some would argue that his election interference, is it not? >> it is election interference but the only thing that has changed with respect to biden peddling investigation is the fact there is more credibility as to why we come in fact need to investigate the bidens. this was the cover-up of the highest level of the government to protect joe biden. what they are protecting is the laptop and the content of the laptop, which show not only did joe biden know full well what his son and his brothers were doing with respect to influence peddling but it shows joe biden was very involved with this effort. this is something that should concern every american. >> griff: congressman, when you hold hearings, want to know if you attempt to call james baker one of the revelations we have gotten from all of this is the counsel for twitter that had been the former jury counsel for the fbi under the 2016 russian

collusion investigation was, indeed, part of this. >> absolutely. baker and the two most profile twitter employees we would hear from him. my advice to them is prior to coming to the oversight committee in january or february as soon as we can get them to the oversight committee, they need to look hard to try to find evidence as to why they suppressed the story. if they can't find evidence from a government entity like the fbi saving in fact suppress the story, then my next bit of advice for them would be to contact heirs and omission company because they will have a lot of columns moving forward because this was such an important story. the fact that they suppressed it when we now know it was very true and buried imaging to the biden campaign is very concerning. >> ashley: i want to ask one more question on this topic as it pertains to social media as a

whole. this is obviously all around twitter and surrounding twitter right now, but does this make you concern for things like meta-and following that interview with joe rogan and mark zuckerberg talking about how it was probably a mistake. is this going to lead to potentially more people and the social media platform world and the top brass of these companies to be held accountable for these similar situations? >> absolutely. big tech will be a republican for do priority for the republicans. and bring these people forward to talk about the problems with big tech and the role they play in censoring conservatives but respect to the oversight committee, we are focused on the biden investigation and the big development over the weekend is the fact that the federal government was involved in suppressing this story. i think what you are going to see over the next weeks and

months is elon musk is going to slowly produce more information and more evidence and remember what he produced this weekend, this was prebiden, biden campaign and the fbi. the weeks and months ahead are things that the biden administration did to suppress conservatives free speech and to encourage twitter to ban certain people who were hostile to the biden administration and their policies. that should be concerning to every american when the federal government is involved in suppressing free speech. >> griff: also concerning, congressman my want to change gears a little bit is china a report claiming that the chinese media is pushing divisive videos about u.s. politicians to millions of tiktok viewers, mainly republicans. your thoughts? >> china is a bad actor. china continues to get their foot in the door in every institution in our federal

government. one of the things that china does with respect to trying to infiltrate politicians is they try to find vulnerable politicians like eric swalwell or more vulnerable politicians like hunter biden and they try to develop relationships with them. they are doing also all sorts of things to gather as much information as possible. and it is more advanced than we thought. we thought china was focused on her intellectual property in their patents to try to make money, but now what it seems like is china is very involved in trying to understand the workings of our military and the inner workings of our federal government. they should be very concerning to every american. this is why the republican majority, you will see congress get serious about and kevin mccarthy very specific how to stand up to china. this administration sure has not done that. >> ashley: congressman, you

are watching a new probe into president biden's failed deal. saudi oil production before the midterms but what do you guys expect to find in that? >> well, we just want to know what the biden energy plan is, first of all and secondly what did they base their decision to sell strategic oil reserves. third most importantly is what are the specifics of the deal with saudi arabia? joe biden went to saudi arabia and begged them to produce more oil. it was very specific in his asked, "please produce more oil prior to the election hopefully to reduce the price of gasoline." i would assume after the election, you can cut production back, and therefore, cost the american people even more. that is a quid pro quo. republicans are very concerned about this. we are concerned about the overall biden energy policy. look, china wants the united states to have the green new deal. this benefits china at the

"the wall street journal" story, for example, notice that apple had other suppliers. what is trying to do is distance itself from foxconn but not necessarily from the people's republic of china. >> griff: in deed. why now? why has these protests, particularly at foxconn and elsewhere why has that become too much for tim cook and apple? >> i'm not sure that it actually has. i think part of the issue is these reports, for example this year's iphone will be in short supply. they will miss the christmas season because of all of the covid protests. i think that is a key factor. it is a bottom-line issue and not a human rights issue. i think it is important, for example, to note here apple pulled a plug on a key app that protesters were using to share files. and seem to have only pulled it

in china. so, it doesn't seem like apple is actually particularly squeamish about the moral aspects as much as the bottom line. >> griff: so, you are talking about the airdrop and our own hillary vaughn fox business tried to question tim cook about why they had censored the airdrop, so to speak. what do you see moving forward? where does this lead to? china is the dominant player in the supply chain. and now here we are, what happens next? >> i think we will see apple diversify its various production sites appear they had already moved error pods off to vietnam i think around 2020. so, we have seen other things move out to india. i think we will see apple expand its range of suppliers physically as well as in terms of a number of countries. but remember, tim cook signed

