tv Hannity FOX News December 7, 2022 6:00pm-7:00pm PST
6:00 pm
sean hannity. >> sean: thank you. radio since 1987. that makes me very old. we will examine a great detail. mike and the article you are referring to. hard-hitting. wish me luck. welcome to "hannity." breaking news on multiple fronts, more revelations surrounding the deep state russia gate lawyer james baker and his firing at twitter. that story is only getting more disturbing. the great one mark levin is here to react. biden's irs are coming to make your life a living. we will explain in detail straight ahead. raphael warnock's win in georgia last night doesn't mean it's time to have a pity party or whine and complain. i started out in radio and i to the seven. ronald reagan was president. during the period of time
6:01 pm
bill clinton became president. barack obama became president. now we've got joey. there's ups and downs on political cycles. first there's good, good news. winning the houses huge, as republicans now will be able to govern with the same majority that pelosi did in this most recent congress, that's huge. republicans control committees, the power of the purse, the power of subpoena, that means if they hold together, a big "if," i guess, the ability to hold biden accountable on the border, and big big tech companies. fbi, doj, hunter and the president, joe biden himself, will all be investigated rightly so. it's been long overdue. first we do need to ask, and look at this objectively. what did last night tell us? what could we learn from it? if you are a football team and you go in at halftime. a sideline reporter will ask the coach, what you going to talk
6:02 pm
about with your team? well, i've got to figure out how to stop the run game, the pass game, how to get the offense moving here make adjustments, come out and have a better second half. the midterm cycle quoted that tell us? time for the public to start paying a little bit of attention and embracing the voting system that we have and not the one they said they had. they need to accept the rules as they are come not as they want them to be. after they win governorships, after they win state legislatures, than they can change loss over time, at all the integrity measures for elections that they want, and put it in the process of our elections. that means they need to play what is the early voting game, the ballet at harvesting game.
6:03 pm
they need to do well, if not better than the democrats, all legally. i will explain that. they can't start out every election day down hundreds of thousands of votes. it was estimated last yesterday when voting started in georgia that herschel walker, because early voting, mail-in voting in georgia, he went into yesterday's election down 200,000 to 250,000 votes. that's insane. there is a reluctance on the resistance of republicans to vote by mail or vote early so if you take a step back and you take a glimpse into how the system currently stands, there are currently 15 states and washington, d.c. they don't even have voter i.d. laws. key states like pennsylvania, nevada, new york, new jersey. then there's dozens of states that have some form of legalized ballot harvesting meeting that any third party can come and pick up your ballot for you. states like california, nevada and others, they send out a ballot to every voter on their voter rolls whether they request one or not. this is a system. the current reality. do i think it's the best system? no, i think it's bad. democrats have embraced the
6:04 pm
system. republicans have not come into their own detriment. they ignore this reality. look, i've been very clear. in my world, in a hannity-perfect world, if i laid out what we have the most integrity and everybody would have confidence in the resulting elections, owner republicans win gubernatorial races and state legislatures, i would make election day national holiday. i would have paper ballots only. i would have partisan observers, people from every party. they would watch the voting in every precinct in the vote counting after the polls close up close and personal. every state should require signature verification, voter i.d., chain of custody controls, updated voter rolls but like i said, right now we need to work within the system as it exists because democrats are playing a very different game on election day in the days leading up to election day than republicans are. democrats are not as interested in the quality of a candidate or
6:05 pm
holding rallies are exciting voters or kissing babies or shaking hands or going to fares. democrats are hiding, avoiding debates, avoiding their adoring media fans. they are raising hundreds of millions of dollars and using those on negative ads against republicans and most importantly they are playing, they are not playing "let's get a vote game" they are playing a ballot game. democrats are only interested in getting their hands on enough ballots that they believe will put them over the top to win election. that means big ballot harvesting operations, that meets the egg early voting numbers. big mail-in ballots for democrats. a huge disadvantage for republicans. it's obvious. yesterday's great case in point, herschel was down over 200,000 votes before the day even started. look at this new piece from axios laying out how thousands of georgians were paid to bring up warnock in conversations with
6:06 pm
friends and family and get them to vote for the far left senator. the tactic is notice relational organizing used by democrats across many different races. it's another example of how republicans are not only playing catch up, they are running elections on an old, outdated, imagine this is my iphone 1.0 version elections and democrats over here have a 10.0 version of elections and republicans need to catch up and build out a 14-point election model. republicans can't just accept they're going to be down big on election day and try to make it back up on election day voting. it's not going to work. too steep of a hill to climb. the g.o.p. can't just totally seed early voting, mail-in voting to democrats and put themselves into one deep hole after another. look at florida. there voting system was a complete and total mess.
