they are favoring liberals. a bias against conservatives. telling social media companies to change their algorithms it. could be covid vaccines, mask mandates or hunter biden. >> steve: we remember. and from what i have read and the matt taibbi's stuff. it was just a general it was vegas what the government was putting out there was vegas. vague.expect some sort of russin interveerns. we knew that because going back to 2016 it was all about donald trump and russia. >> ainsley: then they said it could involve hunter biden and it will be in the month of october. steve: it was always vague. they never had any specifics. i was reading andy mccarthy's article that's the way the feds operate for the most part. at that time everybody wassing some sort of something. we didn't know what it was. the key is the people at twitter took that vague ammunition and run with it.

they wanted to put their thumb on the scale and help joe biden. >> pete: we didn't know what it was but the fbi did. the fbi had the laptop since late 201. they knew precisely it wasn't hacked material. so if you are sitting on a laptop for month and months, 8, 9 months. then you are briefing social media companies, look out for this leak and dump that's coming in october. then -- that's why this is the cover of the "new york post" is the fed lied. the story here is the feds knew about the hunter biden laptop. they knew it wasn't leaked material. so they worked the will refs they prebuncked it to use miranda devine's phrase. they worked gives them excuse to suppress it. >> ainsley: maybe that's why they were so vague so they didn't have to say it's going to be the laptop story. >> pete: it's the laptop story they ask for questions. chatter about something make sure you suppress it then they do your bidding. that's the corruption. >> steve: i don't know and none of us know for sure that the fbi had even looked at the laptop,

at that point, in 2019, we don't know that they actually had looked at it. >> gave it to agent specifically. >> steve: absolutely them. gave it to them and the people at fbi headquarters doj, remember those 50 intel officers they all said russian collusion. it had the earmarks of russian collusion. so, anyway, you know, i know a lot of people are looking at what twitter put out. and they are saying there was no smoking gun. i think there is a smoking gun. the smoking gun is that it worked. that that story about the laptop was censored and did it change the outcome of the election? we don't know for sure. but we do know that there had been polls that have shown that had people known about the hunter biden story and how joe biden may or may not have been involved ultimately in the biden family that would have changed their vote. ultimately, would it have changed the outcome of the presidential? well, obviously donald trump felt so because he felt -- he

raphael warnock and republican challenger herschel walker have their eyes locked in on that final senate seat. both men will be out on the campaign trail today as they try to end a painfully are negative election cycle. walker will continue bus tour this morning here in floury branch, georgia. he will continue on to four more stops across the state as he tries to energize voters ahead of election day. warnock has a busy day as well. the senator will visit a teamster's get out the vote worksite in atlanta this morning and also hold a students for warnock rally at georgia tech this afternoon with georgia's other senator georgia senator jon ossoff. with 1.8 million voters having already voted last week during the early voting period, both candidates are solely focused on those voters who can get out to the polls on election day and the message from both is this runoff is bigger than politics, listen. >> elections are about choice.

>> good morning. >> good morning. >> good morning. >> steve: adam, let's start with you, you just inked an op-ed in the "new york post" and the headline is cheryl la main tha god is right. democrats think they own our black vote. why is it democrats feel that way? >> well, personally, i think they have taken our loyalty and used as ownership. i think that there is a that dition, and there is a narrative that is used to keep black americans constantly vote for the democrats despite what they may or may not be doing for them. and the narrative is that republicans are racist that is the strongest reason why even conservative leaning black americans have a hard time voting republican. and i think a lot of it has to come down to messaging. i think a lot of it has to come down to local politics. you know, 60% of black americans live in 10 states. name those states based on the large cities that they are. in we are in urban environments. these are democrat-controlled

