i was really disappointed, though not surprised by that hideous answer. >> lili: i'm going to be with dr. siegel on this one. i would like some civility back into the way we interact with each other, respect to the job. the person asking the question was doing her job. we expect also our speaker to do the job of serving the people that are paying her salary, to your point, and expecting her to lead. it's time to reset, too much drama. not anything has to be a fight. >> kennedy: well said. next up, we all know the internet is forever, right? apparently not all of us. people starting to enter the workforce, many people shocked the learn their digital footprints are real and they cost them. one tiktok user posted a video saying realizing digital footprint is real. when called for a job interview, they love me but when they did a background check, they said they didn't want to hire me.

it used to be that you could lie about who you are. now employers, universities, they dig everything up because it's right there. >> marie: it's right there. we give it to them. aren't you glad we didn't have facebook when we were trying to get jobs? these kids need to learn this lesson. when i hire people, i look at their social media. if it's not professional, i'm not going to hire them. >> kennedy: that's the first thing you do. >> marc: i'm happy because of this exact reason. it's a long trail and the thing about censorship, elon musk is right. people should be able to say what they want to say. my son acquainted me to what tiktok is. >> kennedy: spying apparatus of the communist chinese. >> marc: no. you put together a slew of sewage that you follow. you convince yourself. you have a thyroid problem, this problem. none of it is true. you deserve what you get if you go there firing shots across the bow. >> kennedy: 's call tiktok because hypochondriacs think they are going to die.
9:51 am
>> emily: the only thing that shocked me was a kid saying i was shocked and sad because -- why are you shocked? who did not tell you there was accountability for your actions? i love it. that's what happens in the real world. there are a consequence to portray yourself in a certain way, consequences for everything and i agree. anyone filling a position should include all evidence available which includes a social media profile. >> kennedy: you should look for yourself is that you are the boss about hire someone. >> lili: absolutely. that's part of the diligence everyone should do. i've hired about 20 people this year. i have looked at everyone's social media. what everyone needs to understand, like it or not, people are watching. you are all a public figure because he put everything publicly. anyone that wants to protect the integrity of who they are on the job no longer can pretend to be the funny, crazy person online and then show up differently because you are you and your putting it out. there is the consequence.
9:52 am
don't be shocked. for the obvious. do your homework and be smart about it. >> kennedy: lock it up. don't put stupid stuff online. finally, new study showing why states have the best -- which states have the best and worst drivers. exits, speeding tickets, duis. the best drivers are up the road in connecticut followed by michigan and west virginia. the worst drivers, this is kind of shocking. utah. i didn't see that one coming. california, yes. horrible drivers. iowa finishing second and third. do you concur with that list? >> marie: i don't know why ohio, my beloved home state is on that list. in michigan. college football playoffs. everybody route for the buckeyes. i live in the d.c. area. maryland drivers are awful. your point about civility, people are terrible drivers in part because they are mean to each other and cut people off.
9:53 am
it's tough out there. >> kennedy: by the way, we have to take a page out of europe's playbook. if you are driving slowly, get out of the left lane. you don't belong there. if you're going the speed limit, stay in the right lane. >> marc: i hate when i'm about to say. i was looking to see whether this was going to be due to marijuana because in california it's recreationally legal. it's not. in iowa, it's not. in utah, it's not that i look for another reason i hate to see this. police. i speed my hat off on the highway. it turns out that in utah you can go 75 miles an hour on rural roads. california, 70. iowa, 70. i think it is the speed. >> kennedy: dr. siegel, you are right. it should be 80 and 85. >> emily: i have a huge problem with how this is categorized. washington state has the worst drivers because they hang out in the fast lane driving super slowly and then stay next to each other so aggressive, assertive drivers cannot pass them. >> kennedy: ding, ding, ding.
9:54 am
>> lili: one thing i miss about not living in new york anymore, living in texas. i have to drive. i am still a new driver. i just bought my first car last year moving back to texas. you don't need one here. i have no criteria for judging this list because i am somebody who doesn't like to drive an anyway. >> kennedy: i love driving. road trip. i love being carried around in a rickshaw. more "outnumbered" in just a minute. veteran homeowners. prices on everything have gone up and up. the good news? so has the value of your home. and maybe a lot more than you think. if you need cash to stay ahead, call newday. use your va home loan benefit to borrow up to 100% of your home's value. not just 80% like some other lenders. take out an average of $60,000 and lower your payments by $600 a month

knew what was up. a new study finds if you want to live longer, know your neighbors. link living alone to increased health risks and nearly 50% higher risk of death. strong relationships with neighbors can drastically lower those odds. doctor, what say you? >> two reasons it might work -- it does work, does work, kindness, sharing, part of a community, christmas cheer. the other issue is what if you don't feel well, you have to know somebody to call. i've gone to my neighbors' houses and sent them to the hospital. somebody to help you if you don't feel well. >> i love being your neighbor, kennedy. you help me with champagne and "the crown." >> which should share lives, don't share needles and make

sure you use birth control. >> i don't know how to follow that. my husband and i moved to the suburbs from downtown d.c., and they watch fox, and it's like a lovely sense ever community. >> totally. >> i love my new neighbors. less than 24 hours we arrived in texas, we had lasagna, cook i all kinds of stuff. >> i want to move to your neighborhood. >> thank you for watching and now here is "america reports." >> if you are going to have pain, make it champagne. thank you, emily. anyone can be a victim as crime soars across america. 70-year-old woman in chicago out for a walk with her dog, robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight. >> sandra: the suspect took off in the woman's suv after grabbing her keys from her bag, and it's in one of the safer neighborhoods. we will speak with the woman live coming up
