>> jesse: but he eats kale. >> that's why i have guns. >> he eats kale and steak. >> jesse: all right. he's looking very good. thank you very much. the two best dressed guests we've ever had on sink or swim. who thought fox business was so fashionable. the hillary text broke my phone. we got to go. tucker is next. i'm watters. this is my world. >> tucker: good evening. welcome to "tucker carlson tonight." happy friday. since it's friday, we want to take a moment to address one of the enduring mysteries of modern life. what do people do all day? if you've ever been in an affluent urban area around lunchtime you wondered that yours, fashionably young people buzz around, buying expensive salads, strolling purposely as
5:01 pm
they listen to podcasts on their $300 intracranial headphones. they are happy and self confident. joe biden voters, graduating from places like davidson, cornell and duke. clearly these kids are going places. but where exactly? what to do even more specific do they do for a living? that's a good question. two ways of finding out, anecdotal and empirical evidence. to get the answer, we can talk to people on. street, or look at the results of scientific experiments that produce quantifiable outcomes. tonight we'll consider both varieties of evidence. for the first the empirical, go to elon musk. he bought twitter last month. naturally he wanted toneau what his thousands of new employees were doing all day. to find out he didn't guess. musk conducted a simple
5:02 pm
experiment. he fired 80% of them. that is not something you see happening very often in the practical economy. a few fired 85% of the works at an asphalt plant you wouldn't have roads. if you got rid of workers at your power station, you'd be living in the dark, same with farms, cabinetry shops and manufacturing facilities. businesses like these have employees essential to the business. nobody wonders what they do all day, because it's obvious. how about twitter? nbc news told us that elon musk had just made a titanic mistake, without all those brilliant young employees from duke, twitter would immediately collapse. users would abandon it. apparently elon musk does not watch nbc news, because he ignored them and fired the staff anyway. what happened next? the site thrived. engagement rose to record
5:03 pm
levels. people liked it even more. musk's experiment showed that at least 85% ever of his payroll wasn't doing much of anything at all, listening to their podcasts and ordering $40 salads, and uploading cute videos of themselves to tiktok. this is the documented work product from one atlanta employee. watch. >> this is my first time going into the office in a long time, but it was nice to have a change of scenery. for lunch, we decided to go downstairs. it's a black-owned restaurant. >> we ordered the quesadillas, and a fancy pants cocktail. they were all really good. i'll to definitely be back. after lunch, we went back upstairs to an extremely empty office, but twitter was proud of our productivity, and we rewarded with ourselves with margaritas.
5:04 pm
>> tucker: ha-ha-ha. that's what they're doing, drinking at lunch, trying to become famous on tiktok, but not as a math question a huge addition to the bottom line. we want to be fair. let's check in with twitter hq in san francisco. san francisco is where all the tech people live, the geniuses from stanford, the ones who learn to code. what's their workday like? once again, for the answer, we go to tiktok. >> welcome to a day in my life as a twitter employee. this past week, honestly took a moment to soak everything in. what a blessing. also started my morning off with a macha, then had a meeting, and quickly scheduled a pod rooms, so cool, literally noise canceling. look how dishes this food looks. oh, my goodness, i was so overwhelmed. then paid my way down to this
5:05 pm
area. i don't know what this is, but it was really cool. i wanted to unwind a bit. also found this really cool medication room. >> tucker: she seems like a nice girl actually. we're not being mean, but played foosball with my friends before the meditation room for unwinding. then a stretch in the noise canceling pod. that is quite a bit of unwinding. seems like a super nice person, but does that work? well, as it happens, at this time there was work to do at twitter. the site seemed to have child pornography on its servers. twitter executives did know that, but did nothing about it. elon musk revealed today that twitter's safety team went ahead and ignored the kiddie porn. so did the ceo.
