fashion and qanon collide." in other words, you are a crazy person and probably criminal if you notice. this ignited a fire storm that traveled from the internet to fox news, fueled by allegations that the brand condoned child exploitation. why would you think that? just because they were exploiting children in the ad? the teddy bear in bondage gear, ooh, sounds like qanon stuff. have the best night. sean hannity right now. >> sean: can we leave the kids alone? make it really simple. do science, math, history, and computers, let them go home and play in the street. it maybe a key occasionally fight and call of the bad names. that's the way i grew up. tucker, thank you. welcome to "hannity," and tonight we are tracking multiple developed stories. a full hannity investigation tonight into the next democratic house leader. longtime election denier, tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist, and that is hakeem jeffries. plus, we are going to bring you
6:01 pm
the latest bizarre remarks from joe biden. he has totally botched the real work or labor negotiations that he told us he resolved. later, a troubling story out of california where the state's far left government -- get this, they have released thousands. let me repeat -- thousands of dangerous, convicted pedophiles back onto the streets after having served little jail time. but we begin tonight with something very unique to this great country of ours. i think the greatest country god gave man, and that is the united states of america. it's called freedom of speech. in china, iran, many countries around the world, you can be killed or tortured if you express yourself honestly. even democracies in europe and canada, they impose fines and jail time to those who voice or dare to voice opposition or opinions to their government. anything deemed offensive or unpopular. now leftists across the globe hate free speech, they always have and they always will. they believe that their own
6:02 pm
feelings are more important than your freedom. sadly, the same is true of most democrats right here in the u.s. thankfully, because of our great constitution, their authority is limited. still, as the self-anointed gatekeepers of information, they have worked tirelessly to coordinate with big tech, the media mob, to hide opposing viewpoints from you, the american people. and for years, twitter was probably the worst offender of this left-wing censorship campaign, as scores of purple-haired moderators from san francisco where cracking down on tweets that hurt their precious little feelings and went to against their precious political beliefs. of course we all remember the very true "new york post" hunter biden laptop story. the one that twitter censored in the weeks prior to the 2020 presidential election. even the conservative satirical website, "the babylon bee," was banned from the platform because of a joke about a biden
6:03 pm
official. liberals also are largely humorless and they get offended quite easily. but tonight twitter's war on free expression is now officially over, as billionaire elon musk wrote a very large check and purchased the tech giant. he fired the moderators, he is failing to turn the platform into a town square where people on all sides of the political spectrum can actually utter and share and express their opinions and ideas and ideals freely. as elon musk put it, "twitter has failed in trust and safety for very long time and has interfered in elections." twitter 2.0 will be far more effective, transparent, and even-handed. today he also urged americans to cancel cancel culture. needless to say, democrats and there are seething with rage. how dare we cancel cancel culture? take a look. >> republicans say that democrats are picking on elon musk. what is your reaction to that?
6:04 pm
>> elon musk is doing just fine. >> do you think users have a right to freedom of speech, even if what they are saying is wrong or offensive? >> i think that one human being should not decide how millions of people communicate with each other. it doesn't make any difference who that human being is. one human being should not be able to go into a dark room by himself and decide, oh, that person gets heard from, that person doesn't. that's not how it should work. >> sean: keep in mind it was elizabeth warren who had no problem when the site was unilaterally blocking republicans, censoring what was likely an election-changing story about the biden family syndicate. by the way, i'm not exactly sure that a person that faked her race for decades and pretended to be a native american for financial gain should really be lecturing anybody about the integrity of content moderation. but is not only elizabeth warren. even the white house is pledging to keep a close eye on elon musk
6:05 pm