6:07 pm
the 2000 elections, hanging, swinging, dented, perforated chads et cetera, et cetera. they fixed that system appeared out think anybody can ever say with confidence that was only 537 votes there was the in that race but at some point, the supreme court waited and that was the end of that. now they fix their system, they put integrity measures in the system. florida has one of the best run voting systems made her country and by the way republicans in florida, they have embraced voting early. republicans in florida, they have embraced voting by mail. every voter has to have a voter i.d., signature vacation is required. whatever the democrats are doing with the early voting, the republicans need to at least match it in these other states. some cases republicans do need better candidates. i'll give you one example. not to pick on pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate doug
6:08 pm
master out of what you look at his position on abortion, he had no exceptions for rape, incest, the mother's life. in pennsylvania, politically, not morally, you cannot win pennsylvania with that position. it's simply mathematically impossible. fbi candidate for that race and it had impact on the entire republican ticket. i have confidence that with the right leadership, republicans can get this done. these swing states in 2024. it's not easy but it is doable. also remember those other major part to all of this. i think i'm the only one talking about it. i call it accelerated migration. that refers to republicans fed up with far left failures and blue states and seeking refuge in states like florida, the carolinas, texas. tennessee, et cetera. they're sick of high taxes, high costs and a burdensome bureaucracy. they don't like high crime.
6:09 pm
the return of schools being shut down, covid mandates being shoved down their throat. they want in school learning for their kids. they want a better quality of life. they want to keep more of their hard-earned money and by the way, they would prefer the warmer weather especially with more and more baby boomers that are retiring. they are now moving in droves to read states. look at your screen, the u-haul index. it costs nearly three times as much to go from california to texas. look at that. for grants. you want to go from san francisco to dallas? for grant. you want to go from dallas to san francisco, you are doing u-haul a favor. 1400 bucks. that speaks volumes. anyway, americans are voting with their feet and sanctified to failed far left states day after day and the people that tend to be leaving in a lot of the states are conservative. a lot of people are moving to florida. they have about 800 new residents a day. it's great, the weather is
6:10 pm
great, the economy grows, the prosperity is there. the state gets stronger and stronger and stronger as states in the midwest like michigan and wisconsin are getting weaker. pennsylvania, new york, new jersey, california weaker. guess what. that means those states have less conservative. what does that mean for a presidential election year question like that means so states that were hard to win already are going to be harder. they have states like nevada and arizona, sadly for them they are doing well in terms of population influx. however a lot of those people from california and the vast majority of them happened to be liberal. they tend to be more left wing so it makes those states even harder to win for republicans. here's the point. this may all seem very complicated and it's going to take deliberate and well thought out strategy and it's why republicans need to have a sense of urgency now. before the election in
6:11 pm
november 2024 special victims the issue of perfecting the ground game, perfecting the ballot game, embracing early voting and mail-in voting and legal ballot harvesting and start winning these close elections. i would do the democrats at their own game. here with reaction, fox news contributor kellyanne conway along with arkansas governor mike huckabee and fox news contributor ari fleischer. governor, and my right, wrong? am i missing anything? should something be added, subtracted? >> sean, first of all, when i come on your show, i never say you're wrong. why would i do that? i would never get invited back. i am not stupid. >> sean: ari and kellyanne tell me all the time. >> your rate and one of the things he talked about that i totally agree with this we can sit around and say we wish the democrats weren't doing ballot harvesting. we can do that or we can say the -- played the game that's being played and that's how you win and we need to win but we also
6:12 pm
