infrastructure on gun legislation. on the chips bill the china competitive bill so i'm encouraged i don't think it is worst thing to add divided government in this country. it is a check on each other's houses and check on the presidency i'm hopeful that we'll get good legislation when it comes to immigration we have the basis from the 2013 pass the senate let's resurrect that in a democrat senate but i'm hopeful that we'll see more of that in the future. you know my politics lawrence i'm in the middle i'm a democrat but a moderate democrat and hopefully we'll see more activity like we've seen over last go gleers terms of bipartisan bills making their way through -- lawrence: i have to be honest request you. you lost me there because -- it can't be the squad saying that he's going to be the most progressive president in american history and him being a moderate at the same time. and i think that's what has the country torn. he's kind of serving two masters right now but hopefully we get better year coming up. gentlemen, after three weeks,

fox news alert welcome back to cross country moscow, idaho where a day filled with celebration was overshadowed by sadness. the university of idaho winner graduation including tribute to the four students murdereds nearly one month ago. one of those victims kaylee expected to walk across the stage and get her diploma instead police packed up her belongings as her family awaits justice in this case. our friend alex sis live in moscow as police issue a new warning alexis what can you tell us? >> lawrence since you were on the ground just the other day we have had new pieces of information like investigators looking for a car but this should be a weekend of celebration here you can see behind me streets of downtown moscow near the university are empty because mood here is
1:28 am
somber, though, it should be pretty much celebratory this weekend but tonight investigators are trying to figure out exactly what people know about this case. as the killer is not yet behind bars they're telling people to be vigilant take a live look at the crime scene we have a camera right now and give you close look at exactly what we've seen in the past 24 hours you can see it is covered in yellow tape there as police investigate the quadruple murder rocked the campus and innocent college kids stabbed to death nearly one month ago and still no arrest in the case. the families of maddie katie and ethan left with more questions than answers. you can see in the drone video just layout the house we know victims got back to home around 2:00 in the morning that -- day. and police say they were killed some time between 3 and 4 in the morning. what happened inside the house lawrence still under investigation. the police chief tells me they're looking for a fixed blade knife and until they have an arrest, they're talking to everyone.
1:29 am
>> just because someone has been cleared right now does that mean they might be reinterviewed? mnchts, many hours have gone into that and several investigators and team have looked at information that comes in and they've verified that those people can be cleared. so -- what i want to assure them is we're doing everything we can and we're taking our time to do it right. investigators believe their on the right track lawrence and more questions than answers for poor kids families and police are looking for a white hyundai example that police released they believe it is a 2011 to 2013 elantra parked or driving by home around time of the murders they believe the person or people in that car have vital informs in the case this all comes as we mention the police are now putting out information that if you're near the campus or in moscow, idaho you should be traveling in groups and remaining vigilant has people here on edge.
1:30 am
>> so confusing because it was a targeted attack that now suggest if people should be in fear for their life that this guy may attack again. thanks so much alexis. so our favorite cross country contributor paul morrow joins me now you've been on the ground and stayed additional time there to gather some stuff. what your tame away from all of this information in prees press conferences? >> so we do have some developments since last time we spoke last time we were out there three developments since. first of thoatdz most significant i would suspect is the car. since the k bar knife suggestion, and it does go somewhat to theory that you and i have spoken about and we don't speculate but report the facts and this goes to the fact that in the rear of the house there's that parking lot and so when you see them looking for a car. we've talked about fact that it's a window right into the back of the home. and so the fact that now a car
1:31 am
comes into play and could be a witness car and that's how the warning is -- phrased you know they say somebody was critical information. but extrapolating from that this could be they think that could break case where the car found. >> tell me about they're not really releasing any information to the public. but there was one critical point and we pressed them on cross country about this. about the timeline for chapeen as well as xana second bullet point there and now they feel they were at the house the entire time. they're back and forth on that time line, brother. >> i think that's one of the things that's leading to some frustration every time the police communicate and you know hold a press conference, they make -- very forward leaning amendments to elicit information from public. they have anything, anything no matter how small you think it is
1:32 am
here is the tip line and yet not a lot of context for that that's probably why the car could be significant. >> what about the scream? >> so that's one of thes other of the three that have developed since we last spoke. we have a scream at about 0400 at the end of the 3 to 4 window because the last check the car was 2:56 so would have had to have falsen asleep in four minutes so we have mention that it might be a little bit later but this might pin down when it occurred and then third new development is the chef who returns back from you know working. gets home at 0 1:30 he's hearing dispreem front door neighbor who notice it is 0830 front door is open so that cuts a little bit against the rear theory because if the front door is open, that does suggest that that's how the perp left the home so why go back around the house.
1:33 am
so it is a confusing set of circumstances i'm sure police know a lot more than we do. but i understand the frustration because if we have a few data points lefty, righty, hair color, size -- you know, there's been reporting that there is a shoe print. size of his foot -- things like that may suggest suggest to somebody where they say you know what i need to mention this. >> this is why parents are still frustrated a lot of people may be asking why the gun office here from the last three shows. can we pull up that statement for me this is what they message us -- question agree to stop interviewing for a week and give the law enforcement a chance to communicate a clearer narrative and week three good communication they say we're told the case progress is on track and the reaching out to the public for help on the 2011 to 2011 hyundai white vehicle detail updates of stalker as being isolated event.
1:34 am
they continue to add more resources as adding that additional fbi agents we want to thank all of these agents local state and federally for their work and dedication to our community so they're saying they believe in this investigation. but they're going pull off for a little bit paul you've been doing great work. thank you so much. so coming up twitter exposed elon musk reveals another badge of developments in his quest for free speech that's next on cross country.

