including with tucker when she decided i don't care what's going on in hollywood i'm speaking out on my own terms about my own politics. listen. >> in 2016 i was doing a show and i won't -- i don't need to talk about the show. i was doing and i was on the set and i knew -- i had people come up to me and they are like whoa, you know, we are with you but if we say this, we are going to never work again. i thought, you know, look, i'm over 60, how many parts are there for an actress anyway? what do i have to lose? you know. so i thought i'm just going to say the way i feel and i feel like i'm representing. you know, i'm representing my family. my friends. my -- and it's not that i don't have friends who are democrats but they have plenty of people religion them in hollywood. they don't need me to represent them. i thought i'm going to represent my way of life and my values and my people. >> steve: and she did. and she faced blowback in

hollywood for supporting trump in 2016 and 2020. and it's the one word i think about a lot. when i think about kirstie alley. she was absolutely fearless. and she was loved. and you know. how many people knew that she was battling cancer? her twitner that twitter post did pay tribute to the men and women who work at the move the t cancer center in tampa for their courageous work. >> ainsley: they said it was quick. recently discovered they said. undeniable talent. she was funny. she was brave. they said she was an icon on television. but she was most incredible as a mother and a grandmother. i loved her. her rampsy voice. gorgeous eyes. beautiful hair. i loved watching cheers. we all grew up with her. she was in our living rooms every night. >> steve: god rest her soul. kirstie alley dead at 71. all right. 6:07 now here in the east.

turning to our other top story on this tuesday morning. it's election day in the state of georgia. in just about 52 minutes, the polls are going to open and voters will head their to cast their ballots in the state's closely watched senate runoff. >> brian: lawrence jones is live at louise's cafeteria in georgia. hey, lawrence. >> lawrence: look at the race it's a dead heat between herschel walker and raphael warnock, the incumbent senator. we are here on the ground to find out what issues marries to the voters the most. as you remember, back in the last race, during the general election, that led to this run off. you saw brian kemp really pull off with a lead and a lot of people were wondering why wasn't herschel walker able to get that same victory and if you look at the people here today, they will tell you it was because of the early voting. brian kemp will tell you that he has an operation machine and he

was able to lend that same machine over to herschel walker. he thinks that's going to be able to help him with this turnout today. again, guys, it's about turnout on election day most days for republicans. we'll be interested to see what plays out today. we will be talking with some of our friends here today to see what issues matter to them the most. i will send it back to you guys in new york. >> brian: once again, the spotlight on georgia like it used to be on florida and for a while in ohio. we will check in with you again. >> steve: can i ask him a quick question. lawrence, while you are there, is it rainy? i heard that the weather, there could be heavy rains clean-up could impact some people voting. >> yeah. it was raining yesterday and the fog is pretty crazy this morning. just a little drizzle, but not those showers and storms that we were expected. that could change later on today. and, again that could hurt republicans for turnout. are they willing to show up even though it's raining? we don't know. herschel walker had a big

was actually implemented correctly and he was all in. and then you find out they have known each other since herschel was 17. turn around and say he is just not a republican. is he somebody i know. and then you are stunned to find out you thought there was a few negative articles about herschel. maybe more than positive. 88% of all articles written about herschel walker were negative and that's what he had to overcome. and it is still too close to call. >> ainsley: you went down there and spent a lot of time with him. what was that like? >> brian: brian most of the revelations, outside of abortion revelations were all in his book. these things were time bombs that came out later. i mean, no one even found out who paid gloria allred to bring out these so-called people that were so offended? what was the point? who paid that money to bring these people out? number two is i don't think necessarily anyone focused on the debate. the only time they were shoulder to shoulder herschel wiped the floor with him. i just think for people to come out and talk about his intellect or his ability, you don't

reminder this week that all americans selling goods and services through sites like venmo and paypal will now have to report transactions of at least $600. before this year the filing form for 1099 k report was $20,000. but congress slashed the limit as part of the american rescue plan. now lawmakers have introduced bipartisan legislation to reverse the change. here to react americans for tax reform grover norquist. what's the significance of this? i'm seeing a lot, but you are the expert. >> this is a massive increase in the paperwork for all americans. if you use ebay or venmo or facebook marketplace, or stub hub or paypal, this is going to effect you. and if you clean out your garage and sell stuff for $1,000, unless you have the receipts, for what you originally paid, i are going to lose money you without although money for much more, you are now selling it second hand, you get $1,000.