need to go into state legislatures were republicans have majorities across the country and we need to make sure that there voting laws are passed so that they truly do make it easier for people to vote but truly do make it hard for people to cheat. that's not something that has been at the forefront. the fact is, republicans are really good at campaigns. democrats are really good at elections. ultimately you don't get into office if you don't win elections. your campaign ads. all of your ground game and every thing is wonderful but it's about winning the votes. one thing that i do want to say, sean, and i hope some of my fellow republicans will listen carefully. quit blaming some of these candidates for what happened. it's easy to do that. are they perfect? no, they're not but you know something, they had the guts to get their name on the ballot and go out and run for office. i was proud to support herschel walker, went to georgia to campaign with him. i see people now trying to say
6:13 pm
it was always full. maybe it was mitch mcconnell who didn't put enough resources and early on. maybe it was all of us who didn't help him enough. i thought herschel gave it the best shot he had. for people to complain about him, i would say if you think you can do it better, into years, there's another election. get off the couch, put your name on the ballot, go out there and show us how it ought to be done. steve ari fleischer, your take? >> it's not as bad as people think it is. it feels bad that we didn't wins many seats in the houses we thought were going to win and we should have and i wish we'd taken back the senate but for two election cycles in a real republicans gained seats in the house. we have taken over the house of representatives. in 2018, the first midterm under president trump, or lukens lost the house they gained two seats in the senate. nobody is remembering that republicans gained seats in
6:14 pm
trump's midterm in the senate. america is yelling at the politicians and yelling at washington's to be moderate and centrist. this is why everything is 50/50. if both pools in both parties to men to have everything their way in their way only, they are out of place where america is. there's a reason things are close down the middle. the final point i will make his mechanics are always important in campaigns but candidate quality is essential. good candidates will win. the big issue for republicans is who is our leader, who is a candidate at the top. >> sean: herschel i thought was a good candidate. people disagree but he got outspent in the runoff about 3-4: 1. got outspent in the general election by an equal amount. money and politics mix a pretty big difference. one data point, kellyanne, that i did forget, that's that
6:15 pm
republicans come in terms of, we never win the popular vote. we actually won the popular vote this election cycle. it tells me that the ballot game that they democrats are playing is a very different model than what we are used to seeing. every model that we have used in the past. go to the fair. kiss babies, shake hands, take selfies, do rallies. that seems secondary. katie hobbs order joe biden, for that matter, or fetterman for that matter. these guys hid in their basement, they did no media interviews. if they debated, it was at the end, if at all. they never had to answer tough questions inmate raised a time of money and dumped negative ads on republicans. they didn't campaign traditionally. >> a couple things. i think we can typify this by remembering a couple of tried-and-true tactics. one is you got message, messenger, delivery.
6:16 pm
i think republicans have the better message. we are talking about crime and rising costs, physical, financial, border security. answering people's concerns. a messenger, but it's a pretty good candidates. some came up short. some were first-time candidates. i hope the running of the delivery is the point. delivery is no longer, do you have the american flag behind you? are you wearing a red tie or a pink dress customer delivery is a system, not a style. i need to deliver those messages through those messengers where you live. i can't expect you the voter to come to me so if you're accustomed to getting it by text or phone or email our social media app or through a friend or family member, that's the key here. what democrats were able to do in georgia and elsewhere, connected tissue politics. they said to people in your circle of life, your family, friends, colleagues, distant acquaintances, make two connections. one, do i like you. that's classic. number two is more important, are you like me? what do we have in common?
6:17 pm
and then you're able to say to people, aha, you want to vote for herschel walker or raphael warnock. after all, raphael warnock has voted 98% of the time against the things that you set are important. you want to go with a guy standing up and putting up and speaking up. herschel walker or republican x out there responding to your concerns. i say the following, let me share with the audience, we have to have a second-second version, 72nd version and 70 minute version to putting on long people will listen. how are the parties different, why does your vote matter. we need to get these votes early. taking a big chance someone can get out of the house come out of work, a lot of traffic, not feeling sick that day. it's pro-incumbent, it's election season. these are the rules. you either adapt or die.
