mike: georgia two days away for another high-stake runoff. warnock and walker. welcome to fox news live i'm mike emanuel. herschel walker is bringing republican big wigs out on the campaign trail today in hopes of closing the narrow gap that
10:01 am
separates him from incumbent raphael warnock. aishah hasnie with the latest. aishah: good afternoon, four points right now separating herschel walker from senator raphael warnock and not a lot of time left to make up that gap. here in loganville, walker will be joined by pretty important people here. tim scott and john kennedy are joining him here on the campaign trail here one day after walker told politico that he has not been avoiding the press in the same politico interview he did mix-up the house and senate when answering another question. now despite a series of abuse and abortion allegations, walker has managed to stay neck and neck with warnock in all the recent polling here. in fact, he told maria bartiromo just this morning that he is in good spirit heading into election day.

>> i feel pretty good, you know, we are having record turnout and i think right now people got to get out. they've got to vote. december the sixth, people get a chance to voice their opinion. you can't sit on the sideline anymore. if you want to change, go out and vote and voice your opinion because this race is very, very important. aishah: yeah, every vote counts and this race senator warnock had some help from progressive caucus chair who is helping to get out the vote in georgia yesterday. warnock will hold two rallies later today in athens and music legend stevie wonder is holding a virtual event for him as well. still no announcement, mike, of a visit by president biden who just pushed for georgia to be one of the first primary states. here is why this race matters so much to both parties. if warnock wins, senate democrats who already have the majority, they gain some wiggle room diminishing the leverage that centrist senators joe
10:03 am
manchin and kyrsten sinema currently hold and opens up pathway for the president's agenda for the next two years. if walker wins, the gop gets equal representation on senate committees and mike, it's also important for democrats that they win this seat because they are facing a turbulent year in 2024 when they are -- they have about 2 dozen seats up for grabs. so they really need to get this one. mike. mike: so aishah, second cycle in a row of runoffs in georgia. are people fired up and ready to go or ready for it to be over. aishah: i would say both. the last time i was hearing i kept hearing folks that they were over it. this was a bitter and negative campaign election cycle. so they were ready to be done with it when the runoff was announced. they realized how important georgia is going to be and they are getting out the vote, folks were waiting in line for an hour and a half at times last week,

10:07 am
mess and so, you know, elon musk is trying to rebrand twitter. i think it's his prerogative to release internal communications but the one thing we did learn that there was no government involvement in the twitter's decision to censor these messages. and so i think we have to be careful because this is a private company that decided to do things privately. any -- any bombshell or white house or government prying to suppress first amendment that didn't happen. even the reporter that elon musk gave report to confirmed that. mike: elon musk is opening things for the whole world to see it. let's see it. >> democrats were not censored but right causes and republicans were. i think this is frankly obvious to anyone who uses twitter without expose of twitter files. >> i think that verifies what we knew and having been on the 2020 campaign.
10:08 am
we knew this was going on. we saw it going on. now it's been brought out to put on full display. the harsh light of reality is shining on it. one other point, i think it's very important, it's not just limited to twitter. we've had actually in a separate thing done by the states where the fbi has admitted they held weekly meetings with facebook and other big-tech giants talking about things like misinformation that needed to be brought down and things. so there is government involvement, maybe not directly to twitter but it does involve other aspects of big tech something that congress needs to look at. mike: starting at new year we are looking at divided government. there's concern on some bipartisanship in terms of concern about big tech, do you expect any action in the new congress. >> the fact that we have divided congress, democrats in charge of senate and republicans in the house, it's hard to pass far-reaching legislation. the must-passes, appropriating, funding the government, defense authorization act, the must passes is what's going to get

done and they are difficult. i have hard time seeing anything elective getting done. a series of hearings on the republican side as kevin mccarthy alluded to digging into the issues a little more. they have the gavel. i think republicans need to be careful, though, because americans care about is the economy, border security, public safety and i would urge them to focus on those issues and not so much the distractions. mike: mark. mark: there's a chance to do something. there are even democrats who are against censorship and for the first amendment right for the american people. see if they can come up with compromise and get through both chambers. not sure it will happen but i think there is a chance there. i think there's enough on both sides that are outraged by this that you could see something. mike: you're saying there's a chance. to battleground georgia, gentlemen, your thoughts on the critical stage in the runoff, brad. >> i would rather be raphael warnock than herschel walker. walker's donors appear to be backing out in the last minute.
10:10 am
herschel walker certainly has a lot of problems he's faced over struggles and everything. but raphael warnock is a good senator, he's running on two years of solid record. he has energy enthusiasm. his people are hitting the ground running. record turnout of all elections in georgia and good chunk of that was african-american voters. democrats feel good. it is going to be close. it'll be close right up to election day and i encourage everyone to get out and vote in georgia. mike: seems like herschel walker has been the underdog. 2020 was the exception. your thoughts. >> i think right now in the runoff we have governor kemp campaigning with herschel walker. all eyes are solely on this race to turnout race. it's not about fundraising, both sides are going to have enough money. it's limited compressed time frame. it's turnout. can we get the vote to turn out. if you like high gas prices, high inflation, vote for raphael warnock. you want to deal with those issues, vote for herschel walker and i think if we can continue to push that message,
10:11 am
we can get him across the finish line but it'll be close. mike: do you worry about election fatigue in georgia, second cycle in a row with runoffs? >> you always worry about voter fatigue so you have to get your base something to get excited about. you to give them something that motivates them and warnock has all kinds of energy on his side. i think voters are excited that we realized the tough environment we are heading into in 202 h and democrats are excited with what president biden has done, stand firm against putin. i think he's excited the base and turn out and deliver the win. mike: tuesday is the day. final hours. your thoughts on the critical stage. >> keep talking about the issues, remind people vote for herschel walker takes away subpoena power from chuck schumer. you don't like the games under nancy pelosi in the house, it will transition over to the senate with chuck schumer having a 51-seat majority and control
