to the american rescue plan, money in being poet, putting kids back in school. i know he'll have a vision for the future and look forward to strongly supporting president biden's reelection. >> griff: you are watching "fox and friends first"s, i'm griff jenkins. >> ashley: i'm ashley strohmier, inflation has risen to record high, consumer price index is 7.7% and skyrocketed since biden was sworn in. biden has been spending big, committed 575 billion taxpayer dollars to left-wing proposals, which include cutting out oil and gas and pushing environmental justice. >> griff: not just the economy, the white house let the border get out of control, past fiscal year record 2.3 border encounters last physical year
2:02 am
and record number of got-aways into our country and that will get far worse when title 42 lifts, the border just one black mark on president biden's record. clearly jeffries, the democratic leader, the new nancy pelosi, hails from brooklyn, like chuck schumer, democratic party is run straight out of brooklyn. he is all in for biden and among a small group that are fully in. >> ashley: is this the direction the democratic party is going to go? he is the first person i can think of, correct me if i'm wrong, come out of the democratic party and said i will support him if he runs for reelection, and he has not said he was going to republican yet. he said to expect that early next year. that could be in a couple weeks. if he were to run again, by the

end of this term, he will be 82 years old, by the end of that term, he would be 86 years old. that is getting up there for somebody to be leading the nation and doing talks with china and russia, that is concerning. when hakeemtalks about track record, you have been to the border and seen it first hand, the disastrous afghanistan withdrawal, people can barely put food on their table, i am missing the mark with extraordinary record. >> griff: to be a knit picker, jeffries said he looks forward to the president will have a plan and vision, he should already have a vision, the vision of a second term should be ex10uation of policies you put in place in the first term and that is not working when it comes to the border, comes to inflation and our last jobs

report, we added 260's,000 be jos, but wages are only barely up, americans are hurting, the border is on fire and there is division, that is the point. >> ashley: don't forget skyrocketing crime, another issue americans are dealing with right now, when will the plan happen? he's been in office two years now, time is ticking. >> griff: i know the plan, the plan is to rearrange the election cycle calendar, if you are in iowa, goodbye, we don't need you, biden made his 2024 path easier by taking significance fro hampshire, where he lost, vowing to make south carolina first primary on the calendar. why would he do that? he was left for dead in iowa and new hampshire and thanks to clyburn, he won in south carolina puts his campaign back on track.
2:05 am
>> ashley: the new primary calendar changes the chess board, president biden push is likely to reward candidates who connect with the party most loyal voters, we have everything leaning more left to help the left win. nothing would help the right, that is neither here nor there, consistently, everything is left leaning dominant, anything to get information out there. i will speak to this, griff, this is why americans don't trust politicians, everyday americans will see this headline and think this is how it has been for half a century and now we're changing it? why are we changing it? it makes them look worse. they will not read into it, not a lot of people follow this type of caucus and the iowa primary, they will see that and it will be concerning to them and they will ask why, start asking

suppressing this information, that is not surprising, it is nice to see and refreshing to see elon musk releasing this material and we'll see more. what saddens me, 40 years in the business, 25 years with the fbi, it saddens me and infuriates me and my former colleagues to see the fbi involved in suppressing this information and collaborating with the administration and the private sector and not just suppressing the information, but slow walking the investigation, an investigation i know was opened up in 2019 as money laundering investigation. i'm looking forward to the hearings, i don't think they go anywhere, i think this one is necessary. >> ashley: the fbi is supposed to be bipartisan in history. and more often than not, we're seeing them lean more toward democrats and not the republicans issue not that they need to lean toward any party at
2:15 am
all, why is this happening with their more left-leaning side? >> yeah, the rank and file are hard working, they are good. when you see case like id, they come together and really work the special cases, we need this agency and public goodwill that goes with it, i think the top leadership has been infiltrated from outside, they used to fill top positions with fbi agents who worked up through the system. now starting under laterige stas of mueller and comey and christopher wray, withide logs, from the justice department, political appointments under merrick garland they have become most political justice department in 40 years. >> griff: talk about, do you