6:18 pm
as a party, and we can do this. we can absolutely do this but i think, people saying we need a new message. let me say something respectfully. to the 49 republican senators. where were most of you? why weren't you in georgia question like that all should have been because they should've been there in some form, town hall, in person, saying the following. i served in the united states event with raphael warnock. he's a terrible senator. he doesn't represent georgia. he's not fit to serve. he voted for the inflation reduction act. he said nothing when they pulled out of afghanistan. he said nothing that joe biden has been to delaware 174 days into the border zero days. that's what needs to happen. where were the other senators to say i want herschel walker, not raphael warnock in the senate with me. as to be one last question, quick answer from all of you. ari. what is the one big recommendation you would give the republican party in general. >> you cannot win with the base
6:19 pm
only, the base alone. eve got to win with the bass boat that has appeal to centrists and independents. it's a big party, very big tent. still valid today. >> healthful what you are for, not what you're against. it's easy to say we are against various radical things but tell the people what you're for, what are you going to do that makes their lives better when they sit down on the kitchen table. >> sean: you are right, don't underestimate the power republicans the last two election cycles, owning seats in the house and having the majority. last word, kellyanne, what's a big piece of advice? >> i will adopt what my colleague said memo and grab the votes when you can. really low point for the democrats and the bided administration while early voting was happening i think removal concerns losing candidates, wait for election day, let's surprise everyone. the only people surprised on election they were republicans. get the votes as early as you
6:20 pm
can pay its due and agree with all of you. big, breaking news out of the washington swamp. at congresswoman alexandria ocasio-cortez is formally under house fixing the station while details of the probe have not been released. last year ocasio-cortez was also under ethics scrutiny over her attendance data met gallup for accepting and, well, impermissible gift though it's not clear if today's news is related to the previous complaint. we will continue to follow that story and meanwhile house republicans are moving ahead with their investigations into bidens self-inflicted disasters including when biden abandoned our fellow americans behind enemy lines in afghanistan. one of the biggest debacles in american foreign policy history. house republicans launching a probe into the disastrous withdrawal. they are vowing transparency and accountability into how the biden administration failed at such a level. here with my reaction, house oversight committee chairman ranking number republican congressman james comer.
6:21 pm
that's key. we haven't talked a lot about the origins of covid. will that happen question >> we've been meeting with the steering committee, committee chairs and other committees. some type of jurisdiction. that will be a priority, not just the origins of covid some of the decisions that were made. we want to bring in an interview all the scientists who early on told dr. fauci that this is obviously a lab leak. this is obviously man-made. then they change their story. we later learned through some of our investigative work that many of the scientists that gave fauci on link check to go along with everything, they were receiving grants from the nih. had a lot of help from the cdc. investigate pet. we want to investigate that. afghanistan, no one knows who
6:22 pm
made the final decisions. these are split big investigations we're going to focus on. >> sean: we expect elon musk is going to have another disclosure as relates to election interference. he said if you shutdown any dissenting voices, that's the very definition of election interference. he talked about the media being complicit in how twitter was the arm of the democratic party. big revelations. you're going to be leading the investigation into the bidens, joe biden in particular. you said this will be an investigation about the president himself. let's talk about that. joe biden lied when he said he never spoke with his family or hunter about their foreign business dealings. there is evidence to the contrary, photographic evidence. we know of at least 14 meetings that joe attended with his son hunter and his foreign business partners. the question is, if, in fact, joe biden benefited financially, what is the proper term for that? is that pay to play?
6:23 pm
is that, you know, selling access at the highest level? >> it's it looks like the biden family was acting as foreign agents. we have a term for that in washington, d.c. we call that lobbyist. we know joe biden lied about his knowledge of hunter and jim's shady business dealings. we know that joe lied about his participation in those business dealings. as you've already documented, sean, he had several meetings with people that during the campaign he said he never met with. had meetings on air force two, meetings in the white house. there is correspondence where people on hunter's laptop and the emails and text messages say enjoyed meeting your dad. i think is going to be able to open some doors for us. joe biden was an active player so he lied about that, he lied about the laptop. you go back to the debate and that's what so good about what elon musk has turned over the busbar, joe biden said in the debate that that laptop was
6:24 pm
russian disinformation. that's not true. the fbi, who i believe were going to have evidence very soon was very involved in the decision. the twitter made. >> sean: do you think there's a possibility that the president -- >> they have a laptop or they knew that it was not russian disinformation. >> sean: i've got to run. >> the american people are going to find out in january. >> sean: do you believe it's possible joe biden is compromised by china and russia? real quick. >> i fear that he is, especially if you look at energy policy. the worst deal that the biden family made was the deal would try to where they were trying to help china get their foot the door on the american energy industry. energy policy is national security and joe biden could be compromised because the millions of dollars he received through china through his family's influence peddling. spoon congress meant, we'll continue to follow this very closely starting in january. straight ahead you won't believe who elon musk fired at twitter, here's a hint. he was at the center of the russian hoax story, the great one mark levin will weigh an

6:28 pm
- my name is deven schei and i served in the united states army. back in 2004 when my brother came back from his first tour, he asked me to make him a promise and that promise was if anything ever happened to him overseas that i would finish what he started. unfortunately, my brother was shot in 2005 in the head in mosul, iraq. three years later, i knew that i needed to fulfill that promise. it was about finishing what the schei name started. and july 2nd, 2010, we were called on a mission. and that was the day i got hit. transitioning back to civilian life was extremely difficult. you feel like an outsider every it was hard to admit defeat. and that's exactly what i felt like i was doing when i finally contacted the wounded warrior project. i knew that i needed help. and when i reached out, they gave me tools to better my life. they truly saved my life.
