month after twitter generated controversy for labeling two trump tweets will toledo rigged elections. they said that was promoting misinformation. so that was about the time he got hired at twitter as deputy general counsel. and so he is the guy who was in on this determination whether or not to censor stuff at twitter. but he was left in charge of vetting the stuff elon musk didn't realize that guy was still there. >> ainsley: elon musk fired him yesterday in concerns about possible role in suppression. tiberiasy tweeted this out on friday the first installment of the twitter files was here. we expected to publish more over the weekend. many wondered why is there is a delay? we can now tell you part of the reason why, on twitter twitter deputy counsel and former fbi general counsel jim baker was

election and lo and behold one little element did come out friday night, it was this one email that had the date and time removed from it, very peculiarly, but it was from james baker and it was weighing in on the decision on the morning of october 14, 2020, and a few hours after our story came out. and it was james baker weighing in on the side of censorship, no surprise. >> brian: unbelievable. this is unbelievable that this has taken place. and so far on the other networks, not a word about it. and the only guy who says this is a problem is congressman ro khanna on the democratic side. he said he had a problem with the censorship in 2020. he even said it on cnn last night. i got a problem with it now. >> steve: well, and ultimately elon musk had a problem with it, that's one of the reasons he bought the thing for 42 million -- billion dollars, something like that.

second sexual assault after transferring. although the report says the district bears the brunt of the blame for the second sexual assault. zeigler was fired without cause, meaning he is going to walk away with his full salary and benefits. scott smith, whose daughter was sexually assaulted by the convicted teen has demanded transparency from the school board. he was arrested in june 2021 at a board meeting and says the report falls short of holding the board members accountable. listen. >> nobody held accountable by name. that whole report laid out a bunch of, you know, misdeeds, criminal, you know, situations, perhaps and at the end of the report, you know, we get six recommendations of things that they should do better next time. i hope that the grand jury is not done with their duty yet. >> todd: virginia governor glenn youngkin reacting to the report. superintendents firing on twitter quote today's report is important step toward accountability and i applaud the attorney general for his

initiative. a.g. will shared his reactions writing quote yesterday's grand jury report represents a big step in ensuring that the number one priority for loudoun county public schools as well as all school districts across the commonwealth is the safety of our students. although the victim's family says more work needs to be done, glenn youngkin delivering on his campaign trail promise to oversee an investigation into the loudoun county school board. steve, ainsley, brian, back to you. >> steve: hey, todd, since you are putting on your lawyer hat for a seconding. the superintendent was not fired for cause and nobody was named by the grand jury, why would that be? was that to say hey no single person made a mistake here? >> todd: it could be and obviously the board gets this they know they need to do something because people are demanding accountability, so they fire zeigler and at the end of the day he gets basically what he would be getting even if he stayed in office which is all his pension, all his benefits, so on and so forth.

so i understand what the father in this situation is saying. >> to your point, steve. no accountability, nobody is really getting punished. the guy is probably going to go to a different district and new job. he still gets paid. >> ainsley: unbelievable. imagine, you have daughters, todd, many of us have kids. imagine send are your child to school. they go to the bathroom in the middle of the day and they're sexually assaulted and that person who does it is just transferred to another school. >> steve: yeah, don't do that again. >> ainsley: exactly and does it again. >> todd: what's so tough for people of our age to realize and figure out this stuff never happened. if there was problem at school you may have got noon a little fight. nothing to this degree. you send your kids to school and think they are going to be protected something like this happens. something you could never envision, this is the world we live in now. >> steve: sexual assault. >> brian: thanks, todd. scott zeigler said we don't have any record of assaults occurring in our rest rooms. happened he actually said that ian prior led the fight to transform the school system in

virginia said this last night laura. >> what i see when at this look at this report i don't see negligence and gross negligence i see reckless indifference. when you are looking at things neglect of a minor, delinquency of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, recklessness is the standard. i also note that in there, going through all this behavior by the school administration, they also talked about the lawyer for the school. they seemed like they really wanted to indict him for tampering with a witness but they don't have a witness tampering statute in virginia. we looked at these but it doesn't fit obstruction for inindictment for the lawyer. they didn't say that about the actual reported and didn't say that about obstruction for the school board members. why wouldn't they say that? so i suspect we could see more down the road in the very near future. >> >> steve: one of the other things the grand jury apparently said, they said school administrators looked out for their own interest rather than the best interest of the school

