announcement that you are going to run. i know you are going to take the holidays with karen and your children, talk about this, decide what to do in terms of whether or not you are going to run for president. which way are you leaning? >> well, look, our hearts are always leaning toward finding a way to stand up for the conservative agenda and for the values we have always advanced in our public career, and i'm looking forward to this christmas, all of our kids, two of whom are in the military will be home the first time in three years. we are going to spend some time together, prayerful consideration to it. but whether i'm a candidate or simply active in the cause, i'm never going to stop fighting for the policies i wrote about in the book that characterize my career in the congress, governor of indiana and as your vice president. those policies left america more prosperous, and those policies we must return our nation in the next two years.

>> john: always good to spend time with you, thank you, we'll check back in to see which way you are leaning. appreciate it. >> sandra: great to see the former vice president there. thanks to him. meanwhile, we are continuing to follow the story out of moscow, idaho at this hour. the neighbor of four murdered college students in idaho tells fox news the front door of the home there was wide open hours before the 911 call was ever made. alexis mcadams is on the ground there, has been for quite some time reporting from moscow for us. alexis, you talked to that neighbor. what did he have to say? >> sandra, he says he was walking right back from campus on that morning around 8:30, and noticed that the door to that home was wide open. he says it stuck out to him enough when he found out what had happened he did contact authorities and give them that tip. we had not heard much about it from police, they focused on the backsliding door which backs up to that parking lot there. but we are going to take a live look right now at that front

door of the home in moscow, idaho, still at the center of this, in crime scene tape. the neighbor gave authorities the information because it stuck out to him and as he passed by the home did not understand why it was open. the question we had for police is why was it open in the first place, did they know about this, how long did they know about it, and possible the killer or killers could have walked out the front door. now the other piece of information here on the ground, the biggest thing we have had in the past few days, it's the white hyundai elantra, that's a stock photo or example of the car with the make and model investigators are looking for and we don't know exactly how it fits in. were the killer or killers in the vehicle, they have not said, but the car was possibly in the parking lot. off of king road, you go up and around into an apartment complex, it dead ends there and you can see from the parking lot to the house. where was it parked and how many

prominent republicans, bad. is that true? >> no. >> sandra: he said that then, what does that mean for him now with the control of oversight? >> that's a problem, it appears that he was being dishonest to congress and lying to congress, it's a very bad thing, as you know. so, what i believe he will have is an opportunity to come before congress and set the record straight. one thing i will say in his defense is it appears that musk in the first twitter dump made reference that dorsey didn't know everything that was going on. that these other three individuals whom we already have requested their presence in front of congress, that they may have been acting unilaterally. the second dump comes closer to implicating dorsey, so he's going to have an opportunity to come before congress, big tech was always going to be a big priority for republican majority. even before the twitter dumps, elon musk is doing a great

service to the american people and really helping out republicans in our quest to get to the truth with respect to big tech censorship. >> sandra: "the washinton post" ran this headline on you, meet the congressman planning house republicans hunter biden investigation. you sat down with them for a pretty lengthy interview, you talked about the 40 to 50 different investigations you planned to launch as the chairman of house oversight in the new year. one of them obviously is the hunter biden investigation. i'll ask you about that while pointing out there seems to be a growing number of members of your own party who are warning they don't really want to prioritize this in the new year. this was new hampshire republican governor in a podcast, listen. >> i want the next generation of republicans to know that what they see today with the partisanship and the anger and all that kind of stuff, we want them to be excited about being on our team and when we offer and what we deliver.

the lack of identity and on top of not having a lot of friends and having issues at home, when i found the trans community and found a new identity and was affirmed that, you know, everything was very affirming, that's what caused me to transition. >> john: and what has led you to the decision to transition back? >> getting treatment for the actual diagnosises i had prior to the gender diagnosis, like trauma therapy. >> you underwent testosterone therapy at 17, at 18, a double mastectomy, known as tops surgery. some of the treatments you received, including the tops surgery, are irreversible. so, what are you thinking now about everything that happened to you in that time period? >> i mean -- i'm heart broken.

like honestly, the whole time to me i feel like i was in like an fuge, i was so mentally unwell and unstable and that's the time the trans community really found me. but the whole thing just feels really messed up to me. it's heartbreaking, it's -- i'm finally out of denial because i've been talking about it and i'm not able to be there anymore, so there was a lot of grief, but you know. >> your parents say they were manipulated into supporting you through this transition by counselors, by the medical profession. do you believe you were manipulated into it at all? >> oh, yeah, i really do. i was manipulated not only by my trans peers, but by my gender specialist, the person who gave me my letter of recommendation and surgery. i mean, it was all sold as like a wonderful thing.

it was not like a medical condition that you needed to be treated, you know, that was sad or serious, it was like a fun thing like you're trans now and it's celebrated and you are wonderful, you are a hero and all that, and you know, that attention is what i was looking for. >> john: when you see american girl in a book that's targeted towards children who are probably between 8 and 12, because those are the girls who are really into american girl, say if you have not gone through puberty yet, the doctor might offer medicine to delay your body's changes, giving you more time to think about your gender identify and if you have already gone through puberty a doctor can still help. what do you think about that messages targeted to those girls? >> it's incredibly confusing. i almost think it's predatory. i mean, it's setting them up for confusion. every single person who is about to go through or who is going through puberty is uncomfortable with their body, and it's changing and it's hard and this