twitter headquarters. and kennedy is sheer to help us break it all down. >> on your birthday. >> thank you for breaking it down. kennedy what's the beef here from the libs on this? you would think they would want this to happen because if you allow this type of stuff to happen it is going turn on them eventually. >> no not the way they see it because this has been twitter has been a nice before i along with every other jiepght tech company and social media company. this has been buffer between them and the federal government. and so what twitter has been doing essentially and twitter file vaccination shown this is keeping democratic politicians in power, and that's what they've been working towards and if you look at just the donations alone about 93% of donations from twitter employees go to democrat candidates, and you know that's pretty typical in san francisco, and that part of the world. and it is fine if it's a private company or a publicly traded
1:40 am
company. they can do whatever they want they can have their own rules but what we're also learning from this is -- there were weekly meetings with dhs, and the fbi, and other federal bureaucracies and they were telling twitter how to do their business who they wanted and twitter figured out how to do that at the best of elements of the federal government. and that is -- you know, it's sort of like money landering for censorship and you can say well, censorship only happen when is government is doing that what if the government is working with a platform to sensor people isn't that also censorship? and you know, we don't want to be censored if you have a busmg of liberal voices, do you think they want to be censored when there is another republican president? >> well i think you just got to the core argument because -- one point create your own platform but much different when we have evidence now.
1:41 am
there's for everyone to read now of the federal government going after what are the legal ramifications of the feds using their power to go after american social citizens it is no longer a private company but feds directed as you noted to do this. >> now it is the person who owns that private company is saying i'm going to go and i'm going to figure out how all of this was working. because i knew something wasn't right that's what e-lon musk has been saying entire time like his gut was telling him something is young here because he was reading about so many conservatives and they -- didn't know the ways that they could be banned or kept from trending you know banned outright or -- just have their tweets sort of not really see the light of day. and you would have a bunch of followers saying that people like charlie hey i follow you but i'm not seeing your tweets for some reason or other people the doctor from stanford who was -- >> they act like all of us are crazy when that was happening like when people said this like
1:42 am
oh, these conspiracy theorist going on but now we know it to be true and -- >> before congress under oath said twitter does not shadow ban people. maybe they were using different names for it. >> semantics maybe that's way of getting around a perjury charge but before a government and lying then you should be charged people shouldn't be able to do that. and you know, you can run your company however you want to run it but i'm very glad someone who wants to run it differently is showing us how badly and dangerously it was run before. >> it is a lot of us like if you don't want on platform put a notice up there but don't say it is a platform when you know that you're not really about that. kennedy thanks for coming in. many years as i say in greek -- it is good luck to work on your birthday. >> uh-huh. we're going to get -- i believe we are. that is correct. when we're out there. coming up, casey anthony back in the spotlight and guess what