5:06 pm
no problem with kiddie porn. maybe at this point it seems like we're being mean, don't want to single out twitter unfairly, because it's not only the tech company in america where people don't do anything all day other than unwind. here's a video diary from a project manager at facebook, now called meta. >> as a project manager at meta, i journal in the morning. i get dressed, try to look cute every day, got food at the office, make a single coffee every single morning. i did work on the roof. worked until lunch. ate up there. here's me being cute. i got a smack always. i then shuttled home. met up with some friends for dinner. >> tucker: project manager? no mention of the projects being managed, extensive chronicling of snacking, dancing, going out to dinner. easier than working at an
5:07 pm
asphalt plant. on the other hand, not as productive. if you watch enough videos like this, and there are many videos like this out there, you can start to worry, on the edge of your mind, but creeps toward the center, worry about the u.s. economy. if we had mass layoffs in white collar america, social media companies, consulting firms, university administrations, snack providers would obviously take a hit. there would be a lot less midday snacking going on. can we really say that the company would be worse off? honestly we can't say that. then there's the federal government. that's not a small government. u.s. government is the largest employer on planet earth. millions and millions of people work for the u.s. government. what do they do all day? well, unfortunately, due to privacy laws we can't answer that question in any detail. we don't have a right to know what they do all day. it's only our money. shut up, serfs. there are hints that suggest
5:08 pm
what they're doing all day at the department of energy. sam brynton, oversaw the disposal of this country's nuclear waste. what did he do all day? we checked his instagram, where he posted several nude photos of himself, tied down by ropes. another picture standing over college students wearing fetish masks. he did that. how you may ask as a nonfederal employee is that related to nuclear waste disposal? we didn't go to mit, so we'll let him spain. watch. >> for me the most important word is openly. what in the world does your gender fluid identity have to do with nuclear waste. i will respond to it i'm given the opportunity to serve my country as i am. that's a really important aspect of my work, because i work on nuclear waste management.
5:09 pm
>> tucker: so you'll notice a theme that connects all of these videos. that interview and tiktok videos we already showed you, talking about yourself, me me me me me me, wonderful me, would you like to hear more about me, talking about yourself? narcissism is a key point of the workday for a lot of people, an essential part of nuclear waste management. also he stole women's underwear, which doesn't seem related to his job at the department of infeenergy, but we're not bigotd trying to remain open-minded, samhewas so serious that he paie price for stealing underwear. last month he was charged with a felony for stealing other people's underwear in other people's luggage at the airport in minneapolis. so he was committed to it. then last night we learned that sam brinton has been charged
5:10 pm
with another felony for stealing more underwear at the airport in las vegas. stealing other people's underwear from airport carousels could be a critical part of nuclear waste disposal, and they know it. you have to wonder what paul whalen thinks about this, currently serving 16 years in a russian penal colony, still there tonight, because the biden administration decided to bring home a female basketball player busted for weed instead, because she had a lot more friends in the media and much more interesting personal life. in some, if we're being honest, you have to blame paul whalen for remaining behind bars tonight. if only paul whalen had stolen someone else's underwear from an
5:11 pm
airport carousel or advertised his fetishes on instagram, joe biden would have responded, sent the 101st airborne and paul whalen would be home tonight in a bondage mask in his own house. chadwickmoore is an expert on changing rules, and joins us tonight with reaction. paul whalen, that's how isolated he is? he didn't know if he'd gone gender fluid he'd be home tonight? can we get this message to americans in prison around the world tonight? >> i think we need to. you know, turns out, all that glitters is not fact gold. case in point is this radioactive drag queen, who, by the way, we already know way too much about his personal life and his sexual fetishes than we ought to know about any government worker. turns out his creepiest, most bizarre kink was sitting there,
5:12 pm
waiting at baggage claim all along. he has a fetish for stealing luggage, which is so creepy and so strange, and the thought of that mustache drag queen rummaging through your clothes, yuck. when you think of luggage thieves, you think of kids taking the train to the airport to quickly find an ipad to sell it. i don't think that's what this guy was doing. it's like he's getting off on this thing. >> tucker: neither one of us is a psychiatrist, but how decadent do you have to be to reach the point where you've tried everything, become bored of it, that stealing luggage is what turns you on? seriously. that's pretty far out. >> decadent is such a good word for that. yes, it is late-stage. >> tucker: late stage? ha-ha-ha. >> the lesson we learn, is if a man shows up for a job interview wearing high heels and
5:13 pm
potentially stolen dress, don't hire him for the sake of diversity. that's not diversity. that's mental illness. you're not going to be a bigot if you don't hire the crazy man in the stolen clothes. you'll be protecting your company, because he's clearly a liability. i think hr directors should maybe take that one to heart. >> tucker: you are the author of sensitive diversity training. great subject. thanks for coming on tonight. good to see you. >> thank you. >> tucker: a fox news alert for you. matt tiabbi posted the third installment of the twitter files, happening in real time. fox news' trace gallagher joins us now. >> by tweet number 17, matt tiabbi starts getting into the relationship between twitter and the federal government, saying during this time executives were
5:14 pm
liaisonning. should this relationship be a partnership with outside experts he asks. another outside exec says maybe use the word partnership. these weekly ma meetings include the director of national intelligence. what's new for since our last check-in? we blocked the "new york post" story, then unblocked it, but said the opposite. then said we unblocked it. now we're in a messy situation where our policy is in a shambles. reporters think we're idiots. we're refactorring an exceedingly complex policy 18 days away from the election. twitter was getting messages from the fbi concerning things
5:15 pm
like male-in ballots, rejected for errors. in other words the fbi is generating this process, showing twitter how to flag certain information. matt tiabbi notes that during the entire election enforcement, quote, we didn't see one reference to a moderation request from the trump campaign, the trump white house, or republicans generally, which of course is more evidence of one-sided enforcement policy. and we're also learning that former president trump was being shut down in record time. quoting here, trump was being visibility filter that's a term as late as a week before the election. here senior execs didn't appear to have a particular violation, but still worked fast to make sure a fairly anodyne trump tweet couldn't be replied to shared or liked. as tiabbi notes, the execs seems to be very pleased that trump had been dealt with quickly, saying, quote, very well done on
5:16 pm
speed. it's astonishing in its totality, tucker. we are continuing to cover the incoming tweets. >> tucker: amazing. trace gallagher, thank you. so you just have heard that twitter was putting its thumb on the scale in the last presidential election in 2020. got knows what they were doing just two weeks ago. they were doing it at the urging of guesting agencies and the other part. what's interesting the former ceo of jack dorsey asked about shadowbanning under oath, and it's interesting to go back and see what he said. that's next.