6:29 pm
>> sean: tonight, more breaking news at twitter where attorney jim baker was fired by elon musk over more concerns about his role in suppressing the hunter laptop story. for background, baker was working at that fbi in 2016 where he was a key player in pushing the russian collusion hoax. after meeting with his self-described friend, that would be disgraced clinton attorney michael sussman, who plied him with phony information about donald trump and russia, now baker is also reportedly responsible for disseminating the dirty dossier to the press and passing it off as legitimate. it was not. by 2018 he was under criminal investigation for leaking and he was soon out of the fbi.
6:30 pm
after a brief stint as a quote legal analyst have fake news cnn, he took a job as twitter's deputy general counsel in 2020 where he was at least partially responsible for her suppressing the laptop story after urging employees to take caution it might be hacked. joining us now with reaction, the great one mark levin. mark, one question. i want to lay out one fact. besides elon musk saying shutting down dissenting voices, which they did, is by its very definition election interference. the fact that the fbi was in weekly contact with all of these big tech companies, warning them of a possible hack and leak operation and even one that might deal with hunter biden, when they had the laptop, mark, for 11 months. they could've easily verified that it was a real laptop. it tells me they were putting their films on the scale again,
6:31 pm
like they did in 2016 and the 2020 presidential election. tell me your thoughts. >> well, the fbi is corrupt. it's not just from the top down, as joe biden likes to say from the bottom up and middle out, whatever that means that there's something a question about that which is why we need to get the speaker over there on the republican side and get to the bottom of this. i want to talk about a couple of the things related to this. that's this. it's very convenient foil for the republican establishment in their washington media and other media to keep planing maga and donald trump for their losses. donald trump hasn't been around forever. the republican establishment has. mcconnell i think has been in the senate 36 or 38 years. pulled the same stunt in 2010 when we won 63 house seats but they didn't get enough seats in the senate. you know who he blames question what did he look in the mirror? he blame the tea party. that's who he blames. in 2006 when george bush and our friend karl rove lost the
6:32 pm
congress would have given to them which they inherited, the republican congress. they didn't blame george bush and karl rove. no, no, no, no further problem with the republican party is it's not a conservative party. not a reagan party. not a trump party. it's a washington centric party. we'll have the republicans done? when the democrats are in the minority they are able to come up the works. what is it that mcconnell wants to do? he wants to meet them at the 40-yard line? what do you mean. i want to meet them at the hotdog stand and have them buy me a hot dog. one of the republicans done? mcconnell keeps going to the microphone and talking about, anybody talks about suspending the constitution can't run for president. obviously talking about trump. the democrats are constantly suspending the constitution and ripping it and attacking it in
6:33 pm
their judges are. mcconnell, when's the last time you talk about separation of powers, limited government. equal protection. due process, probable cause for warrants. our constitution is already being suspended. the firewalls and the constitution are already being breached. by the democrats. why do you want to meet them on the 40-yard line? what are you going to do to give us our constitution back? what are you going to do to protect separation of powers? what are you going to do to stop biden's executive orders? what are you going to do to force biden to execute our laws like our immigration laws. you come to the microphone and you burp out words with those guys standing behind you like you're in a funeral procession. that doesn't fix a damn thing. you're always looking for foils. he reminds me of biden. inflation is up. gasoline prices are up. production is down. it's somebody else's fault. when they lose their elections, which they control for the most part, they always blame the base
6:34 pm
where they always blame somebody else. it's really quite ridiculous but what happened to mccain? he lost what happened to romney? he lost. it took somebody like a trump to win the presidency back and it took reagan to end two massive landslides so what's the position of the senate republicans when it comes to all these issues? god knows there's a zillion of them. from the border to inflation to celine. why don't they have a coherent, consistent legislative agenda? very bright people on earlier talking about why we lose these elections. let me tell you why we lose these elections. there's nothing to do with trump. it has nothing to do with maga come all the rest. the greatest candidates, fetterman is bumping into walls as i speak. he's not exactly a great candidate. biden, are you kidding me, those aren't great candidates. they have destroyed our election process. the governors in the state legislatures need to get involved and fix it. that's what they did in florida.