[both] finch! let's go! oh yeah! it's not the same. what could you do to solve the problem? we could get xfinity? that's actually super adult of you to suggest. i can't wait to squad up. i love it when you talk nerdy to me. guy, guys, guys, we're still in session. and i don't know what the heck you're talking about. so it's been more than a decade since casey anthony accused and then acquitted in her death of

her daughter and extended 15 minutes of fame with a peacock docu-series already with views including from rosie o'donnell who is facing a fire storm of critics after coming to anthony's defense. watch. when i started watching that documentary i thought there's no way in hell that this girl is innocent. and i changed my mind. >> so no one know this is case better than nancy gray we sat down with her to get the real story. watch. >> she wants to tell her side of the story we have a court of law that presented a lot of facts that are there. is there something that we are missing in the case? >> well actually from what i can decipher she is yet again second verse same as the first she's blaming her father george anthony for the death of her
1:48 am
girl kaylee her story changed, though, now you know, the fifth amendment gives you freedom because you don't have to speak to police. you're protected from the state. but nobody is protecting you from gabbing on peacock all right. now, the story that her defense attorney jose baez started a trial was that kaylee died by incomes the family pool. there was some discussion about it was ladder there or not kind of saying kaylee fell in the pool. okay that's what they said. but now is saying oh this was no accident. >> why didn't see -- departure than what was asserted at trial changing the story. it is one thing to add to the story like i say hey where are you from you say dallas and did you live in a high-rise or out in the country you're adding but when you change your story and tell me you're from philly bam. i got you. >> is it because he meads the

argument in court a skilled attorney i may add but she never took the stand and now that she's speaking the story is not being quint what the defense was able to provide. right? >> because she can't keep her story straight and i also heard from she says i'm protecting my daughter. really? you sat on your parents sofa for two years and ate chips while cindy and george worked to feed and clothe and house your daughter. she did not take care of her daughter. now, her story is getting even more and more extravagant now saying over 30 days when kaylee was missing, i.e. dead that george would call her and give her instruction on how to behave as i've said i doubt george anthony said strap on a pushup bra and climb on stripper pole i don't think that happeneds. but that's what she did. >> we know this is false what
1:50 am
she's doing. why pick this up? why would a network pick this up? >> i guess for money -- for viewers -- to attract people kind of a lawyeristic type of audience and a lot of people are going to watch. because they want to hear what she's going say and i think part of it is lawrence, that people want to believe she's innocent as do i. i don't to think of a mother cold-bloodedly wraing duct tape around her daughter's nose and when the duct tape was hanging off her skull. still attached to her hair. so that's not falling in the pool that's a lie. >> that's why she should have tried the case she so you
1:51 am
couldn't. what are your thoughts? >> think thoughts official happy birthday what a top pick but nancy grace watching her is so compelling i do think that if she felt this strongly i know she was asked to do the documentary. i think maybe she should have taken part in it just to speak out because that like i said that was very compelling. my thoughts on this whole thing -- i mean, i watched it i watched all three episodes and my thoughts changed after every single episode. i promise you so i went into this, obviously, thinking i shouldn't watch this i should not give her time of the day and -- you know, i got to the second episode and i'm like okay that kind of makes sense what she said and i found myself going back and saying you know what, i'm mother. i am a parent it is the 31 days that get me. as a parent you cannot -- i mean, i think about going on vacation with my husband or something and after a day of not seeing my kids i'm calling them.