5:19 pm
vehicles come in all different sizes. yet ordinary windshield phone holders are one size fits all. does that make sense? no. but this does. the adjustable windshieldfone from weathertech. it extends and retracts for a perfect fit in any vehicle. plus, a quick release tab for easy one handed in and out. and for kids, use it in the back seat too. comes with short, medium and telescopic arms, to fit any vehicle. order the american made windshieldfone at weathertech.com. even makes a nice holiday gift.
5:21 pm
>> tucker: so we've been really for the last week, a week today, we've been reading best what was going within twitter, while the rest of us were sure, everything is fine, it's all on the level, you're allowed to communicate. right. it turns out, of course, the company has been banning people without their knowledge, shadowbanning them, and lying about it. elon musk today confirmed that twitter did this to candidates for office. that's election interference.
5:22 pm
it's certainly an attack on democracy at the most basic level, probably illegal, and also interesting given what twitter said about this before. ceo's old ceo jack dorsey denied this was happening. here's the tape. watch. >> social media is being rugged to censor conservatives. is that true of twitter? >> no. >> are you censoring people? >> no. >> twitter shadowbanning prominent republicans. is that true? >> no. >> tucker: that seems like a lie. one of the reasons this story gets complicated is that jack dorsey apparently is strongly in favor of free speech and backed elon musk in his purchase of twitter. so it's actually possible that he didn't know what his own employees were doing when he gave that testimony. there is, in these files, that his employees at twitter often acted without his knowledge. what we know for certain is that
5:23 pm
democrats in the congress don't seem interested in the question either way. that's funny, because he used to care about lying to congress. remember? putting people in prison for lying to congress. roger stone got a swat team at his front door at 6:00 in the morning for lying to congress. but today fox's hillary vaughn asked lawmakers about lying at twitter. they didn't seem too concerned. watch this. >> about the twitter files, if it turns out the fbi did mislead twitter executives to think that the hunter biden laptop was russian disinformation, should those people be be held accountable? >> much ado about nothing. >> what about censoring information on a media platform? >> again, i don't know what you're talking about. anything that undermines democracy threatens the security of the american people should be reviewed. >> the twitter files, and if you
5:24 pm
have any concerns they were able to suppress the hunter biden laptop story just a few days before an election. >> tucker: well, speaking of lying, it's happening right in front of us. it has been more than a month since paul pelosi was attacked in his home on a friday night in san francisco. the assailant, a hippie nudist, a right wing extremist, despite being a black matter lives fan. paul pelosi didn't seem afraid of depape. in fact he opened the door for the cops himself. what happened in the pelosi house that night? a lot of conspiracy theories about it, and people who put those forward have been attacked for it. you're crazy. so there's one way to end this debate immediately. it would be a constitutional way to end it. in fact, we should be demanding it. that's to see the body cam
5:25 pm
footage from that night, because these police are public servants, work for the rest of us, and have no right to hide that. but the police, for some reason, have refused to release that body cam footage. we get body cam footage every day in the news business. they're intent on not releasing it. in depape's federal court case, a judge issued a ban from releasing it. what's going on? why are they hiding this? is there a good reason? we don't know. larry elder ran for governor in california, a state in which he's lived for many years. he joins us to assess what's going on here. larry, thanks for coming on. why can't we end this conversation with the evidence that we have a right to see? >> of course, we're speculating, but somebody does not want somebody to know what really happened that day. i don't know. the nbc reporter, who reported that pelosi calmly opened the door, said he had a hammer in
5:26 pm
