that border. we see it continuing to go -- my getting worse month after month after month. and of course of title 42 that is going to expire here in a matter of weeks. we are only going to see that border continue to get worse because of that. because they have no plan in place for when that authority lapses. arthel: it will get to the part about the plan in place. because there is something that's in the works. we'll talk about that in the second period but first of all explain how title 42 helps border agents. >> will again title 42 is put in place during the covid pandemic and allows border patrol agents when they apprehend individuals coming across that border illegally they are able to return them back to mexico without putting them in custody without filing the paperwork. and so it's a relatively quick process. it keeps the border patrol officers safe during that covid pandemic they didn't have to bring them back into facilities.

that has allowed border patrol to quickly expel about 30% in various month-to-month. but on average about 30 -- 40% of individuals every single month. these are 30 or 40% of individuals and that equates to about 60000 individuals a month there will now be released into the country because it by demonstration has no plan for they have no plan for dealing with the increase coming across the border. to have us in chad we all know there's a big problem there at the border. there is no debating that. we keep talking about the bite administration not having a plan. they are not here but i do and to ask you are you in touch with current border leadership? are they aware of the bite administration proposed policy replacement for title 42? because there is a policy overhaul they are working on allegedly. >> i am in touch with a number of folks and border patrol and they're all frustrated as they have been frustrated over the last several months but yes obviously they are involved in a lot of planning this going on.
