intense trade relationship and economic relationship with china is fueling its desires to surpass this global super power? >> john, great to be with you. trump administration, we understood that. we changed the 40 year trajectory of america, better for america, we found that to be fundamentally untrue. the biden administration is headed back that way, president biden travel today bali and said gosh, we are not competing with them. john, 1500 nuclear warheads is a competition and they have been at economic war with the united states for a long time. we need to confront it seriously. i hope the biden administration and our commercial business leaders here in america will begin to get that. >> john: so when do you think xi jinping could move on taiwan, and if he did choose to make that move, what would it look like?
10:36 am
conventional wisdom is a full frontal invasion on taiwan, but many military analysts believe that's not the way it will take place. >> john, i'm with those analysts. i think that's less likely. your point about the when is kind of unknowable, but make no mistake, xi jinping has made very clear we should take him at his word. his intention, he uses the word reunify, but what he really means is grab an independent nation. we should be helping the taiwanese prepare for that, and i think xi jinping's intentions are slowly, take an island, blockade, certainly use espionage inside the country, he took the freedom away from the people in hong kong, he will do it in taiwan and exert so much political influence he will have achieved his aim. we have to do all we can to help the taiwanese people do all they can to prevent it from happening. we can deter them, we are not
10:37 am
vices, we can do better. >> john: this pentagon report did not just look ahead to 2035, but far into the future and said in part this, prc, the great rejuvination by 2029, expand the power, perfect governance and revise the international order in support of beijing system of governance and national interests. in other words, they want to take over. >> yeah. let me try that shorthand. they want the world to look like their country. they want it to be a surveillance state, want it to be governed by them. they use the term rejuvination, the great struggle. call themselves the middle kingdom for the reason, xi jinping is intent on getting that. and we can watch the struggles, the protests inside of china, it's not a place we should allow
10:38 am
the world to go. xi jinping is serious about it, you can see it with the military build-up. our defenses and the partners and friends in asia, pacific, europe, around the world are with us in this fight for freedom. america can get it right, they are not ten feet tall. we just simply cannot continue down the path that we have for the past 40 years. >> john: mr. secretary, in terms of the threats that the united states faces, you threw something into the mix the other day, you said randi weingarten, the president of the american federation of teachers is the most dangerous person in america, you framed that in terms of the issue of foreign policy. you said in the new york post today, this focus on indoctrination of education is why weingarten and the leftist establishment she represents is so dangerous. malfeasance directly empowers xi, putin and others who look to our schools to accelerate the
10:39 am
decline which they build their global narrative. i mean -- that sounds like a lot of responsibility for a teachers' union president. >> look, john, we have watched the teachers' unions during the lockdowns, my article talks about the place we find ourself and the global standing for educating our kids, and we know, too, we are not even teaching that america is an exceptional nation. we are undermining the very foundation of our nation inside our schools and the teachers' union and randi weingarten in particular have been at this for did he indicates. we'll confront xi jinping, battle vladimir putin, we'll figure out a way with chairman kim. if we get it wrong in our schools, if the teachers' union take away power from parents and don't give the parents the capacity to know what the kids are learning and don't teach civics and real history, foundational ideas of the country, lincoln talked about it, the founders talked about
10:40 am
it, the nation crumbles from within, not a foreign adversary, i believe that to be true and teachers' union are undermining the very ideas in the k-12 system today. >> john: she fires back saying you are just trying to win a republican primary. you challenged her to a debate. why do you want to debate her? >> i think it would be important for the american people to see if we should give power to parents or to randi weingarten. teach real civics, that the constitution is noble, the nation is not racist, i'm happy to have that debate. she and the threat the teachers' unions pose to the students is real and something we have to confront. >> john: mr. secretary, look forward to that debate if and when it happens. >> yes, sir, so long. have a good afternoon, sir. >> sandra: that would be interesting, and such an important conversation and topic to cover for our audience. i know i speak for my family and
10:41 am
so many listening, you have teachers in your family, we love our teachers, and 99.9% of the teachers want to do the best and back to the basics, teaching in the classroom and so much distraction for them to do their job and they want to get back to that, john. >> john: no question about that. as a parent for me, the most important thing the kids are prepared for life, and that means the ability to be able to read, write, do math. >> sandra: absolutely, amen. all right, team u.s.a. star player taking one for the team, john. >> big run, snuck in behind, in the middle, score! paid the price, u.s. takes the lead. >> sandra: amazing goal, helped propel the u.s. into the knockout stage of the cup. does christian think he will be ready for the next big game
10:42 am
against the netherlands. >> john: after being released from the hospital, he was partying last evening. new york city mayor eric adams voluntarily hospitalizing mentally ill homeless people, and getting serious pushback from democrats. and one talks about why he says the plan goes too far. >> it is appropriate to use this process when a person refuses voluntary assistance and are a danger to themselves due to an inability to meet their basic needs. with today's home values near record highs, the newday 100 va cash out loan is helping veterans homeowners get more money than they've ever imagined. cut your expenses by paying down high rate credit cards, personal loans, even car loans. and at newday, we look at your total picture. when banks say no to a veteran, newday can say yes.