his hand, and calmly walked back. that guy got suspended. we don't know what's happening. we haven't seen any footage, any audio. we don't know what the witnesses are saying. maybe paul pelosi knew the guy. maybe nancy pelosi knew the guy. maybe paul invited him in. we just don't know. all i know is that the official story that we've heard, which is very simple, this guy broke into paul pelosi's house and attacked him does not appear to be the case. otherwise why so secretive? why not tell what's going on? why the gag order? i've never seen. >> tucker: i've met paul pelosi, and he's a very nice man. i wouldn't be doing the story right now if they hadn't used it to attack their political opponents? they used this story to attack their political opponents. we have an absolute right and obligation to get to the bottom
5:27 pm
of it, correct? >> that's right. i said something snarky about it after i made sure that paul pelosi was going to recover fully, and i was attacked, and other conservatives attacked. you're quite right, we ought to know what the story is. it was used to show how insensitive and callous conservatives are before the midterms. >> tucker: they'll use anything, even her husband's attack, as you well know, having been attacked. >> i'm the black face of white supremacy, tucker. >> tucker: great to see you. the covid pandemic has ended, of course. but the tyranny is still going. duke university is denying a lifesaving kidney transplant to a teenager because she didn't take the covid vax. the mother of that teenager joins us to share the story
5:29 pm
5:33 pm
>> tucker: we've spoken to a number of people hoping to get lifesaving transplants, organ transplants, not approved for those transplants because they hadn't taken the covid vaccine. this story pertains to a child, a 14-year-old, and there's hard evidence of exactly what happened. chrissy hicks and her husband recently called doctors at duke university hospital and asked for a kidney transplant for their adopted 14-year-old daughter julia, but duke wouldn't do it because julia was not up to date with her covid vaccination. this is audio. >> i can't require you to do anything, but if you don't follow our qualifications julia
5:34 pm
can't be a patient here. based on number 10, medical risk factors that make the surgery unsafe. being unvaccinated to the cdc recommended vaccinations based on her age is part of that. >> so denying a lifesaving transplant for a 14-year-old, because she doesn't have the covid vaccine, it's obvious unreasonable and viciously cool. but it gets worse in its details. julia had covid and recovered, natural immunity, proven by scientists to be superior to the covid vaccines, but when they mentioned that fact, a physician at duke university hospital shot them down again. listen. >> the virus has continued to mutate. so the natural immunity is not as good as if you had natural immunity, because vaccination. >> so we will let your 14-year-old die because we're
5:35 pm
too afraid to operate on a 14-year-old who hasn't had the covid vaccine. chrissy, thanks for coming on. thank you for tape-recording those phone calls. at any point did anyone from duke university hospital express sympathy as the mother of a child who could die without this surgery? >> no, tucker. our dialysis goes through duke as well. we do it at home for julia. but the two doctors who denied us because of the covid vaccine, we saw them for an eight-hour workup, and that's when they told us it was going to be required. then we kind of pushed back a little bit. they put her in front of the committee on november southeastth. she was rejected solely because of the vaccine that's when we decided to do a conference call and get actual evidence of them
5:36 pm
telling us this. >> tucker: i presume they're aware there are a number of first world countries with less politicized healthcare systems that no longer give the vaccine to 14-year-olds because the risk isn't worth the reward. this isn't rooted in science, right? >> they said the cdc recommendation had been updated in october, and they had to go by the recommendation, and if she didn't get the vaccine she wouldn't be getting a transplant at duke. >> tucker: i just want to ask you this question one more time. nobody at any point, in this discussion, said i'm really sorry that your child could do because of the cdc rule? >> of course not, no. there's no sympathy whatsoever from any of them. it's strong arming us, give her the vaccine, and you'll get the vaccine. >> tucker: so evil, it's hard to digest it. what are your options now? >> we have retained a lawyer.