and twitter, and monitor their activities. a close eye? what does that mean? really? is that a threat? either way, apparently it's news to the white house press secretary who is incapable, unable, unwilling to answer basic questions from our own peter doocy. take a look. >> when are you guys going to delete the white house twitter account? >> why would we do that? >> well, you said that you're keeping an eye on twitter because it might not be a suitable platform. so why use it? >> i don't have anything to share on any policy or any changes that we will be making. we have multiple platforms, as you know, that we utilize to communicate with the american people. >> when you say you're going to be monitoring some of the speech on there, if you see something you don't like, would you like to shut twitter down? >> look, when you talk about monitoring, i hate to break it to you, peter -- just like
6:06 pm
everybody else, we very much monitor the news. we pay close attention to everything that you all are reporting. >> sean: actually, it's clear she's not monitoring the news that closely. liberals have been loudly complaining about elon musk for weeks. many ironically have been complaining about him on twitter. now, the course of complaints is so deafening that many democrats are now calling for apple and google to remove twitter from their app store, even though apple's ceo tim cook reiterated apparently earlier today that it's not going to happen with apple. likely afraid that musk will produce an alternative phone company. the petulant little tyrants in western europe, they are also threatening to block twitter if elon musk refuses to agree to their censorship demands. so, is freedom really that scary to the left? think about this. nobody forces you to go on twitter. nobody forces you to read twitter. nobody forces you to have an account on twitter. nobody can force you to do anything with twitter. ever. and that brings us back to the
6:07 pm
hunter biden laptop story, the one that was censored in the weeks before the 2020 presidential election. now, twitter's x safety chief claims that the suppression of that "new york post" article was a mistake. why didn't he say it at the time? of course it wasn't a mistake, was it? now, twitter didn't know if the report was true or fake, and they didn't care? they, like other big social media giants, they wanted trump to lose the election. they wanted biden to win. so they censored the story, and the rest is now history. mission accomplished. the left doesn't care about the truth. they only care about the narratives and their power. sunlight is always the best disinfectant, and that's precisely why they are so angry at elon musk. how dare he say it's going to be a free and open forum? anyway, the white house can go ahead and keep their close eye on elon musk, but it won't matter, because he is about to expose those democrats for the left-wing freedom-hating tyrants that they really are.
6:08 pm
here now with mark, ohio congressman jim jordan. set to meet with the apple ceo, tim cook, tomorrow. apparently they are not going to take twitter off the app store, so that's some good news they are. is it maybe because elon musk threatened to compete with ap apple? >> well, probably so. but it sounds like that meeting went well today. we'll find out tomorrow. let's hope they won't kick apple out of the app store. i think there's some other critical questions we got to ask. like, why did apple change the features on phones in china? why do that for the ccp? and the other key point here, why is apple no longer advertising on twitter, or pulling back some of the ads? have they gone woke? what i want to know, where is the apple that, a few years ago, said they were going to stand up for american privacy? where is the tim cook who told jim comey that there is no way we are giving the fbi backdoor access to people's phones? that's the apple we want to see.
6:09 pm
again, right now we know one thing, sean. the left is at war with the first amendment. the left doesn't want the first amendment anymore. that is the key concern here. the left now says this: if you don't agree with them, you're not allowed to speak. and if you try, they're going to come after you, they are going to threaten you from the white house press room, they are going to threaten a disinformation governance board. that's what scares me to death and scares so many people. so god bless elon musk for what he's doing to this platform, how it's improving and focusing on the first amendment. >> sean: yesterday he promised he would show how twitter in the past has suppressed important vital information. i would believe that might have to do with the hunter biden story, but that is speculation on my part. but he then went on to say twitter has failed in trust and safety for a very long time, and has interfered in elections. interfered in elections. let's talk about that. does that mean in-kind donations?