promises, reparations, stimulus, student loan forgiveness and none of that has come true. now, i'm not a fan of those things, but i think a lot of black voters, they are starting to ask what else is out there? are there other options? this is a great thing for the republican party and the republican message to talk about policies that lift up the entire economy like we saw with president trump, the history of our country had happened. and those the kind of values and policies that will lift up all people, especially the black community. >> griff: i love that charlamagne tha god so surprise, they are black bumpkins, they just are. why do democratic leaders and they believe that the black vote is a democrat monolithic voting block? >> i think it is historical. i grew up as a democrat, my

family voted democrat and not until i went to college that i came a republican because of the republican values. the same conservative values i was raised with. so that is a little bit of a conflict. i think charlamagne tha god is conflicted right now because he sees the democratic party does not have a good solution to help the black community. we should really focus on all people and not do these politic type efforts because they don't work. someone always has to lose. so, i'm hopeful that many in the black community will see this as a open-door to the republican party and republican discussion. there are a lot of republicans out here. >> ashley: there really are. let's talk about the rut told mike george of runoff races tomorrow and president biden is steering clear of it. i'm not sure but a lot of people at midterms when they didn't go to the ballot seats but michelle and barack obama is down there

and took over before midterms. are you shocked that he hasn't gone down there and what does your optimism look like for this race tomorrow? >> i'm not shocked at all. anytime you have a sitting president with 40% approval rating, that is really more of a wait versus someone who would lift up your campaign. so, i would stay away or have him stay away from my campaign also. and something similar is happening to our republican candidate, mr. walker, because former president trump really not on the ground in georgia either because of the risk of his campaign in the late stages. but in terms of my outlook come i think you will be very, very close but unfortunately a candidate has a lot of baggage and some challenges. and we are in a great position in terms of collaborative environment and so that we could push them over the line.

and it will be a very, very close race. i'm concerned. >> griff: it seems brian kemp is doing everything he can to pull him across the line. for the viewers, you are in this race. you were a candidate. is herschel walker the front candidate? >> oh, absolutely. he came to georgia after living in texas several years. he has such a legend in georgia. georgia, obviously a sec championship which we are excited about. he brought the first national championship in 1988. people love herschel walker but when you step into the political field, you are exposed. you have to perform. there were some challenges with mr. walker, but hopefully, the tide will be in our favor and we can get back what we desperately need to. >> ashley: it is literally a different ball game with politics. it is. you never know what you will get with that. kelvin king thank you for being with the spirits the spirits but want to, dogs, politics aside, how about the georgia bulldogs?

and face. but luckily, she is expected to be okay. and then school in virginia, offering students a controversial after-school satan club. a flyer on the satanic temple says "hey, kids let's have fun at the satan club." environment free from threats of eternal. really? many parents outrage that the club is being offered to students so young. the lawyers are fighting back citing the first amendment right, freedom of religion. a public hearing on the matter is scheduled for december 12, just three days before the club's first scheduled meeting. wow! ashley. >> ashley: the university of chicago facing backlash over a new course set to kick off next year called "the problem with whiteness." the university said the spring class will be based off of critical race theory, claiming in recent years whiteness has

resurfaced as his conspicuous problem with liberal discourse. the seminar examines the problem with whiteness through anthropological plans drawn from classic and contemporary works of critical race theory. the university of chicago and cofounder of the chicago thinker, and needed duffy joins me. what did you think when you saw this was going to be a course at your former school was at shocked or expected? >> you know, i was not shocked. i think it is hard to really tell exactly what is going to be taught at the school because as you can probably tell, part of the decision is full of academic jargons. once you can get past that, it is pretty clear they will be teaching crt. the problem is exclusively to crt. that is the premise to start in the first place, but we will not debate whether crt is a valid way of viewing the world than we know for sure this is the case

of indoctrination and not education. sadly indoctrination teaching students to be racist is very disturbing. but just to go into the story a little bit. there was a student who exposed this to myself, alumni and parents. and just brought up the story and said, this is being taught in the class. i think this is a pretty good example of anti-whiteness in the community. they have smeared him as a cyberbully, cyber terrorist peer that is a pretty unfair accusation to make for a student just saying, "let's talk about the importance of what we are teaching and the insertion of ideology and not genuine truth speaking in the universities." but this court is emblematic of they need not just the sort of cyber war between this professor and daniel schmidt, the student. it is a problem of a deficit in

the middle of the road in conservative -- i graduated last year. i wanted to take that course very easy. if i wanted to take a course from a professor who is sort of going to present arguments and we will talk about them, work through them. it is very difficult to find professors like that. because conservatives professors have been weeded out or bullied into silence on college campuses. i think it is a real disservice to the american education system. i think alumni, parents, they deserve to know the truth of what is going on here that is exactly what this student did in this instance. >> ashley: the statement about the course, the university defends the freedom of instructors to teach in a course here that the faculty process and including courses that may be controversial. is that response good enough for