6:35 pm
it's simple. fix it. you're not going to fix it, then steal their system from them. vote early like i do, and do all the rest. that's fine. and what else do we need to do in this country? the reason people don't vote as they don't have a reason to vote. what was the republican position on inflation, what were they going to do? i still don't know. what were they going to do to secure the border? well, they are in the senate now. what are they proposing question like they are proposing illegal immigration, amnesty and citizenship early winter events. the border is wide open. illegal immigrants are coming in, the republican solution is citizenship. they are not going to stop with daca. they vote against religious freedom. it wasn't about marriage. they voted against religious freedom. why are they working with the democrats on the most massive spending bill in modern american history? it may not happen.
6:36 pm
what is their agenda? why do they want people to vote for them. why don't they embrace concern and principles provide out they think about reagan and the successes of trump. why? because they're not conservative and they don't believe in it and as long as this goes on, we are going to lose elections and finally, how did the democrats beat us in redistricting most of the country? eric holder is running around the country so proud of himself. you know why? the failure of the rnc, the failure of the little committee they put together with our friend karl rove. we are being outgunned by their lawyers. going to the states and doing these various things. the republican establishment, republican ruling class has failed us. they controlled the congress for 30 and 40 years. we better off as a result of it? no. we are not. that's it. >> sean: that's why we call him the great one, mark levin. "life liberty & levin" every saturday night. number one show, some inmates here in boxford coming up, biden's economic crisis is going

6:41 pm
>> sean: more and more warning signs for the biden economy. jpmorgan ceo jamie dimon warning inflation will cause a slow down in consumer spending and that will cause a brutal recession next year. take a look. >> inflation is eroding everything i just said. a trillion a half dollars per you're looking for, those things may derail the economy. mild to hard recession people are worried about. >> sean: wonder the democrat
6:42 pm
solutions? grow the size of the irs so government bureaucrats can harass you for every last nickel and dime you have with the agency that a warning every american to report any earnings over 600 bucks. for example if you use paypal or venmo, transactions, you've got to report that. buckle up. everyone's life is going to become a living hell. in other words you probably get the hannity treatment. anyway, joey continues to double down on the green new deal in their climate cult agenda pushing to ban, get this, any new federal buildings from being powered by fossil fuels by the year 2030. here with reaction, fox business host larry kudlow. imagine they are not going to be any new buildings at that point. the entire world economy is built on oil, gas, and cool. it's the lifeblood of the world economy. no doubt about it.
6:43 pm
there is no alternative readily available. it doesn't exist. nor do i see one for the near future, the next two decades. why are there so anti-domestic energy production. >> look, this is part of this liberal local ideology about climate change. this is started from day one. during the campaign. eliminate fossil fuels. the trouble is there's no substitute, as you just pointed out. we are powered about 80% by fossil fuels. that's not going to change. two decades. i would say you're talking about 50 to 75 years and it could be longer. never any alternative. will mills are not the alternative, solar is not the alternative. look what happened in europe.