6:10 pm
does that mean all the big tech companies all got behind joe biden? they never even examined "the new york post" story, as to the truth or veracity of the hunter biden laptop. my question is, if they interfered with elections, is there any illegality in that? >> well, we will find out what they did. but we know what they did relative to the hunter biden story. i thought peter doocy's question was right on target when he asked the white house press secretary, are you going to go weigh in with these tech companies when you find information on these platforms that you don't like? the answer that question is, they already have. they already did. they did it just days before the most important election we have, the presidential election in october of 2020, when the fbi went out and talk to facebook and said, hey, be on the lookout for russian disinformation. that just happened to be at the same time 51 former intel officials, who i'll probably still have their security clearance, had put out this
6:11 pm
letter saying that the hunter biden story has all the earmarks of a russian disinformation operation. so they have already done the very thing peter doocy asked the press secretary about today. >> sean: all right, last question. as the head of the judiciary committee, you will be looking into whether or not our fbi has been politicized and our doj has been weaponize. we expect to hear from as many as 20 whistle-blowers, maybe more. what will the american people here? what is the headline you can give us today? >> i think the american people already know, it has been politicized. we no longer have equal treatment under the law. that's the scariest thing of all. as i've said many times before, we live in the greatest country ever, but america is not america if you have unequal treatment by justice department, unequal treatment under the law, which is what we have. just look at it we can have to go. the guy they picked for special counsel, this guy is as political as they get. he was trying to prosecute jack prosecute -- when he was at the justice department, he is trying to prosecute the very people who had been wronged by lois lerner
6:12 pm
and obama's irs. that's the guy they put in charge of the special counsel investigation. not to mention the countless number of whistle-blowers that have come to us. senator grassley, senator johnson, and they told us about how political that place is now running. >> sean: congressman jim jordan, thank you for being with us. it'll get interesting in january. also breaking tonight, according to foxnews.com, a biden commerce appointee w was a long-time business partner of hunter biden. these are the kinds of stories the biden administration would like censored by big tech and twitter, et cetera. let's not forget that this spring the white house was attempting to set up a new department of government bureaucracy dedicated to working with the social media giants for the purpose of policing information. they called it the disinformation governance board. remember this? and they attempted to appoint that far-left lunatic singing supercalifragilisticexpialidocio us. remember her? to be the board's disinformation
6:13 pm
czar. after widespread outrage, she resigned, and the board was dissolved. i'm sorry, jankowitz. she is now gainfully employed by another country and registered as a foreign agent. if you think this seems incredibly creepy and repressive, you are not alone, and apparently it's even worse. joining us now with mark, missouri senator josh hawley tell us what you are learning. it sounds orwellian and chilling, what they wanted to set up. >> it is, sean. what they have done is lied to us, treated the american people like fools. the secretary of homeland security, alejandro mayorkas, came before congress and said the board never met. don't worry, the board never met. it turns out that's not true. they had a steering committee that was meeting for months that was giving direction to other agencies of the government. we know they tried to set up a meeting with twitter. we know they were meeting with facebook. we know they were coordinating with liberal dark many groups.
6:14 pm
we have the emails now, where dark many groups from the left, these advocacy groups, are sending emails and instructions, memos, to this disinformation board and saying, here's what we think we ought to do. trying to influence the policy. it's the most unbelievable collision you can imagine, sean. they've lied about all of it and now they've said they're not doing anymore. that's not true. what they are doing now as they've got all these different agencies, all across dhs, all across the fbi, the agencies of the government, involved in this so-called disinformation, which is really censorship. >> let me see if i've got this right. they've told you that they didn't meet by may, when in fact they started having meetings as early as february, and you now have the evidence that in fact they lied to you? did they lie to you under oath? >> exactly paid what happened to secretary mayorkas, in response to me, he said, "don't worry, the board never met." in fact, the emails they turned
6:15 pm
over finally, to me, and senator grassley, showed they had a steering committee which was the executive committee of the board, meeting in february. they met on a weekly basis, sean. they were giving instructions to other members of the government. they were communicating with liberal dark money groups. they are setting up meetings with facebook and twitter. so it simply not true they were not meeting or doing anything. of course they way. the sensation station just lied about it, over and over again. because, they don't think they have to tell the truth. they don't believe the first amendment. >> sean: what do we know about these dark money groups that funnel millions of dollars into democratic advocacy groups? what do you know about it? >> well, what we know is these groups, and one major group in particular, was actually sending memos to this disinformation board, apparently advocating for policy. sending it to them -- remember, this board supposedly doesn't even exist yet, and yet the liberal dark money groups know all about it.
6:16 pm
they are emailing policy memos to the disinformation board and saying, "here's what you want to do." he had this collusion between the liberal big money interests, big tech. we know the disinformation board with setting up a special arrangement with the big tech company so they can meet and coordinate their censorship. it's unbelievable stuff, sean, and this administration has lied about it at every turn. >> sean: they said they disbanded this disinformation group. and you have evidence to the contrary, that it's not true? they lied again? >> well, here's what they are doing, sean. in fact, we know from a federal court lawsuit underway right now, a federal judge just rule a few weeks ago that the department of homeland security sits at the nerve center of federally directed censorship. that is a quote. at the nerve center of federally directed censorship. they have a whole operation. according to this judge. according to the facts presented in this case. it involves dhs, it involves the fbi, it involves multiple other agencies that are using their power to track americans, to conduct domestic censorship.