areas. some of them democrat controlled basically since the late 1800s. so, there is a lot of work that needs to be done for republican party to pick up these votes. but a lot of it has to do with the narrative. >> steve: absolutely. stacey, i know you were a democrat for like 20 years and then you decided to become a republican. why is that? why did you decide to join the other side? >> he. >> well, it was a values proposition for me. church listening what was said on sundays and compared that to the way i was voting. actually about 10 years ago i was a democrat. and i have been a republican for a little bit longer than that and i actually looked at the bible and saw how different god's view of how we are supposed to live in from the democrats' and their party platform lays it out. i wrote about in my book. i talk about it all the time. we have an option in the united states. it's not based on a race, brian, it's based on the policies. of the values that that you hold and the policy that's want to vote for. when we start doing that we will have more actual campaigns

competing for a vote instead of democrats taking us for granted. >> steve: okay. i want to play a soundbite for you all that was -- that made a lot of headlines back in may of 2020 before the election. it was joe biden vs. donald trump at that point. and joe biden, who was working out of his basement, said this to sharla main tha god. >> problem figuring out whether you are for me or for trump, then you ain't black. >> steve: kisha, that's what he said close to two years ago. fast forward to today, does that seem like exactly what the democrat party is taking for granted? >> absolutely. i have to agree with both the panelists here where we see that the democrats do take the black vote for granted. and, you know, we can blame that all on the democrats. we can also say that, you know, the narrative has been able to get into the mind of many black americans, propaganda works.

and when you hear a message over and over and over again. you are going to believe that message. >> steve: right. >> constantly saying that republicans are racist and stoking fear in black americans it will lead them to think that they only have an option to stick with democrats. i know, for me, back after the 2016 election. it was can both a spiritual matter and a natural matter where god spoke to me and said that my skin color had become an idol in my life and did i not need to see the world through the lens of being a black person but through the lens of my faith. that was a huge factor for me. and like stacey said. when i lined up those values along with the democrat values along with my faith, they did not go together. it was a conflict. and so i could not continue to vote for people who pushed things that i was just not okay with. and so i had to make a decision. but dr. thomas sowell, roger williams, milton freidman were

of the biden white house specifically suppressing and requesting the twitter suppress critics of the government. in a certain sense, the hunter biden story was just a preview of coming attractions for how he would govern. but the other point i would make is that there are legal violations or potential legal vials that go beyond even constitutional ones. for example, if you take this and view this as a constructive campaign contribution there is little more value that a company like twitter could have done for one major campaign than to suppress harmful information on that campaign it on the eve of a presidential election. and i think that the legalities aside it, reveals the farce of modern democracy if you are going to merge political power with private power to suppress information that neither one could have alone. that's what i see here. >> pete: vivek, how far do you think this goes beyond twitter? we are talking about twitter because the world's richest man bought it and opening the books to others.

we will learn more bari weiss has access. but facebook, google, there are pledged of other companies that likely could be doing the same. and we are not even aware of it. >> this cancer runs deep, pete, not just in silicon valley. but across the private sector. it is emblematic of what i view as the greatest threat to both democracy and capitalism today. it's the merger of the private sector and government to do together what the government could not do through the front door under the constitution. no doubt we will see it at facebook and google. we already have. countless examples and otherwise. smoke signals of the fbi, potentially coordinating with facebook ahead of the election as well. and it's not just about the election. it relates to alleged covid misinformation. increasingly relates to even the claims that are able to be shared online about the debate surrounding climate change. and climate change policy around school lockdowns. you see it, the pursuit of truth in our society depends on free speech and open debate and the

open exchange of ideas. and the more we suppress that, the more rethreaten both the pursuit of truth as we saw with the hunter biden laptop story but even the integrity of a self-governing democratic republic. that's what is at stake here. >> pete: integrity of sthiewtions. we only have 30 seconds left. regular meetings between government agency, the fbi and others, leading up to the election and they may have had a lot of material. what do you make of that interaction and would there be a paper trail on any of that? >> i think there is likely to be bread crumbs, maybe even meatball size bread crumbs. both at twitter and the government, one of the things i expect we will continue to see, weren't the people at the highest levels making those decisions. how uninvolved jack dorsey was. i think we will see the same thing on the governmental side as well. that raises the real threat here which is the rise of a bureaucratic managerial class