really the surprise is how close he kept in the runoff. at love republicans primarily thought it was going to be a blowout but it wound up being close. >> brian: you think brian kemp's door knocking campaign helped how? >> brian kemp left his ground game on for herschel walker. mitch mcconnell poured $11 million into it. and if you look at the state, where did brian kemp over-perform in the general all the places herschel walker overperformed in the runoff. whereby he fell behind in the general and surged ahead in the runoff. ground became working it gives the model for the g.o.p. moving forward. >> brian: looked like depends on when the votes come in. for a while walker was up and it was a dead heat for hours until the last, i guess 25 minutes, warnock would go ahead for good and the other places wouldn't be strong for him. how much does this matter? warnock 150 million, walker spent 58 million? >> look, it matters a lot when you look at where it was spent. for example, walker only spent about 400,000 on streaming ads

and war new york spent about $4 million on streaming ads. a lot of people, we were missing the well, the adult underwear and the erectile dysfunction ads and watching streaming to avoid the political ads and suddenly we were seeing them there everywhere. thank god they are gone today. >> brian: what's the republican take away here in the big picture? you are supposed to learn from wins and losses what should republicans learn from loss. >> they need a better ground came. kemp's operation kept it really close. the democrats in georgia really outperformed the republicans again in that area. republicans used to dominate the state of georgia in that area. and they just haven't in the last couple of years. >> brian: what's changed? >> there has been this dissatisfaction and also this idea that if you vote early, your vote could not count and could get stolen which simply isn't true. they fixed the law in georgia. >> brian: the other thing is jim crow 2.0 didn't pan out. i think joe biden, president biden should apologize to everyone in georgia.

>> well, absolutely. major league baseball should bring back the all-star game punishing the state when actually it was a whole lot easier to vote absentee and early this time. the lines moved way faster than they have in the past. >> brian: senator sinema and manchin 51. republicans don't -- excuse me democrats don't need them each and every time. manchin lose pipeline deal made with senator schumer saying the american people will pay the price for washington once again failing to put common sense policy act of constant tribal politics. this is why the american people hate politics. what he said is i designed off on terrible inflation reduction deal to get a pipeline deal for my state and for others, perhaps, and republicans didn't back him up and democrats didn't vote for it so it didn't happen. >> well, you know, joe manchin should probably learn his lesson not stab the republicans in the back by telling them he was opposed to build back better and then secretly cutting the deal. this is pay back for him. also he can get a better deal now the republicans control the

house. the only reason the republican could say kill it in the senate because there were enough progressives in the house to block it with the republicans. that no longer exists. can he still get this deal in a senate in a restructured plan because sinema and manchin tend to stick together on this. they need both of them, the democrats do, to pass anything. he can get a better deal. the american people can get a better deal now because republicans will control the house. >> brian: everyone is talking about desantis and you should. but keep your eye on kemp nationally. because this guy has really made a difference. he stared at the democratic super star stacey abrams for four years. did he so well in four years. he got a resounding victory. i think the country is looking at him. do you think the party should be looking at him nationally? >> i think they should. in fact, when his term expires in 2026, one of these democrats in georgia jon ossoff will be up in the u.s. senate. already has a formidable ground game he may go to the senate. >> brian: i'm thinking president e might be a contender for that. >> i know kemp. the only time he ever cussed me

the face of the american people. >> ainsley: look at these numbers, 73,000 got aways in november. those are the ones they saw on camera. those are the ones we know of. not the ones that got across the border that we didn't see. 137,000 since october 1st alone. 600,000 total in the fiscal year 2022. and 309,000 total in face equal year 2021. they say the border is secure. is that true? >> no, it's absolutely not secure. we had 24,000 apprehensions in the tucson sector alone, which is the sector that i'm in. we also had 24,000 got-aways that we knew about, like you said ainsley probably another 25,000, who knows how many that we don't know about. are my guys are pulling traffic stops every morning. just the other day i had two pursuits by 10:00 a.m. this is happening every day. i have had 250% increase in pursuits involving human smuggling. i have had 200 percent increase in traffic stops involving human
