he has got good hair and related to nancy pelosi. what more could you want? a state filled with crime, illegals and rampant homelessness is a good track record as far as democrats are concerned. newsom is kicking it up a notch. he wants to launch the most expensive reparations plan in american history. over a half a trillion dollars, a quarter million dollars for any black person whose ancestor faced housing discrimination. how do you know if you failed housing discrimination? well, that's determined by newsom's reparations tank force. to be eligible for cash, you have to be the descendent of any black person born in america born 1900. when someone says reparations, you are probably thinking that cash should go to the families of enslaved black americans. wrong. >> providing reparations only for those who can prove their decency african-americans is yet another win for white primacy as it dismisses and devalues the

harms done to african descendents not enslaved. >> jesse: so that's a lot of people. and it's not just money for housing discrimination. newsom's reparation task force wants to hand out more cash for what they call mass incarceration, unjust property seizures, devaluation of black businesses and access to healthcare. it sounds like this is going to end up costing more than build back better, just a wee bit. this isn't just free money. it's a fortune, a quarter million dollars handout per person. i'm willing to listen to people and believe black americans owed something from a country that enslaved their ancestors. i'm not sure i agree with it but i'm willing to listen and maybe i can be convinced. africans kidnapped from home brought it a foreign land. worked the reps of their lives as slaves. atrocities committed against millions of people. i'm reading a book about slavery

right now. it's called american slavery. and it's considered the preempt meant scholarly work about the institution. and i highly recommend every single american read this book. and with the country already deeply divided, how will slavery reparations impact the relationship between black and whites? do native americans get any money? how about japanese americans? their ancestors were put in internment camps? women were denied equal rights for a long time, are they going to get a check, too? are we going to have to pay back mexico for taking the entire southwest? where does it stop? how much will it cost? these are all legitimate questions because, once you go down this road, the lawyers come out. and basic math tells you we can't afford slavery reparations. $2,000 stimulus checks super charged inflation, what do you think checks for $250,000 are going to do?

reparations if they hadn't kidnapped the africans and brought them here to the first place we wouldn't be having that discussion. we understand that slavery is the economic engine of empires. so slaves, they slaved our ancestors slaved. you know my paternal grandfather was born in 1883. i'm two persons removed. his two younger brothers fought in world war i. quintessentially american but in 1919 they were both changed to chained to trees and burned alive in arkansas. this will whole issue of reparations is something gavin newsom given us a start it's just a start because reparations has been talked about before any of us were born in order for reparations to happen it's a heart matter. it's going to take the kind of heart that will fight for it and the kind of heart that will say

economic justice doesn't have a statue of limitations and that we have to do right. because reparations is a global reality. people have always received reparations for being wronged. you know, my jewish brothers and sisters got billions of dollars from germany. and there were no stipulations on how they were supposed to spend that moment. that's when we get into paternalism again. i agree with you, brother jesse. there are things that maybe gavin newsom is putting out there and i understand but the thing is if there is no political will, which there hasn't been, because there has never been reparations for black folk in this country there has been reparations for slave owners though. to contextualize and prepare for the emancipation proclamation abraham lincoln in 1826 strict of colombia emancipation act. in there slave owners got $300 for freed slafers and homestead act where white males were given 106 acres of free land to move

out west. and then he had had the land grant act where land was given free in order to build these schools and colleges and to teach people how to farm and things of this nature. and then the emancipation proclamation was signed because the individual said look, we're not going to give you that and be left out there hanging. the only folk left hanging were the black skinned african slaves. >> jesse: all right, brother greg. you heard him pastor little he said this is only the beginning. would you like to respond? >> i would and first, thank you for having me, jesse. and everything that the reverend said is historically corrected. here's the problem. there is some irony. he said it and he said it right. we have been talking about this for a very long time. and we have got to be practical. the united states has spent over $22 trillion in its war on poverty. it has spent a whole lot of money making sure that women can take care of their kids giving the father the opportunity to

not be responsible. there's a lot of irony in what i heard when i read that report that he had put together this committee to study these reparations and all these various areas, i said to myself this is ironic. because he has got slave trade happening right now in his own state. we are the largest border crossing for human sex trafficking. and i would like to see a study on that largest homeless population in the nation over 151,000 people are homeless in california. blacks and veterans are disproportionately represented in that number. $140 of pension liabilities. >>this is a man who is going to be running for president. and he is lifting up this narrative by the way that is going nowhere it's followy. the reality is that the united states in so many ways,

and his brother. police say on october 1st, officers responded to a mass shooting and searched several hours for the suspected shooter. during that time, shots were fired between several officers and the teen. body camera video captured a day nine officer casey clark being shot. warning this video is graphic. night hostage with bombshells. i want to walk you through here. matt taibbi painting a very long run up. i think we are at 34 or 35 tweets with. it might have changed while we are on the air of how twitter suppressed the hunter biden laptop story. so here's what we know thus far. first, twitter suppressed the story by removing links posting warnings that it may be unsafe and even blocked transmission of it via direct message. we learned from these tweets that was a tool reserved for child pornography. now, this all escalated when kellyakayleigh mcenany locked fr sharing it. a lot of back and forth between internal teams twitter's communications team and their policy team. i want to bring up this tweet. it was numbered 21 in taibbi's saga here because it shows evidence of why twitter censored the story. so it says per checking, the user was bounced by site integrity for violating our hacked material policy admin for

further insight and guidance. it gets confusing taibbi is saying that sources shared that the government had not confirmed that hacked through sources. over the next few tweets we're learning that jack dorsey was not involved and that this really was decision really came down to the the head of legal now fired from the company by musk and others in the company that were also focused on policy there is a number of screenshots that have been shared showing many head of safety roth felt they had moved too quickly on this and they hadn't found enough evidence that they should have taken motion on this because they didn't really know that it was hacked. i want to bring up another tweet. this is tweet number 27 because it really drives that point home. it says, quote: to ian's point can we truthfully claim this is part of the policy as part of our approach as addressing potentially hacked materials? we are limiting visibility of related stories on twitter while our investigation is ongoing.