bigger than julia, so many families in the situation as julia, and we want to help other families. there's been a line drawn in the sand. if we don't stand up now for our medical freedoms, we don't won't be able to stand up soon. >> tucker: saving a life of a 14-year-old, that shouldn't be hard for doctors at duke. thank you for explaining this. >> thank you, tucker. >> tucker: of course. every once in a while we check in on our biggest city, new york city. the trace gallagher has been tracking what's happening in new york. he joins us tonight. >> first we're talking about an attack caught last week in manhattan, caught on video. it's hard to watch. a man pulls out a baseball bat from his pants and proceeds to hit another man walking down the sidewalk in the back of the head. the victim, who is homeless, survived, but as a detective told me a bat to the back of the
5:39 pm
head is more often not fatal. now the bat swinger, 36-year-old, was caught on on wednesday and charged with assault. that's it. assault. he was let out less than 24 hours later on $7500 bail. his lawyer maintains that we don't really have all the context. the that he knew the homeless man and they had a beef. so apparently now, if you know the person you tried to kill, he annoyed you, it appears to be okay. if that story surprises you, how about this one? the producer for -- a producer for "tucker carlson tonight" happened to notice that cbs is selling sex toys. there's a tush cus h, and if you have the cash, it will run you

duchess from l.a. andmer mentally deficient husband. somehow they got a n netflix documentary. the we bring you this. in one scene, the duchess from l.a. talks about meeting the late queen of england for the first time. here it is. >> how do you explain that 2 will need to curtsy? especially as an american. that's weird. >> this is a big deal. i mean, americans will understand this. we have medieval times. i curtsied as though i was, like pleasure to meet you, your majesty. was that okay? it was so intense.
5:47 pm
the. >> tucker: you pursued her grandson, so you could be involved in all this, because you have no other talents obviously. so why everyone paying attention to? aanglican deacon joins us tonight. what do you think this campaign about getting us interested in these people is about? >> oh, my goodness, the suffering i had to endure watching this program. i think meghan and harry are painting themselves as victims, that they're above reproach. she was surprised that she couldn't just hug them. there are protocols, hoops she had to jump through, formalities, this wasn't an act, this was a vocation. that was a big surprise to her. >> tucker: but, i mean, that's the reason she went after this poor guy who clearly didn't know
5:48 pm
what hit him. she's obviously got some skills. she ensnares him in order to be around the royals. then, oh, i had no idea what i was in there. >> i know. it's quite sad. looking at the clip you just showed, you could see harry's face, mocking british culture, mocking her majesty the queen, mocking harry for the fact that she had to curtisy in front of the monarchy, beyond bizarre, but to suggest she was barefoot, attempting to hug the prince and princess of wales when she met them, show a bit of etiquette. low class. >> tucker: go back to long beach. just because we're in a mean mood, here's another clip. >> when will and kate came over, i met her for the first time, i was in ripped jeans, barefoot.

i was a hugger, always been a hugger. i didn't realize that's jarring for a lot of brits. >> tucker: you don't think of narcissism being its own genre of television, but it's become one. >> the idea that it's all about her, how poorly she was treated by having to actually greet people with some manners and respect, having to play the game. i think the core of this was she wanted to become a princess, but didn't want to do all the stuff that princesses have to do, which is the boring stuff really, cutting ribbons, opening town centers, shaking people's hands, and it's also adjusting to having people curtsies at her, but she wasn't comfortable curtsying the queen. >> tucker: father, thank you. >> always a pleasure. >> tucker: if you've watched a white house press briefing, she

disaster, a catastrophe, covering the biden white house. right now i'm the voice of africa in the u.s. but i can confirm that the level of discrimination against me and against african journalists in the white house is astounding, disgraceful. you know, it's been three months that we don't have questions at the white house. even as president biden is about to receive african heads of state, she didn't give us a single question. i've been trying for the past three months. it's shocking, because she's black. she's an immigrant. i'm black. i'm also an immigrant. it's shocking. she should be ashamed of herself for doing that. and it's heartbreaking.
5:53 pm
>> tucker: she's obviously a bigot. you can see it in her face. she really dislikes you. do you suppose because you don't have the same views that someone who look like you should have, in her opinion? >> yes. so i believe that it has to do with two or three things. the first thing, i sound different. i wasn't born here. i was born in cameroon. i speak 47. i speak different languages. i don't have the american accent. i've tried. i've failed. i'll stick with my accent. i'm an immigrant. i asked her, how is it understandable that president biden is inviting 50 african head of state to the u.s. who has spent almost $50 million each and he doesn't have five minutes to spend about each of them? he won't have and one with any of those african presidents coming here, in countries where money is a big problem?

why not have a meeting on zoom, for instance. so i asked questions about covid. how do you explain that 1 million people even have to go by official figures, 1 million americans were killed by covid, and we don't know where covid came. you lied to us. you told us that covid came from bat to human, and now we understand that it probably came from the lab. that's the most consequential question. she wouldn't even allow that question to be asked. no. you need to allow the question. it is disgreat $graceful. >> tucker: you are always welcome on this show. thank you so much. we're on your side. more news next.