6:17 pm
sean, i think it's illegal, i think it's unconstitutional, and he got to get to the bottom of it and stop it. >> sean: i think this is the first time they'll be held in check and held accountable. senator hawley, thanks for sharing that with us. it's important to know. poor parents, they go to a school board meeting and they speak out about age-appropriate material being taught to their kids, and they of course are going to be investigated. anyway, let's get to the bottom of that. also tonight, while democrats are freaking out over twitter, while many are ignoring the true threat posed by tiktok. keep in mind, tiktok is a chinese-owned app that poses a real serious security threat to the people around the world. two years ago, then-president trump attempted to ban tiktok citing spyware concerns, and he warned the american people against downloading the app. now, even one top democrat is admitting president trump was right about this from the get-go. take a look. >> look, it can't be controlled, for security reasons, by china.
6:18 pm
too big, too invasive, and it can't be. >> i think donald trump was right. tiktok is an enormous threat. >> sean: here with reaction, someone who just see 11 tiktok from state agencies, south dakota governor kristi noem's with us. the governor, great to see you. tell us exactly what you are banning and he was part of the van in the sense that it's all state agencies, any contractors, right? >> yes. sean, yesterday i signed an executive order that would ban downloading the tiktok app or accessing it at all from any state device. it is blocked off of their networks, our servers. any state employee, anyone who contracts with the state of south dakota, anyone who uses any of our systems, they no longer will be able to download or utilize this app because of the national security threat that it is. it will be a criminal offense if they do, because of the threat and the access to personal information that it would jeopardize. so it's important that we take
6:19 pm
action to protect the people of south dakota. and you are talking a lot tonight about twitter, and what elon musk is uncovering with twitter. that's an american-owned company. you look at how they have manipulated algorithms, and think about how china has manipulated the algorithms to spy on the american people and collect data off of them, it is so much worse. they are an enemy, they hate us. this is why it is so important that other elected officials take action, as well. >> sean: you said south dakota will have no part in the intelligence gathering operations of the nations that hate us. he said the chinese communist party is using the information that it's gathering from tiktok to manipulate the american people and gather data off their devices that access their platform. my question is, how do we know that's true, and how deep does it go? for example, if someone were to send me a tiktok and i click on it, i don't have it on my phone. would they have access to information on my phone right now because i did a click on it?
6:20 pm
>> we are uncovering more and more all the time that, yes, they are using that data. that they are using it even could possibly be able to go back and utilize what buttons you pushed on your phone, the passwords you used to access your bank accounts, all that information. the chinese government, the ccp, is collecting that information and using it to spy on the american people, to manipulate the algorithms, to gather information about us, because they hate us and they have a long-term agenda to destroy the united states of america. listen, we know the threat china has been for decades and decades. they have manipulated their currency, still in our ip, built up their military, threatened us, attacked our allies. we know what their agenda is. we have to recognize that they are using this app to gather more and more information from american citizens that they can use to harm us in the future. >> sean: we have known about their unfair trade practices and intellectual property theft when it comes to the chinese. governor, maybe you can explain this to me, because it doesn't
6:21 pm
make any sense to me. we have discovered that the communist chinese, through different llcs, different groups, that they have been buying up american farmland and american ranchland, and often they are buying it next to locations that have military installations. now, we would not be allowed to buy up land in china. my question is, why are we allowing that to happen here? doesn't it seem suspicious that, often, it is next to a military base? >> you are exactly right. they have, and they have a goal to buy up our food supply chain, to buy up land that could threaten our military bases, threaten our ability to defend ourselves. listen, i've talked about this for about 20 years, sean, just because i've been involved in food policy. we saw china come in, buy our manufacturing systems, they are buying up our entire food supply chain. when we don't control our food
