9:05 am
it is not with donor's money. it is with everybody's money. listen to nancy pelosi. the president doesn't have the constitutional authority to forgive debt that takes to congress. my prediction is this will get struck down by the supreme court and will delay the payments until, oh, maybe november 2,024th. the other thing is this is extremely unfair. and i don't need to say it. we've been over it before. but what about the student who didn't go to college and went to trade school instead, bought a truck or paying money to loan a truck. who is paying his loans? when it comes to the president's economic policy, it is like such a circle where he says, "welcome inflation is high and we need to do these large programs and forgive debt." that increases inflation as well so none of this makes sense. >> emily: xs and os, dakin with economic spirits before it is more burdensome than that.
9:06 am
because just the moratorium on making student loan payments, that is inflationary. so that causes the federal reserve to have to raise interest rates even more and to fight the inflation. so the person buying or leasing the new truck has to pay a much higher payment every month while rich people are not making the student loan payments. and so, today, president biden is talking about, "oh, the rich are doing just fine." because they don't have to make the student loan payments. half of all student that is held by the 13% of americans with graduate degrees, doctors, lawyers and people with nbas investment bankers and the like because unlike the debt forgiveness, which has an income cap, this moratorium on making student loan payments has
9:07 am
no income cap rate it has been going on for 33 months. in addition, it is not just the payments. there was no interest accruing on the loan. so, there will never be interest paid over this early two months and counting. so, what does that do? when you refer a loan with no interest on it, interest accruing, it is declining in real value because of the inflation rate. so, that is called inflating your way out of that debt. this is nothing but a hand out. so, it is already -- it is literally canceled about 100 -- just so far, about $150 billion in student debt that is canceled. that is more by the taxpayers. >> harris: can i have a quick follow-up on that? is this anything like the zero interest loans that got us in so much trouble in real estate industry? where you talk about the devaluation of the loan and how much trouble that put us in? when you take away the interest