6:44 pm
they are burning wood and shoveling coal for heaven sakes. here's a weird thing. jamie dimon is bearish on the economy. none of this had to happen. none of this had to happen. if we had kept the spigots open, oil and gas production. permitting an fracking and pipelining and the new refineries. if we had kept that open the way trump kept it open, we'd be producing 14, 15 million barrels a day, natural gas would be soaring. lng experts would be soaring. the price of oil would be 40 to $50-barrel. vladimir putin cannot operate his crazy wars at 40 to $50 a barrel. when they get to 100, that's different for the future and the spigots off, then you go to 100

or 125. you follow my logic. vladimir putin would go away on his brown horse without a shirt. >> sean: next question. biden inflation. >> it's just that simple. >> sean: biden inflation is killing the poor, middle class people on fixed income. 40% of the elderly are saying they can't afford it. how bad will this get with this get next year? >> inflation is the cruelest tax of all so it is affecting the lower incomes the most, you're quite right. the big story here on wall street and so forth is the federal reserve tightening the money supply and raising their target rates. they're going to continue to do that. this did not have to happen. jay powell should not have supported the democratic bill of $2 trillion back in march of 2021. and then powell was in denial
6:46 pm
about inflation is like the biden administration. he should've started snuggling up a year and a half ago. so now he's going crashing down. he is the grinch that stole christmas. we are likely to have a very bad recession next year. this could have been avoided with better fiscal policy, better monetary policy, better energy policy. you know, we showed the way they went off on this crazy staff with esg and now look once happen. it's a big mask. it's a big mess. >> tu>> sean: and they are not going to close the border. they're not going to go back to energy independence, not going to go back to sensible economic policies. larry, thank you. coming up, the woke left continue to outdo themselves or wait till you hear what they had to say about shark week. jimmy failla response straight ahead.

"washington post" says shark week lacks diversity, over represents men named mike. more white experts and commentators named white than women -- named mike than women.
6:52 pm
he needs to get a life and to god forbid, you can't be named mike? you can't name your kid mike anymore? >> listen, man, whoever wrote this article is a dope because for one, sean, no one is looking at the people. it's called shark week. everyone tunes into look at sharks. sean, what are they going to tell us next? the westminster dog show doesn't have enough transgender dog handlers? come on, dude. you're missing the whole point of shark week. you know it's coming. >> sean: by the way. i never thought we'd ever have a congressional hearing where you have elected officials asking guests whether or not biological men can bear children. but it happened. >> [laughs] it so crazy. here's the thing. i know you're not making it up. there are people on the woke

left, okay, they are cultural arsonist. what i mean is they will go out and set a fire that they started, just so they can try to put it out and make themselves a hero, like look, i took the fight to shark week. there's this whole cottage industry of people who get out of bed every day looking for something to get offended by. scientists have a word for them, they are called losers. that's exactly what this is. the other thing, really quick, in the article, they also wrote that the series offers up negative portrayal of sharks. sean, when was the last tenure at the beach and y you were like hey, kids, a shark. isn't this awesome? everybody get in the water. >> sean: time to go swimming, everybody jump in. let me mov move on to another t. it's about "the new york times." i think you'll find this interesting. they put out there left the best movies of the year and see if you recognize any of these
6:54 pm
films. it includes an iranian film it's not yet been released, movie which shows only black screen for over an hour, a film of "the new york times" says understands abortion as a fundamental right. help me out. i don't recognize any of these movies. i am probably watching reruns of rocky or gladiator or "braveheart." >> i will defend "the new york times" on one point. people who write for "the new york times" watch a lot of cnn so blank screen probably sounds amazing af what they are watching on cnn. >> where is the justice? top gun is the highest grossing film of the year, it literally saved movie theaters. no one goes to the movies anymore. but they did to see tom cruise. two, it was nice to see people on an airplane that were not being forced to wear masks.
6:55 pm
that was the draw of top gun for normal people toward "the new york times" hated it because america wins. we can have this! >> sean: these marvel movies, black panther, whatever it happens to be. they are making a billion dollars each. commercial success doesn't co count? a black screen does better, nothing on the screen is better? >> [laughs] it's crazy, man. i think there is a bias against short people. think about it. tom cruise is short and they also never write about my man, greg gutfeld. he is like 4'7". i think it's a bias. i am filing a suit. >> sean: i don't know. i'm going to be watching. greg will be firing back on all cylinders. you're in trouble. jimmy, we need a laugh. we really do. we appreciated. jimmy failla, thank you. quick break. we'll come back. we've got more "hannity" coming up straight ahead. thanks for being with us.
